    1:31. I think that house would be much better if it was clad in Vinyl Siding.

    If I want to live more quietly but not so far from the city, which is better: germantown or east nashville? Thanks

      @thatnashvillelife  Рік тому +1

      Good question. They’re both close to downtown. East Nashville is bigger so you could probably find more quieter options there as there are a lot more neighborhoods to choose from.

      East Nashville. Germantown is so busy!

      East Nashville for sure. Germantown is right next to the sewage treatment plant and smells like shit. Plus it really isn't safe IMO, I worked there for a couple years and there were like 2 or 3 armed robberies on the block I worked on. Parts of East Nashville are the same way(Edgefield is right next door to the projects). Maybe I'm just out of the loop and East Nashville is safer than it was 10 years ago, I know almost all of it has been gentrified beyond recognition(especially Cleveland Park in the past 10 years, that used to be one of the worst hoods in town)

    You must not be from Nashville. I thought this would be more comprehensive but seems more for clicks. You didn't even tell the audience to avoid the original Nashville heaux stroll down Dickerson Pike. That was our Vegas strip.. you could pickup whatever you liked down that road in the 80's and 90's. Nowadays, they've attempted to gentrify the area, but it's still got some stragglers. You're subject to catch the Mayor cruising by late night around there. I'm from the Trinity Ln and Dickerson Pike area, so I know all the stories. You folks need to ask locals who are from the area, about the area. The real deal information. Things to help you not get mugged, etc. You need to know where you're at..

      Thanks for your comment. I’ve been in Nashville since 1998.

      As a native of East Nashville for 35 years, I attempt to disenfranchise Trinity Lane and “Dick Road” with East Nashville. That area is like illegitimate unwanted love child of East and North Nashville.😒😒

      @@Juggalojoe615 what was the name of the fried fish sandwich place I used to love so much? Right there at the gas station/market just before Ellington Pkwy.

    The title of this video made no sense. It should have been 5 things that are cool about East Nashville or 5 things I like about East Nashville.

    It is great area for old, really cool homes, but the tall-skinny's suck. There's no other way to say it. No character, in a city filled with terrific neighborhoods. Some neighborhoods, The Nations comes to mind, are littered with tall-skinny's. Far more than East Nashville. The vid is a bit facetious because who doesn't like grand old homes, great restaurants, green spaces, or nice people? It's amazing the transformation of East Nashville since the 90's, where it was a "no-go zone" for many people. Here's a legit reason why East Nashville may not be someone's cup of tea. The area is very Left Wing politically. For someone like myself, I don't care if someone wants to fly their Pride Flag or not vote the same way I do. This is America and you do you, but a lot of people want to live around "like-minded" people.

      This left wing agenda must be from the transplants because I lived in East Nashville my entire life and never once felt that type of agenda. I will say that the East Nashville demographics are becoming a bit more conservative but I see pride flags all over. Recently, the old Bill Martins was converted into a gay club.

      Yeah after gentrification pushed many of the locals out, everybody flies their flags. Nothing makes people fell moreso guilt free than puttin up their victim banner as they help create a rent crisis and unaffordable homes. You should see all the blm signs in the yards of whts with 250k plus homes in the area.
