I love this series
@1:30 and this is why developers are damned if they do, damned if they don’t. I guarantee you people would have complained if this feature was left out, but there are still those complaining about it being in this game.
You cannot touch wheels in real life in Sprint cars. If you do, you crash hard and sometimes flip. I’ve seen it routinely, even in midgets. And believe it or not, it happens quite often.
This is why developers never make a truly realistic game. Some people want this stuff, while others don’t. They can’t please everyone and try to meet in the middle.
At least they give you the option to turn it off (which you did).

you should turn on strict yellows, they don’t call them that much honestly, i play with strict yellows and it’s only 2-4 yellows a race and i have the incident frequency up to 70

No they’re npcs, but I have noticed they drive sooo much faster in championship than quick races. Just not as wreckless as real people are in mulitplayer

I like that they have wheel to wheel contact but it could've been done better than instant flips... same goes for the lack of damage like what the 2002 game had.
I think they did that just cuz the contact is so extreme. I have better luck racing online at least they slide up the track unlike ai
There is a slider that you can adjust for wheel to wheel contact. This jc guy is just a nascar shill that wants to hate on this game.
Go watch a sprint car race do you think people can touch tires constantly?
