This entire experience, from launch of the main game to the recent release of Eldritch Realms has been amazing, a fantastic game. I do hope that, even with this expansion pass now finished, along with the Story of Age of Wonders for now, that there will be more exciting things for this game to come. If not though, I wouldn't mind if the lessons and things that made this game so amazing were applied to say an Age of Wonders Planetfall 2, especially with the ability to create our own factions from the ground up and evolve them based on our decisions and choices. Again, thank you all for all your hard work and I look forward to the future of Age of Wonders.

It's absolutely wild how much the game has improved in a year. Triumph has always known what they are doing and AoW4 has become their magnum opus for sure.
I think this game would benefit from a map/campaign creator. One of the main draws of the game in my opinion is the customization and role playing aspects, so I think a lot of people would appreciate the ability to create custom worlds/campaigns filled with quests, characters, lore and races of their own design and share with others. I feel it's a missed opportunity to not do something like this as it would massively increase replayability and allow players to share their stories. I would even be fine with it being a seperate DLC.

AoW4 has been a wonderful combination of many game types I like. I'm sure I speak for many when I say I really appreciate the quality of the updates/DLC, as well as the transparency and in depth looks from the devs. Keep it up guys, amazing work!
When i started my journey with Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, i never thought i'd get to this point, but AoW has always been my favorite Strategy game, and i am Proud to see it prosper so much. thank you Triumph for this great videogame. i have a lot of good memories with the series. i even managed to convince a friend of mine to play it and he grew to love it, despite not being the biggest fan of turn-based strategy, prefers RTS, and yet, the quality of your games were so good, he's making AoW his one exception. plus, AoW4 helped us expand our creativity and make new OCs.
After one season, I think Age of Wonders 4 has established itself as the fantasy equivalent of Stellaris for Paradox. It's such a strong game. Very addictive and fun. And my Godir, I would let them take my money if they release the next season for pre-purchase today. I hope this game becomes as prolific and as expansive as Stellaris. May the Godirs bless our Devs.
an addition that would be nice for customization, and that would be a really minimal addition. An eyes icon to customize the eyes because some forms like humans have small eyes so the change of eye is not very visible. Even if, the eyes are literally useless because 99.999% do not see them (ironically), it remains a nice addition when you want to make a specific character.

The only big things i have left to ask for you guys for is a evil chaos shadow magic culture focusing on creating cults and summoning demons and a material astral culture focused on golems, you guys make those cultures and this game will be near perfect
Seems like an obvious choice for a later dlc more focused around naval stuff (aquatic race OR culture). You start to feel it missing now with tomes that turn your people into mermaids but don't have great synergies compared to other stuff in the game.
I've always played RTS games but giving 4x games ago. Im a casual player and Im terrible at this genre. I always get so lost but with a bit more persistent. Man this company Really knows how to keep classic games the way they should be. These games remind me of Heroes might and magic and Civ 5 and since Im giving Planetfall ago. Im actually loving these type of games. They bring those good old mechanics that work so well. Now I see dragons, Phoenix, Rats wtf this game is KILLABEAST!

Are you planning some kind of alternative to global evil in the game, or at least a patch with pumping up theological cities, or at least an alternative to local hell, like a fairy-tale world, where evil will already receive a debuff every turn and will be forced to adapt or something like that sort of? this kind of thing?
Are they finally gonna innovate a working multiplayer over internet without constant out of sync errors, that every other game had for the past all the time?
Disable score victory (and don't play on a Magic Seals map) and you should be able to play as long as you want, as long as you can keep the AI from reaching any victory condition.
Can I play the game so that my enemies don't expand, but the hardest things that happen on a map are events? Like events that spawn enemies from another plane to conquer everyone, for example.
Play with Megacities map trait. It forces everyone to have a single city, so AI is less pushing. With ER DLC activate Toll of Season map trait to ALWAYS proc it, add massive underground to explore and regenerating infestations.

I hesitate to say that Empires & Ashes was the weakest expansion out of the first year but there's so much from it that barely gets touched anymore. With me already not a fan of the seals victory, the removal of dispelling and the change of seal's enchantment always being on the side of the seal guardians just makes them a massive pain to hold. The tomes are some of the most situational in the game; I'd say Tome of the Dreadnought is the worst of it. Lastly Reavers, balance issues aside, require a certain mood to play given their aggressive play-style (AoW3 necromancer flashbacks) and I'm too much of a turtle to often be in that mood.

It is possible to create your own Story Realms, the workshop currently has two custom campaigns on it.

Yep. While not mentioned here there were tons of updates between each DLC, mainly them balancing the the free updates.

There are 15 possible affinity combinations and we only have 8 in game with the 4 DLC, so there is room for tomes in season 2.
I've noticed the tutorial playlist has a video that's private and unable to be watched. The 15th video seems to be affected.

What's your favorite change to the game since launch?
Tier 1 units more durable and viable along with the new rank up system. No more useless units.
Wish there was a way to rp a more generic empire, I just feel you get shoe horned into playing either good/evil. Especially with the tome types
