What Was I Made For? piano quartet was done some time ago. However, events recently changed my ideas on the movie Barbie. While I never considered myself a feminist per se, I encountered recently the difficulty women, especially minority women, face in many fields.. Though I do not consider myself very high, a few men began to abuse, bully, sabotage me in Spotify. This will happen in all fields, but I feel especially vulnerable because it is an art form. Bullying stifles creativity..The point is we should not be treated as property. Double standards because if we stand up for ourselves, we are deemed 'aggressive'. This new release is doing well, 33k streams in a month.

Right now because of health limitations, I limit recording and practice. Finished recording the successor of The Dragon Waltz - acoustic piano waltz (dark academia), The Phoenix Waltz.

Didn't knew chopin was able to write easy pieces 😮
It was a commissioned work and not supposed to be published..but written late in his life. Despite the simplicity, it is pretty intricate in motifs and creation..
its not exactly the easiest either

Pretty good but the way you're using rubato is ruining the walts form it sounds really nice but academically it's wrong maybe using a smother and softer rubato would be a good option

@@SharonChenMusicBruh, such a stupid and uneducated statement you just said. Rubato does not mean you can play two quavers in a dotted rhythm - that is wrong basically, Chopin did not write that. Rubato is the ebb and flow of the piece through slowing down and speeding up in a more free and lyrical way, but the rhythm of the melody has to be there, not changing what’s written…
Why would a charming waltz performance have to be academically correct … teaching people the basis of classical music when they know not the basics … creates dissonance

Well played, really beautiful. However be careful, you play the first eight note of the bars a bit like a dotted eight note. But if you realize it and it's just interpretation its ok then 👍💫
¿How hard would you say is this piece? Just today I finished another one and want to learn this one.
Even though he wrote it late in his life, I don’t think technically speaking it is hard.. however to phrase and make it breathe, that would be harder. However, it is one of the waltzes students can learn first, this it is popular.
What should I do? My mind memorizes the pieces very quickly, even though I try to study the notes. Even my teacher, Miss, tried to say, “Don’t memorize,” but to no avail.😑
You mean you play it wrong? You do learn technicalities first.. then interpretation

@@noor_o6__ you could technically learn it backwards. measure by measure.. then your brain would be forced to think of the notes
please, start keeping the correct rhythm
play as you would waltz. in dancing you may pause and bow to your partner. It is not danced to a metronome
