A humble man from Philly was determined to become rich. 30 years later, he built the best track record on Wall Street, making 30% a year for 30 years. Druckenmiller is perhaps the greatest trader ever. How did he do it?

There is a huge flaw in your theory that these traders who are super successful because in those day Market was pretty much like a poker game for selected few rich people and odds of winning is similar to that of winning a good hand in poker but with a huge advantage of having a good reputation so if a player has a good reputation then others rich people put their money with him and that's how George saros and others got rich.. it's not that they did technically analysis 😂😂😂.. it was luck and reputation.,.. and also a lot of company did not know what their actual value was.... Think about it... Ask your heross they could be fake tooo
What FINAiUS means?
$1 billion or 1 billion Pounds?
The truth is that everybody wants to be financially independent and live a better life. With savvy investing, an inexpensive lifestyle, and diligent budgeting, this is not difficult to do. I'm glad I realized early on that achieving financial freedom requires hard work.
Investment is a fabulous way to save money for the future as well as a way to generate passive income. Those who make poor mistakes early in life regret them later in life. But, if done alone, investing may be challenging and risky. For this reason, I suggest consulting experts for advice (financial advisors). The difficulty lies in effectively employing it, not just watching videos and reading investing books.
Sincerely, I'm moved by what you said. I have a sizable amount of money that I am willing to invest if given the appropriate knowledge and I am interested in investing. My greatest concern is losing money on a bad investment. I'm open to hearing your advice on how to make sensible investments as a result.
Please let me know how to contact your financial planner.

great video ! earned a new sub )
Awesome, thank you!
"Druckenmiller independently discovers that there is a dance between market fundamentals and price," really dude? Keep it professional.
Minute 20:09 Soros has a book on his hands. Does anyone knows the name of the book?
Nice documentary. But it is so stupid to show the spanish flag when talking about "leisure', while spain has been one of a few countries which went from median-low per capita income to high in the last 40 years. Anyway, I understand that wrong behaviour after spent many time in america. Generally speaking, americans are ignorant in many topics, but finance and markets. Avg american would fail to locate Rome in a map or to know whats the capital of sweden :)
Anyone from Philadelphia, who knows about financing knows this family and they are far from humble beginnings.
Ever since you started this channel, I’d hoped for a Druckenmiller episode. And again, you have delivered a fantastic precis. You really portrayed his primary strategy called, “Flight-to-Quality” very well. Stanley will be the first to tell you that his Billions were almost exclusively made in the most liquid security market on earth: the US Sovereign debt market i.e. off-the-run Govies/Treasuries. The haircuts on these are like 2% and the liquidity is as liquid as water. Very well done sir. Bravo!
Yeah, that is mostly why he could use leverage and concentration.
How do I buy calls on the success of your channel?
I'll sell you shares if we land a deal with Netflix. Haha
Considering time value we should be selling puts 😜
@@Finaius i'll buy too 😅
I also wanna long this channel. Full Margin baby🎉😂
Going to full port 😂😂😂😂
30% a year for 30 years? Holy crap. I wish I could have been an investor.
I wish he would have been my investor
+Robin Abernathy- You would have needed a minimum of $100K - $2Million to jump in. Could you have anted up? Lol.
@@243wayne1 Probably not. And even if I could it doesn't guarantee they would have accepted me.
@@robinabernathy2829 Oh, they'd be happy to take your money... Bill Ackman's buy in at Pershing Capital was $5 Million Dollars, and he can act like a loose cannon...
Fort Duquesne Capital yes, 30% return over 30 years but, for Quantum Fund he lost at least 3 billion's dollar in 2000 spring
He had far from a humble background. His father was my dads close friend. Tom Drunkenmiller, his father was a very smart and successful man. He talked to me often and was a mentor to me. Stanley is gifted. Amazing at what he does.
Maybe you knew of Tom Druck before the divorce with Anne, but after of which Stanley was certainly growing up modestly.

It's no shortcuts. It took a lot of hard work to get to where he is. He was good enough to become Soros's Protege and led Quantum fund. That's not a shortcut
Love how legendary investors ignore diversification.
That's the difference between traders vs financial advisors.
I'm 17 (not a legendary investor lol) but I literally don't hold more than 3 stocks at a time and have made roughly 70% roi since 2018. I think diversification is a poor idea since the more you diversify the more you are tied to the market making it harder to generate alpha. But your spot on interesting to see how many successful investors shy away from diversification.

@@trajanaurelian4113 This is riskier indeed , but it is what it is I guess lol .
What was your initial capital ?
Please stop using deepfakes or whatever generative technique you are using for those close-ups. It looks creepy and adds a level of insincerity to the exposition that doesn’t need to be there.
Ok BETA, ok 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼 😂😂😂
Never been this early before.

That's not what she said...
Next, a hockey player you never heard of, Wayne Gretzky.
Drunkenmiller is quite famous. Why would you never heard of him?
He is famous. Only people of no knowledge of Wall Street wouldn’t have heard of him
This channel is awesome, truly great work. I appreciate the effort that has been put into this content.
Yea agreed, compared to all the garbage on youtube.
I've heard about the $1 billion fortune George soros made shorting the British pound breaking the bank of England. What I didn't know was that Stanly Druckenmiller was the one guy who pitched it to him. What I've come to understand to be a successful trader/investor one has to be an eclectic trader/investor.
Not to mention a bunch of billionaire investor buddies so y'all can control the market. One billion causes the stock to go down then another buys it and the 2 split the profits, scamming the market 101.
@@greghenner4978
Very smart way of thinking. More money more power, and more control on the market.
Yes that’s why this is among the top of the 7 deadly sins list. Pursue of happiness at the expense of others
@bonete8780 😢😢😢😢😢
Yeah I was there that day in London during my university days. Soros broke Sterling and the bank of England 😅😂😂. 1st man I heard make the biggest money 💰 in one day ever. Back then it was incredible to believe this is possible
How about Bill Ackman?
Ofcourse Drukenmiller have beaten the markets the last decade. He uses leverage. And if he only bets on sure things then his roi would be almost guaranteed as well.
He never lost his clients money. There's something super special about Druck
Druckenmiller got out when ai and computer algorithms were about take over and he counted his chickens and left before bust!
Great video. His use of technical analysis and keeping all his eggs in one basket but watching them very closely continues to perform well for those implementing it.
Enjoyed that! Most people gave Soros all the credit for what was essentially Druckenmiller's genius.
😮😮😢
"Instead, he goes to a 'liberal arts college' in Main." Druckenmiller attended Bowdoin College, which is in the same league as Wellesley, Williams, Swarthmore, and other similar "little ivy" institutions.
Might I recommend a video on Raj Rajaratnam ?
Of course. Dude just got out of jail, right?
@@Finaius yes. He even wrote a book. Raj is a good story.
If we're going to go down the criminal route, why not Michael Milken and Ivan Boesky (the real life Gordon Gekko)? That would be a great story to bring into the modern era.
While editing this film, the market crashed, only making the lessons more relevant. I also made a 34-minute version just for pro traders - finaius.com/programs/druckenmiller-bio
“higher oil prices + strong $ + higher rates = lower earnings” thats some of what the market is anticipating currently
Might I recommend that u do a video on Raj Rajaratnam ?
How does buying short-term bonds become profitable when rising rates are typically bad for bonds?
@@eRockBrowser because you are betting that higher dollar and yields will cause crash, and crash means reversal of yields to down, which is good for price of bonds.problem is timing that reversal
That particular cocktail is happening right now as i comment Oil Up + Dollar Up + Interest Rates Up = Corporate Earnings Down
And stock market up
amazing documentary, your videos are the best.
THANK YOU!
So you don't like Reagan eh? I made a lot of money under him and we would be much better off if he were in the White House today

Druckenmiller “the man who broke the BOE in 92’.
Phenomenal, can you do Peter Lynch next, 29.2% while he was running Magellan Fund at Fidelity
It’s interesting to me that that’s presented like a stat on the back of a baseball card.
Did he inspired Bobby axelrod or something
When my roof leakes I need a constructor to repair it , so why is it so important that I never heard of this investor , he is totally worthless to me ! 😮
Thanks for taking my video suggestion great video as always. If you could continue talking about the leser known legends thatd be great. I'm a Aspiring stock broker or hedge fund manager these help alot. Even with my personal trading.

How The Medallion Fund sustained 66% p.a. for 30 years and generated $100 Billion. HAHAHA. Is 66% average per year better return better than 30% per year? HAHAHAHA
As a standalone investor Druckenmiller would outperform Jim Simons if they do a competition, instead of relying on an army of quants.
Almost 100k subs! Congrats on that you deserve every single one of them and more
Thank you !!!
Just discovered your channel. I love your content, really high quality documentary! I'd love to see Ray Dalio at some point as well :)
You’re stuff is awesome, man! I can’t imagine how much work goes into this, but wish you were able to pump them out all the time, lol! Keep it up!!

I admire that greed apparently didn’t totally consume the man. Making that kind of money can become an addiction. He had the sense to walk away from it for his happiness.
Rarity in real world
No joke. It will cause a heart attack
Diversification is selling the winners to buy the losers- Michael Saylor
Many, many people know who Stanley Druckenmiller is. If a person has followed Soros' career they will know who Druckenmiller is. You should change the title, it's obnoxious.
One note, Druckenmiller SHORTED Nasdaq in 99, also lost around 600 million USD from those shorts as far as I could recall.
He lost way more eventually.

Developments in decentralized finance (DeFi) are especially promising. With central banks signaling rate cuts, DeFi yields are becoming increasingly attractive as alternative investment forms. Additionally, new ecosystems and a new generation of protocols are introducing fresh financial primitives into the space.

Wow this is cinematic level quality. Good job. Can you also do one on Zhang Lei (Hillhouse) or Chase Coleman (Tiger)?
He worked FOR George Soros. They thought alike, but I hate to say it, Soros was Better and had to keep pulling Stan out of the Whole he put Soros in. So, its NOT ALL the time Winning.

Fantastic documentary! I read about Druckenmiller in 'Market Wizards'. I'll watch this again periodically.
Very well done again Rocky. "put all your eggs in one basket, and watch it very carefully" How can you not like Stanley Druckenmiller's approach? He is never afraid of size when he is sure of his convictions. Your FINAiUS videos always make me remember "how much fun education can be". Keep at it, the quality remains very high. "Go for the jugular on any trade" That is another great quote from George Soros too in this.
