Hi there ! Welcome to Tunisa guys
The bambalouni is not 10 dt , it's 1 dinar (as written behind the guy ;1000 millimes) 😊. enjoy your stay
Thank you for pointing that out! This was only our second day in Tunisia so we were still learning how to read the new currency format 😅 it was so delicious! 😋
@@SarahandMarek He also said if you don't have the change you can pay later
@@SarahandMarek and that is why he didnt want to take the money because probably he does not have enough change to give it back to you from 20dt and didnt wanna let you go without trying our delicious bambalouni
@@SarahandMarek What is Tunisia's relationship with Europe!!!? Why all this backwardness!!!!????
Tunisia is very underrated, it is a beautiful country with many beautiful Arab-style seaside towns. It's a perfect country to live in, the climate is fantastic, the food is delicious, the prices are low and the people are welcoming.
Nice video,a quick info though:
Sidi bousaid colors and architectrue are older than those in Greece ,in Tunisia generalizing blue around the whole town was initiated in 1907,while in Greece it was in 1938 according to most online sources.
Sidi bousaid architecture remains different with the Tunisian islamic arabo-berber touches
Other cities in Tunisia have their unique colors,in mahdia for instance they tend to use the color green,in zaghouan they use yellow
Each color has its own story and significance to the inhabitants of every area
Have a good day!
You may want to check your "online sources". Also this is not a competition, I don't see how the who came first is relevant in this instance?
❤❤
جاهلة هيدا و متخلف الي معها
Welcome to Tunisia 🇹🇳 first a taxi from Tunis center to Sidi bousaïd is around 10 Dinars, if you use bolt you pay more than the double, Bambalouni price is one dinar not 10 😅 and i think you didn't see much of Sidi bousaïd, there is a lot of hidden spots to see especially the best view from Café des délices!
I think after my recent Tunisia trip and your Tunisia trip the whole of South Africa should follow :)
They're going to Hammamet, they should check ur vids before
@@abdallahbenameur9835 Haha! Nah they will have their own itinerary and places of interest, that much I'm sure of!
We totally agree! Such an exciting and diverse country to explore 😄🇹🇳 glad you enjoyed your time there as well!
You guys should check my videos out too. I’m actually staying in Tunisia now, also a South African.
@@sunerennie ek gaan nou so bietjie loer :)
So glad you're enjoying Tunisia..a place not many people in SA, seem to b travel to.
We have really enjoyed our time exploring Tunisia! 😄🇹🇳 Would you consider visiting?
I’m from South Africa and this was my first country to start my travel journey through the Middle East and North Africa. Now Tunisia is my base from where I’ve been traveling from the past year…
Watched again with great pleasure Sarah & Marek! 👍 What a lot of views... Great! 😎
Hi Ferry 😄 so happy to hear you enjoyed our video! We are stoked with our Tunisia videos are doing so far 😁🇹🇳
Welcome to Tunisia .u must visit south of tunisia and discover sahara . you are always welcome here
Thank you! We visited the Sahara and it was AMAZING! 😍 More videos to come about all our Tunisia adventures 😁
You made us love this country even more!!!
Keep going you're doing a great job
That's so amazing to hear! Thank you for watching 😄🇹🇳
😂😂
Tunisa so nice food lovely , I’ve visited hammammet & hammamlif side bou said Tunis city La Goulette and lac of Tunis is beautiful lovely big shopping mall there thanks guys ❤🇹🇳
We really enjoyed exploring Tunisia 😄🇹🇳
Welcome to tunisia 🇹🇳
If you don't know how much food costs, you can ask random people on the street for help.
Bambalouni It is not 10 dinars, it is 1 dinar ☺️
And taxi from "tunis" to "sidi bou said" is around 10 Dinars ☺️
I hope you understand 😁
Have a nice day ❤️
Yeah sidi bou said is very touristy place and moreover very serene and spiritual city
We really enjoyed exploring Sidi Bou Said 🇹🇳😄
I wish you have a pleasant journey in our country and welcome you anytime and anywhere❤️🤍
Thank you so much 😄🇹🇳
Hi, it's not 10 dinars banbalouni but only 1 dinars that's cheap and that's why he offers it to you but we thank the seller because he was generous. for the coffee you can find coffee in sidi bou said cheap as in tunis, it depends of the category of the café
Haha yeah we were still learning how to read the prices ar that stage 😆 he was a really kind man 😊
I like the way how she was eating bambalouni hhhhhhh so sweet 🥰🥰
and the price of that is only 1 dinar not 10 dinar brother ,hopefully you will enjoy your holiday in tunisia
The Bambalouni was delicious! We would be happy to eat that every day! 🤤 Thank you for telling us! It was only our second day exploring Tunisia and we were still learning to read the Tunisian currency. Because of the extra 0 at the end of all the prices, at first we found it a bit confusing 😅
Your video is fun to watch 👍
It’s always interesting to see the country 🇹🇳through a foreigner’s eyes
Enjoy
Hi Jihed! Thanks for watching, we're so happy you enjoyed our video. It was so much fun to backpack through Tunisia 😄🇹🇳 we have a lot more videos to come 😁
Don't forget to visit El-Jem Palace 🇹🇳. You will like the place and you will have great photos 📸✨
U missed the zahra palace in sidi bousaid, u have to visit Carthage ruins before leaving to Hammamet - Nabeul.
When u are in Hammamet u may also visit Hawariya , Korbus and Dar selma in bouargoub while u are there .they are in the same state and not so far.

Thanks so much for all your recommendations 😄🙌🏼🇹🇳
Bambalouni is the best !! Glad you guys got to eat it for free too hhhh !
Welcome ! And I hope you have fun in Tunisia!
We LOVED the Bambolouni 🤤 thank you so much 😄🇹🇳
The Bambalouni guy didn't take the 20dt because i am sure he coudn't change it. It is not worth for him to change it because later on he will struggle with the next customers while payment. Not to mention his generosity and kindness for sure .. Welcome to Tunisia guys ☺
AIN DRAHAM !!!!!!! (a village on the the mountains middle in large green woods in North West Tunisia) Great video you guys made ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! We visited Ain Drahem and it was so beautiful 😍
I LOVE TUNISIA 🇹🇳🇹🇳❤️❤️
It's such a unique country 😄🇹🇳
Guys, you are very genuine and honest ! Thanks for your video! Despite the tough conditions you can see the generosity of people outhere! Welcome always!❤
I m happy to see people have fun in my country!! have a nice stay
welcome guys l hope that you're spending a good time here, a quick note you can wear whatever you want there is no dress code it's just because we consider this weather as cold here so feel free
Thank you so much 🥳
so awesome to watch you guys still! shine peeps!
Thanks so much Nicholas 😁🙌🏼
Hi welcome to Tunisia, I love the transparency of describing the country there are a lot of places to visit in Tunisia as a country you should explore Since you are in the north you should see (Benzart, Hawaria) then go to the west (Tabarka,Ain drahem ...) then come to Sahel (Mahdia, El Jamm) then go to the south (desert and Djerba) the thing in Tunisia you explore a hole pack of new places with different architecture and momentum in just some hours of transport.
Welcome to Tunisia so glad to have you ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much 😄🇹🇳
Loved seeing 👀 the beach and was salivating with the bamboulinis! Loved the white and blue relaxing architecture xxx
Thanks so much Rella! I would love to eat one of those Bambolounis every day 🤤 So glad you enjoyed the video 😁🇹🇳
@@SarahandMarek your food makes me dribble and salivate!! X ❤ X
Welcome to Tunisia! I hope you are having a wonderful trip. Please be cautious against scammers and make sure to negotiate prices. Enjoy your stay!
I came across your vlog about Sidi bousaid and it was interesting even though I’ve been there two times but here it was looking more beautiful … so thank you for sharing and hope you enjoy your stay in 🇹🇳 ❤

The algorithm's favored you guys 😂 And I'm grateful to it because you're such an absolute lovely couple! Enjoy the rest of your stay, wishing you all the best ❤
Aasslema o marhaba bikom fi Tunis ❤🇹🇳
So, out of *interest* , I've been reading all the comments, and I've observed that a lot of them were saying things like, "You missed a lot of areas and you comprehend the prices wrong, etc." 🤐
First, let me inform them that since they do not follow you on *Instagram* , they are unaware of all the places you have visited 😁 (Hey folks, the video doesn't cover all the stories 🤭).
Second, you mentioned that you like to *explore* the culture and that this was only your *second* day in Tunisia, they didn't pay much attention 🤔.
Personally, I enjoy being lost when simply strolling around a new location and discovering it on your own way. As Sarah described, it leads you to " *untouchable* "spots .This is *EXPLORING* !
Finally,I really,truly,deeply enjoy this video! 🥳
It was a real joy meeting you that day, and perhaps we'll cross paths again in Tunisia to see more of its beautiful corners 🥰.
I'm hoping it gets tidy by then! 😶🌫
Stay blessed, happy, and healthy 🤗🥰❣
Lovely Video. I enjoy your postive vibes. I hope you enjoy your stay in Tunisia 🇹🇳
Thank you! 😄 It was such a unique and exhilarating experience to backpack through Tunisia, we really enjoyed it 😁🇹🇳
Oh my goodness!!!! I love this so much. Thank you for sharing 😊.
Thank you for watching 😊
Welcome to Tunisia , Hope you enjoyed your trip
Thank you so much 😄🇹🇳 we really enjoyed exploring Tunisia! We have so many more videos to come 😁
Thank you for visiting Tunisia, I hope you are enjoying your stay ❤
A very beautiful place, its colors are close to a city in Morocco called Chefchaouen, and it is called the blue jewel because all its narrow alleys are dyed blue, the difference between it and the city of Sidi Bou Said, is that Chefchaouen in Morocco is a city located between the mountains, and Sidi Bou Said in Tunisia, overlooking the sea 🇹🇳❤🇲🇦
I am from Sidibousaïd the best time were the 60s-80s. My dad use to tell me how special we were. We represent Tunisia.
Hello , I just found this video and thank you for this amazing tour of my country. I live in La Marsa the place in which you stayed in this video and since i live i europe for studies i miss every inch of view you showed us in your amazing tour. Thank you for visiting and i hope you have a nice stay !
Hi Nabil 😄 we are stoked that you enjoyed our video 🇹🇳 we find it hard to put our experience in Tunisia into a few sentences when people ask about it. It is a very unique country to visit and we are really grateful we had the opportunity to experience it. I can definitely see why you would miss it so much ❤️🇹🇳
Hi from Cape Town. Stumbled across your video while doing research for a budget Tunisia trip in September. Can't wait to watch the rest :) Thanks guys!!
Hey Faatimah! Thank you so much for watching 😁 we have a budget travel guide about Tunisia that we will be releasing in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for that 🥳
Oh wow! Can’t wait 😊 hope it includes some hiking and camping. I really would like to do some adventuring. I saw your video about Kerkennah- did you consider the islands Zembra or Zembretta ?
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Felt like I was there with you. 🤗 Such friendly citizens.
Ah yay! So happy you enjoyed our video Mammer 🥰 Tunisians are some of the friendliest and warm hearted people we have ever met ❤️🇹🇳

Love this guys!
Thank you! 😁🇹🇳
Glad you're enjoying your trip here!
I live in Hammamet so i can't wait to see your experience there !
Thank you for the amazing videos welcome to you in Tunisia ♥️♥️♥️
It is the magic of Tunisia that brings you without realizing it, and then you return to it every holiday and feel that you did not know anything about it because it is culturally diverse from the far north to the far south, and what inspires me personally in my country, Tunisia, is in the southwest the Douz International Horse and Folk Dance Festival in the oases and the desert. Tozeur, the rocky mountains, the ancient city, the Roman swimming pool in Gafsa, the cradle of civilizations, and the third mosaic in the world, the Qapsian civilization..😊😊😊
love to see my country through other people's eyes
مرحبا بكم في تونس انها جميله جدا وانا متاكد سوف تحبونها هنالك الكثير من الاماكن الجميله والرائعه جدا. وسكانها طيبون جدا. اتمنى لكم رحله ممتازه
Stunning 😮😮 great video
Thanks so much Courts 🥰
Beautiful. Loved your video😊
Thank you! 🥰
Guys it looks beautiful 👌🏼
Thanks Michael 😁
I wouldn't go to Tunisia again even if you paid me. Last time I went, I saw so much discrimination in service quality depending on how you look and where you are from. And because we were from a neighbouring country, they felt like they were permitted to treat us like nothing, whereas, if you are or look european, you will be treated with respect and smiles.and mind you, this was not just one or two places where we experienced this discrimination and hateful treatment, it was literally EVERYWHERE. I honestly was so disappointed in Tunisians, and would not want to go back there at all. There are so many other beautiful places and warm people to visit that I encourage everyone to do rather than paying your money in a ungratful place / society !
This is the reason why I would never go to Tunisia, you confirm once again this obsequious attitude of Tunisians towards the white man that many non-tunisians mention
Vous vous êtes indésirables ici en Tunisie on veut pas de vous les abrutis minables vive la Tunisie
Vive la Tunisie Farid de Tunis Tunisie bab lakwess
You're so welcome in Tunisia 😊😊 I liked your videos
thanx for sharing, you are funny and nice, hope you'll find ppl like you on your road.
Thank you so much ☺️
You guys enjoy! I reckon the Bambaloni was 1 Dinar tho not 10 like you guys havs said that's why he didn't bother taking your money it's probably because he didn't have any change on him. I don't know how long you're staying but I would highly recommend you guys visit Monastir and you'd experience more of that peace and serenity.
LOVELY CONTRY I LIKED 😍
Enjoy your travel guys and hope soon for you 100K . Greetings from Tunisia

I live very close to that location, now I'm inticed to go get some bambalouni or cook my own! You guys are lovely have fun!
You guys are soo cool
I hope you having nice time in tunisia
There is allot of places that are amazing in tunisia
You need more time to visit the amazing hidden places
Thank you com for this
Yes it is a County requirement for houses to be white and Blue in Sidi Bou Said and to be entertained and painted periodically...etc
You should visit tunisia in every season lol: we have beaches , mountains, snow , desert,A lot of places to go! have a day in kerkennah its easy to go there and its beautiful(especially during summer) and a lot to eat there

Haha yes we are proudly South African 😁🇿🇦
@@SarahandMarek you are welcome any way
thanks for giving good feedback to my country , Tunisia is beautiful but most of the citizens suffering because of the bad management
enjoy guys by the good weather and you can visit Tabarka to enjoy by the nature or in the south by the desert you are welcome ...
A couple decades ago, we were strongly envied by Morocco for our excellent Management skills. Fully functional institutions and hard working population. It's not a "Management" issue, the crisis runs much much deeper than that.
it's Ennahda and Co and all the cockroaches after 2011 that have ruined the image and country. They want to be "Arab" . When Tunisia enjoyed the Mediterranean reputation, really it was transformed after 2011. into Arab,Arab,Arab, the female mayor of Tunis wanted to change al signs and bords in Arabic language , this was one of her first plans. (she belongs to this terror scum political party Ennahda) Not to only this political party ,but others as wel that after 2011 came crawling from the seweges. The aftermath is that today's "president" also a Arabist is the result of this Arabized agenda since 2011. The soon we get rid of this garbage politicians and Tunisia is governed by true Tunisians competent we will advance and progress in al fields.
Tabarka is ruined , I'm from that region, in the 90 it was wonderful even after 2000 but nowadays it's really sad to see how they destroyed everything. Tabarka Jazz festival ❤️❤️❤️ Candy Dulfer
@@alphachief6085 How so? Deteriorating infrastructure or what do you mean exactly?
@@mouath_14 yes infra , and services , even population growth of you take it in account , more "youth" demographics and neighbouring country "youth" ruined the place. Tabarka should be as it was tranquility. Eco tourism , Eco Design , and diving sport, outdoor sports, sailing sport , culture festivals like Tabarka Jazz. It transformed in a bierhaus 🤣🤣🤣
Birdwatching is amazing as well. The beaches are nice, the history and the nature is amazing. There is a red rose that smells so beautiful. Its called the Arabic rose.
Ah lovely, so beautiful and so much quieter.
It was such a lovely little town to visit 😍🇹🇳
good to see u enjoying our countray guys
It's so interesting/fun seeing Tunisia from other travelers' perspective. Such a beautiful country with incredible people. If you guys venture north of Tunis into Bizerte, they have a Lablabi sandwich. If I recall correctly, it's the only place in Tunisia that has a different spin on Lablabi. A local can correct me if I'm wrong. But regardless, the sandwich is super good if you get a chance to try it.
Correct !
@@moez8381 Ah, perfect. Thanks for confirming! 🙏
They should taste mlawi or makloub
@@cannon400 Definitely. Also, Keftaji or Ojja. But if I'm being honest, literally, everything I've tried in Tunisia was incredibly delicious. I'm not exaggerating. Every country I go to has delicious food, for the most part. But I'm always able to find a few dishes I wouldn't want to try again. But in Tunisia, I haven't found that dish yet.
@@that_one_traveler glad to hear that ❤️

You guys are so welcomed in tunisa i hope that you spend a great time there and a quick note : Tunisians love and respect any tourism, they arent racist or toxic + its so safe there that you can sleep on the floor holding 1 million dollars and when you wake up ull find it there.

Thank you 😄🇹🇳
nice video Guys ❤💜💙
Hello there, i hope you've spend a cool time in tunisia, you're always welcome!!
Prices in Tunisia depend on where you are . Generally things in the city are cheaper because people go there to run errands and for work mostly . In sidi bou said , marsa , Les berges du lac , maybe even menzah /Ariana things tend to be more expensive . It also depends on the specific coffeeshop or restaurant you're buying from .
It does look really great. A trip to Tunisia is on our radar, but not yet planned. We do love Greece, but we see the argument. Subed to follow along with your adventure. We are planning a lot of travel over the next 2 years and a World tour starting in 2025. Think we are likeminded and you might like our new channel. Cheers and have a great year.
Merci 😊
You both are so wlcm to TN ^^
