i like drums when you clean em up good and paint them with heat resistant paint a nice contrasting colour.just a 73 year old owner of a 87 hardbody with a diesel and 5 speed .

If you use the OE rear disc brake setup from a 89-95 pathfinder you don’t have to hack up anything and it all bolts on. Retains a parking brake too.
so 89 to 95 pathfinder rear disc brake setup will be a direct fir on my 95 nissan pickup xe

I used the master cylinder, axles, backing plates, calipers and rotors from a 93 pathfinder for my swap. This was on an 86 hardbody 4x4 with an H233B rear axle.

I wish I had the z32 calipers. I just have willwood. It was a pain in the ass but it's so much fun to drive and you definitely feel the difference.

Line Lock might be the answer for park brake

Great videos guys, I do have a question, I recently purchased a Datsun 620 that came with front disk brake upgrade from a Nissan Hardbody, but the rear still has drum brakes that I would like to upgrade to disk brakes in the back as well to match the front end. However, the truck was actually converted from 6 lug to 5 lug (5 X 114.3) bolt pattern. Is there an option for rear bakes with the same bolt pattern from a Nissan vehicle or do I have to mix and match sort of like what ya'll did in the video? Thanks!

Where did you get or who makes those 6 lug to 5 lug pattern wheel spacers? There are so few aftermarket wheels available in the factory 6 lug Nissan pattern. 😟

Hi guys, I've got a 89 D21, SE, king cab, 4x4. Got the brackets from Beeboni off ebay. The brackets fit, but the rotor center hole is too small and the calipers don't center over the rotor. Got 90 Trooper and rotors. Can't find contact info for Beeboni.
Please help. This is my work truck.

The red truck is on leaf springs still. So im not sure what part you are talking about.

Since you didn’t mention the safety side outside of a missing parking brake in the video, I’m gonna mention it. 😉
No parking brake also means no panic brake in the event of main brake failure. So, if the main brakes fail with this conversion, the only way to stop is to hit something solid. Hopefully a tree, pole, rock, a parked vehicle.... and not another human being. Just an FYI. 🙂

All factory z32 brakes are aluminum. Only factory ones! That's why everyone wants that $$$$$$$$$$ Nissan quit producing aluminum replacements after the 90s! The twin turbo car brakes are bigger!!!!!!
