I watched so many tutorials and ran into your video. You have showed me in a easy simple way how to crochet a bucket hat. I have made a blue bucket crochet hat. Thank you so much. I will be subscribed to your channel and making more beautiful creations.
So happy I found this tutorial! This bucket hat turns out so well because of the working in the rounds. All of the others I tried with the flat top turn out so funny shaped. I frogged 2 hats and was about to give up until I found this. Thanks for this! Saved, liked & bookmarked!
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen for a bucket hat. I’ve watched many but your instructions are so clear and easy to follow! Thank you for sharing your work. 😊
Thanks for the detailed instructions. I made this adorable bucket hat. Love the shape of the hat, Rounds 1 through 16 and single crochet 16 through 28. Note: for my petite head I stopped at Round 23 vs Round 28. For the brim I stopped at round 10 for a fall/winter hat. I will work the brim in the future all 12 rounds for spring/summer. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn which held the shape nicely for a fall hat. Love your instructions.🥰
This is a really clear, interesting video without any music spoiling the instructions! Thank you so much for such a great tutorial which I think is the best I’ve seen on here!
I started my hat yesterday am now done with it ,this is the easiest tutorial have ever seen here when it comes to crochet the bucket hat thanks dear for sharing continue share with us other videos about crocheting
I made this hat and I love it. I followed your video and took my time doing each row perfectly. I will be crocheting these in many colors. I also made crochet flowers they look like shape of daisy. Do you crochet these are have you seen video? The lady explains step by step it's a puffy flower it's called. I make flowers in different colors and sizes. I found a video on you tube and they fit perfectly on this hat. I am glad to find your channel I am a subscriber.
Hi - lovely hat and your tutorial was fantastic - quick question - to avoid a back seam could this hat be crocheted in the round without the "slip stitch" join?
I have already unsuccessfully tried three other bucket hat patterns. I want to give yours a go but when you say 4 ply with a 4.25mm hook, I am pretty sure that it will not be the kind of 4 ply we use in Australia. 4 ply is quite thin and would not be suitable for this hat nor the hook you are using. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide more details - even a gauge would help. Thank you.
I hope you like this pattern. So I looked it up and It looks like 4 ply yarn is compared to 10 ply yarn in Australia. The yarn I used is not thin and it is suitable for 5 mm hook or 5.5 mm hook. 😊💖💖
Does look more like an 8ply yarn for New Zealand and Australia. I have done this pattern with 8ply acrylic and a 4mm hook. Hope that helps. You can put a wire or thick plastic tube in last single crochet row f the brim to stop it flopping.
Same for the UK, I was thinking 4 ply would be too thin for the hook size, also a 4.25 hook isn't a standard size here, 4 or 4.5. anyway, most other hat patterns call for worsted or UK aran
This is a beautiful hat and I just started working on it. Your instructions are very clear. I have plenty of yarn for this project, but just for the record, how many ounces or meters of yarn are required?
I mentioned the hook size (4.25mm to 4.5mm) in the beginning of the video and talked about the yarn I used but forgot to mention the amount of yards you will need ( 130-150yards of yarn.) I hope this helps 🤗💕
This is the best tutorial I have watched, especially with the stitch total for each round mentioned :) I am somewhat new and I know this pattern was mentioned for a 21 inch circumference head, what would be the best recommendation to upscale this to 27 inches? I am not sure if it would be to continue with the increase after round 14, then go into the slight increase that Round 15 does after a few added rounds, but that was my thought.
I've followed the instructions as presented, however, the crown of my hat is curling a bit around Row 13. Is this normal? I'm just wondering if I missed adding a stitch to the new row someplace or need to tear out and start again.
Try to count your stitches. For round 13, you should have 72 scs. If you have 72 scs, don’t worry if it’s curling. It could be from the yarn you are using. However, if your stitch count is different for round 13, try to see which round you need to redo. I hope this helps💕💕
You can save this video in the section right at the bottom of the video. You will see a like dislike, share, remix, clip, download and then there should be one that says save. Click on that and save it to a playlist thats called watch later or create a new playlist with your own title. I hope this helps 🤗❤️❤️
Can someone reading this tell me how to make it for a smaller woman’s head? Mine is only 19 inches around and I don’t wanna get lost in the hat. Please help!
I would follow along for 11 rounds. Stop with increasing rounds. Rounds 12 - 21 should be 1 single crochet around (64 single crochets) Then skip until the bream. I hope this helps 🤗
How impressive!!! Bravo on your creation and subscribers👍👍👍👍
Thank you for sharing your talent.

Hi - lovely hat and your tutorial was fantastic - quick question - to avoid a back seam could this hat be crocheted in the round without the "slip stitch" join?
Hi! Yes, you can.Just use a stitch marker. It will be easier to see the rounds. Thank you so much 😊 💕💕
Brilliant excellent! I have a small head only 19 inches around could you tell me how many rows you think I should be doing so that it’s not too big?
Thank you 😊
See your other comment. I answered your question. I hope it helps 😊💕💕

Thank you! Glad you like it 🤗❤️❤️
Just curious, do you have a stitch count for the brim, rows 1 - 12? Loving this pattern, thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome! 🤗
Stitch count for the brim:
Rounds 1-6 (104)
Rounds 7-12 (130)
I hope this helps 💕💕
Thank you!!
💖
Thanks for the tutorial. I was wondering if you could make the ruffled hat instead of the brim?
You read my mind!! I’ve been wanting to try it and if it works out, I’ll make a video tutorial. Thank you 🤗❤️❤️
I will be patiently waiting
Yes 🙌 sounds good 😊
Excellent instructions. But it would help if the rows were written on the screen also

Be lovely in cotton as ones head can perspire
True!! I’m thinking of making a new tutorial using cotton yarn!
Would love if you mentioned the size hook and approximately how much yarn is used for your project otherwise very easy to follow video

Hi. Yes you can double up on the yarn. Just keep trying on the hat as you crochet to see how you like the fit. I hope this helps 🤗💕💕

Can i use dk 8ply yarn
You can but the size of the hat will be different. Just try it on as you crochet and if you need to make adjustments, do it as you crochet it! ❤️
Thanks
Very pretty ❣️ Thank you for sharing this pattern ! 😍
Thank you! Im glad you like it 😍
This was soooo good! But my brim curls in! Any tips for that?
Try using cotton yarn
Crochet loosely or
Use steam to block it
I hope these tips help you! I’m glad you like the tutorial 😊💕💕

What is the equivalent yarn for Australia please?
I looked it up and it said 10 ply. I hope this helps ☺️💕💕
Thanks love it

What age would this hat fit?
This is an adult size hat but I’m sure it will fit kids too. ❤️
Can someone reading this tell me how to make it for a smaller woman’s head? Mine is only 19 inches around and I don’t wanna get lost in the hat. Please help!
I would follow along for 11 rounds. Stop with increasing rounds.
Rounds 12 - 21 should be 1 single crochet around (64 single crochets)
Then skip until the bream.
I hope this helps 🤗
@@KatiaCreates thank you
How much yarn o you need?
I used about 130 yards.
Sizing?
The size of this hat is for head circumference of 21 inches. If you use acrylic yarn, the hat will have a slight stretch. I hope this helps 😊
@@KatiaCreates What size is your hook and yarn please?
I used number 4 medium weight yarn with a 4.25mm hook
I don’t know why you slip stitch and chain at the end of a row I always end up with too many stitches why can you not just carry on just going round
You absolutely can if you want.
@@KatiaCreatesthank you for your help xx
