The Cyclical Consumption is the current economy all over the World. It is making the scarcity problems of the earth finite resources to deteriorate day by day. Current Monetary System is legalised theft. Real money is Gold and Silver. Scarcity gives the money more value. Real money won't lose it's value. When Governments stay away from Gold & Silver then very easy to transfer the wealth / resources to upper class the Rich (Corporatocracy) Elite. When the Governments are printing out more new fiat currency with reserve banks, our old currency is losing its purchasing power everyday. They are printing millions of currency everyday. All governments and laws are existing right now to transfer wealth to upper class the rich elite. The USA Government & other Governments are in many countries, bailed the investment banks & financial institutions in 2008 against the majority of the people. There is no democracy in any countries. Because of the Money System based on profits motive only above all else even humans lives and well-being. So, we do not have freedom to protect our values with the money so on. The violence, bankruptcy & all the negativities are build into the Monetary System of our society. All are owned (including ourselves) by Reserve Bank. Which is private cartel the corporation. So, in legal system, we are legally considered as chattel the properties. They make money in the capital markets with our birth certificates. They do not consider us as Humans. That's the truth. We are at the invisible war with the Elites (Corporatocracies). We have to fight for our Freedom. Resource Based Economy is the Solution. We have to declare the earth resources as the heritage of all the people of this world. So everyone has access to it. Please have your research about zeitgeist movement then you know the truth more.
If you love anyone for reasons then you love the reasons but not that person. Love all serve all. We can not separate anything from everything means all are different but the oneness. All depend on each other. All are connected. Focus on what is focusing on so you only. Real thing can not be threatened by anything. Whatever you accumulated; is not you. Under that pretense, I promise you that pyramid schemers are crapeating scumbags and there’s definitive criteria for finding them.
@@Zimboprenuer not really, because in a normal system you are exchanging money for a product, presumably because the product brings value into your life. Pyramid schemes don’t have a product, so are inherently worthless, but pretend they do.
I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. Some of my favorites are MGF, NRO, MFV, & CIF.

This was great man! I have followed Ackman for years, he is incredibly intelligent, stubborn and savvy. He may not always be right but he picks a well thought out lane and drives that sucker to the end of the road. Don’t think he can catch Buffett …. It’s really hard for anyone to ever catch him. Having all that insurance float, and just decades upon decades upon decades of a head start…. No one will put in 75+ years like Buffett has…. and the reputation of Buffett will never be matched he gets deals gifted to him just because he is Warren Buffett…. Attaching his name to your company makes it almost bullet proof…. And when he exits a position everyone takes notice. But Ackman will be just fine being Bill Ackman I’m sure.

Agree... so many make that quick and 'easy' comparison to Buffett. This whole game of attacking a company is purely for gain not as a conscionable effort to right some wrong. He is out for himself only, = witness his abandoning his SPAC investors to personally buy the investment in Universal Music for himself. Buffett does not attack companies.
Buffett also has another secret weapon: Charlie Munger! As great as Buffett is, Munger has greatly influenced his investment style and provides a 2nd pair of eyes when looking at investments. The duo is unmatched!

I think he may have a chance. Buffett wasn't a millionaire until around 30 y/o, at 30 million at around age 40 (200 million if you adjust that for inflation), 1 billion at around age 56 (3 billion if you account for inflation), and that's where I believe he took off to an even higher lever, at around 50 y/o.
The next Buffett, I don't think so . After losing 340 million dollars in three months by selling Netflix.

Ackman has been pretty good. He is totally lost in the technology sector though and has missed out on the continued rise there. His current fund is set up a bit more towards stability to appease pension investors it seems. The GGP call was his greatest and he has made some awesome hedges lately.

Google, Apple, and Microsoft should have been a core-holding for any stockpicker in the last decade. Then, you slowly build your portfolio with proven winners like Berkshire (Warren Buffett) and some big brand names with a strong moat... like McDonald's, Moody's, Standard and Poors, Bank of America etc. Investing in the stock market is not that difficult! Buy during a panic and stick to Blue-Chips with a big moat. Afterwards, save and repeat!

Have you watched his interview in the beginning of 20' pandemic with CNBC. "Hell is coming"... he said in a fearful voice and of course our baby buffet had a bet against the market which he didn't mention at the time of the interview. He made $ 2.6 billion dollars. Real buffet would never do that..

The fact that he runs a hedge fund means that he has to constantly value, buy and sell companies in order to attract new investors and (more importantly) not lose them. Buffett is in the game for long term value, Ackman for clients' fees.
