Stihl MS362 C-M choke stuck, so let's fix it free

I have a Stihl MS362C that the lever won't go into cold start position. I find the problem which is common on these chainsaws that have M-tronics. So let's go fix it quick and easy, best part no new parts so it's free.

great, can fix mine now. 2 stihl repair shops could not fix it. one told me he had not saw this problem before with this saw. maybe he should check out utube

great video. fixed my problem. only question. how did the buterfly get bent???

My only guess is from usage of using throttle causes butterfly to open and close, every time it closed it was a little more pressure which to bend over time.
So every time you just take finger off quick it snaps back.

I watched this at work then when I got off I checked my 362 and sure enough the butterfly was bent. What causes that? Apologies if you already explained it in the video. Thank you!

I noticed that if I push the rod into the lever(towards to right) the black main lever can be pushed down. Otherwise it gets hung up like the one in this video

i just 80% dissasambled a 362 cm vw, these rubber things holding the airfilter are the plague...
