I used 3mm yarn because i didn't like the outcome of the 5mm yarn since i didn't have a 4mm, but yeah it did make a big difference but I still like the look of my 3mm crocheted yarn hehe looks detailed but kinda too much work
What does the "2next round" for row 17 mean? Is it 1 dc in each st for 2 rows (17-18)? But then the white row is row 18. I'm confused. Thank you for the pattern though! ❤
Typically this happens when the stitches are too tight. If you’re already finished with the piece you could try blocking it (soaking it in water and laying it out flat to dry) to see if that loosens the material a little. But otherwise try adjusting your tension while crocheting to make looser stitches.
Started this hat already but im not clear on what exactly the increase is on row 3. Im not a novice but the on screen directions aren't clear and no stitch count.
Haiii, hope I can help. R3 : (inc (increase), dc1 (double crochet1)) rep (repeat) It mean you keep repeating this process : increase (double crochet 2 times in 1stitch/same stitch), double crochet 1 stitch and repeat the process = inc, dc1, inc, dc1 and go in till the end R4 : (inc, dc2) rep So for this round : increase, double crochet at 2 stitch So it look like this : inc, dc, dc, inc, dc, dc, inc, dc,dc and rep till the end
Im struggling with it too, but I already understand the instructions after try and error, for those who don’t understand: Inc- you make 2 dc in 1 stitch 2 dc - you make 1 dc in 1 stitch (2x) and after that (dc2) you repeat inc (2 dc in 1 stitch) Same goes for dc3 (1 dc in 1 stitch for 3x), dc9 etc. Hopefully this can help u, goodluck😊
I love this pattern I only wish as a beginner that you could explain the dc4 or dc3 did that mean to put 3dc in one stitch I really can’t tell but. For the most part it was easy to follow
Dc= double crochet, sc= single crochet, tr= treble crochet , YO= yarn over, increase = 2 double crochet in same stitch, sk= skip , 2tog= together , sl st =slip stitch , sp= space , Ch= chain, ch1= chain 1, ch2= chain 2, beg= begin, Dec= decrease , lp(s) = loops, Cl=cluster, rep= repeat, rnd= round ( for example round 1, round 2 ) , rs= right side, st= stitch, pc= popcorn, rem= remaining , ws= wrong side
Dang I was doing single crochet increases 🤦♀️

I wish there was voice instructions as well. It's too fast for this old lady to read the insttuctions

Wish you would put a stitch count at the end of each row would make it a little bit easier. Can't figure out where im going wrong.
So sorry... I figured it out and absolutely love it! Thank you for sharing ❤
It would be nice if you talked as over voice. Nice hat 👒

Wow, thank you!🥰💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🩷🩷🩷🩷
Best tutorial, thank you so much ✨
just finished mine. I used a 5 ply milk cotton yarn. The number of stitches are the same as in the video but it's too small for an adult hat. 🧐
You probably did not use the right yarn, use a thicker yarn.🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙
same 😅 ill just give this to my niece.. haha.. infairness its so cutee...
I just made this and yes, too small for me too.
What hook size are u using?
Perfect,thank you it’s very clear

How did you do row 6?
Did you have to inc after every 5 stch?
That was easy. You can look carefully,so that u can also make a nice one☺
Yeah
Hello! Can you make a tutorial wherein the size is adjustable
You can just repeat the R7 as per your size, for me i did R7-R14 dc
Wow that's awesome ♥️
when im crocheting its curling up may i know what i should do to prevent that?
Very good can understand very well. Thank u so much god bless u

Its cotton yarn
Nice one
I AGREE SHE NAILED IT
Turned out nice and cute thanks😊!
Thank you!
Welcome!🙏🙏💙💙💙
What if I use a 3mm or a 5mm hook? It'll have a big difference right?
I used 3mm yarn because i didn't like the outcome of the 5mm yarn since i didn't have a 4mm, but yeah it did make a big difference but I still like the look of my 3mm crocheted yarn hehe looks detailed but kinda too much work
Should I double the number of stiches of I'll use a 3mm hook?
@@DanielaCruz-ef7ql you should, I did for mine is 11 rows for the top then 10 downwards
Thank youu

For 5yr old grl how many dc have to put 😊
What size yarn is recommended for this hat. Can I use 4ply?
It's a realy nice hat, only it was to small for my head. It was more a size for children 😅
Try with yarn and hook 5 mm🙏🙏🙏
If i do more rounds will it make it bigger?
Same, I just gave it to my daughter. I'll do another one with yarn like hers!
Yes@@Phonesareweapons
Can i use dk cotton and acryllic yarm
Would this still work if i used slightly thicker wool? Im a begginer too
It can be crocheted with 4.5 to 5 mm yarn🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙
@@Wb.crochet thank you 🩷 would you also be able to knit this too?
yarn recommendation please? i made one, but it only fits babies 😂
Use 4 mm yarn and hook, it was said in the beginning of the video, probably the size of your yarn and hook is not correct.🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love it
Why doesn't it say how many stiches there are in R3 and beyond?
What does the "2next round" for row 17 mean? Is it 1 dc in each st for 2 rows (17-18)? But then the white row is row 18. I'm confused.
Thank you for the pattern though! ❤
You are right, it was my mistake,
white row is row 19.sorry.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙
18 stichis and 1 dc for 2 rows
@@Wb.crochetlove the pattern but this definitely tripped me, thank you for the helpp
I followed but why mine is different 😭😭❗
How to crochet brim to a hat?
Nice! But its so small.
You probably didn't use the right size of yarn, use a thicker yarn, my dear🙏🙏💙💙💙💙💙
Why does mine roll and not become a hat when making the circle? Please someone answer me
same I don't know
Typically this happens when the stitches are too tight. If you’re already finished with the piece you could try blocking it (soaking it in water and laying it out flat to dry) to see if that loosens the material a little. But otherwise try adjusting your tension while crocheting to make looser stitches.
Please where did you get your wool and hook
Just done mine, it's too small for an adult. Have to redo it 😢
Oh yeah, i followed it exactly and it was a perfect fit for my 8 year old!
Started this hat already but im not clear on what exactly the increase is on row 3. Im not a novice but the on screen directions aren't clear and no stitch count.
Haiii, hope I can help.
R3 : (inc (increase), dc1 (double crochet1)) rep (repeat)
It mean you keep repeating this process : increase (double crochet 2 times in 1stitch/same stitch), double crochet 1 stitch and repeat the process = inc, dc1, inc, dc1 and go in till the end
R4 : (inc, dc2) rep
So for this round : increase, double crochet at 2 stitch
So it look like this : inc, dc, dc, inc, dc, dc, inc, dc,dc and rep till the end
I don't understand the inc, dc3 in row 5
I used 5mm hook it came out too big😭😭
😕😕😕😕💙💙💙💙
How can I make the size more bigger?
U can make it bigger by adding an 8th row or 9th and then making one dc in each st,you can make the 7th row and increase round as well
Hope that helps
Do you need to measure measure the head
How can I make this hat smaller
Use 2, 5 or 3 m yarns🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙
May I know how much diameter will come at 7 raw?
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi, may I know what size hook you are using 😊
3,5 m m 🙏🙏🙏🙏💙💙
2next round - please explain 13:24
Sorry, about typo.
is 3mm size yarn suitable for this?please reply 😢
4mm
Im struggling with it too, but I already understand the instructions after try and error, for those who don’t understand:
Inc- you make 2 dc in 1 stitch
2 dc - you make 1 dc in 1 stitch (2x) and after that (dc2) you repeat inc (2 dc in 1 stitch)
Same goes for dc3 (1 dc in 1 stitch for 3x), dc9 etc. Hopefully this can help u, goodluck😊
inc mean increase?
How much yarn is needed to knit this?
۱wool
Instructions not clear! Please write that instruction that we can understand . Also need to explain slow , thanks
Slow down the video in your settings
What kind of yarn is this?
In the beginning it said its an aran or size 4 acrylic yarn.
Acrylic yarn
I used cotton yarn sugar & cream it’s came out small 😭
Probably, the size of the yarn is not right my dear, use a thicker thread🙏🙏🙏🙏
It ain't the yarn, the dimensions are for a small hat
how to add the size
You have to just add more rows so like if the last one you did was inc dc 4 then you do inc dc 5 does that make sense?
8:15
Sorry.. row 4
I fonot get it
Guys what happened in row 6?😢
I love this pattern I only wish as a beginner that you could explain the dc4 or dc3 did that mean to put 3dc in one stitch I really can’t tell but. For the most part it was easy to follow
(Dc3,inc)=
Dc3 mean: 3regular double crochet
Inc:2double crochet in one stitch
🙏🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙

It’s not explanatory at all
Um if you look at the bottom of the video and know the lingo for crochet it is very explanatory 😊
I had no problem in watching the video, I can understand the Lingo.
I have made it and it’s way too small! More like a kids size!
You probably did not choose the right yarn size, my dear, try again with a thicker yarn🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙
I spent more than 4 hours making this for an adult friend only for it to come out so small in the end😭 my time was wasted
You must not have used the right yarn, my dear😕🙏🙏🙏
I had the same issue once! It was not the tutorial's fault though, it was my hook size for me. Did you use the right hook size? :-)
Nevermind... I used the same tutorial last time and it worked perfectly fine for me?? Now it's small as well >_>
Why are you so fast there are beginners here. ☹️
U can slow down the video in ur settings lol
