It was a masterpiece to watch and the emotion in the voice actors is phenominal. I normally don't cry at movies, but the absolute agony that the voice actors were able to give in their performance really made me tear up. (I prefer the Japanese subtitles over the English dubbing, it has so much more emotion to it in my opinion.) Good video, completely agree with every single point to show that The Emoji movie, despite having been released several years ago is truly , is a masterpiece.
Let me tell you right now... the use of light and color in west side story and the heart of belfast is extraordinary to me
West side story has some of the worst colour grading in cinema this year, some cool PD but that's to be expected of its budget
I really liked the suicide squad, I think this is the first time my favorite movie of the year was a superhero movie
LET'S GO KARSTEN! TITANE HELL YES YES YES YES YES!!!!! Took the Biggest W with this one! have a great new year
I was hoping The Last Duel would make it here, it’s one of my favorites
Thanks for including Army of the Dead and Don't Look Up
I always love watching these videos and learning the opinion of an actual film kid. As someone who is just a fan of movies and Has no experience with film school and not typically drawn to indie movies. Licorice Pizza was my favorite of the year!!
Best New Years Eve gift! I discovered the account this year and it has helped me discover more about cinema. I appreciate all the effort you put in your videos. Sending the best wishes for 2022.
I'm actually so upset that you loved your moviegoing experience with Dune because my experience was completely ruined by children making noises and talking loudly behind me and a horrible woman literally on a discord call infront of me
you're upset because he enjoyed himself because you didnt? you're either 5 or Arthur Fleck...
@@andrewperlmutter8148 not at all. I am upset that my watching experience was ruined by those around me. I loved the movie but wish my experience could have been better
@@Ddddddddddd381I empathize with you, some people don't deserve to see a movie in a theatre haha selfish, ignorant and rude of them!
Phone calls + kids is a horrible combination
thank god you included every Love, Death & Robots episode on this list!
Titane is my favorite movie all time. I can't believe but I am so happy about it, that's for sure.
Matrix resurrections on top 20. Would love to know your thoughts about it because everyone seems just hating it.. Btw I really like the film.
I heard so much bad shit about it and I personally didn’t hate the movie but definitely not in my top 20
Absolutely loved the movie. Very interesting how it’s so polarising

Omg I have eczema on my eyelid & forehead and I kid you not out of all of the expensive prescription creams I’ve tried the best one I’ve had I bought at the dollar tree. It works the best for my face. All the prescribed ones I’ve had have irritated it in some way. It’s called Assured Eczema Cream, and sometimes they have another name on the box but it’s exactly the same. highly recommend! (also I love your videos haha!)
THE HAND OF GOD! Literally masterpiece

1. Tick, Tick… Boom
I cried so much to tick tick boom on first watch, didn’t think a musical would hit that hard. But that last act had me sobbing.
Hope Matrix 4 isn't on your top 20, but if it is I'd like to hear your thoughts on it
Welp, I guess I won't hear your opinion lol
*laughs as it's in the top 20*
My favourite was probably Don't Look Up, but Bo Burnham's Inside (yes that released this year), The French Dispatch, No Time To Die and No Way Home were all amazing.
Not the most exciting favourite movies list, but man it's been a decent year for movies
I really appreciate red rocket getting number 2 here

Hand of god is easily #1
Before clicking on the video I know spider man won't make it into the list and Im still gonna be sad afterwards
I am sure he didn't like it, but even if he did, he would have never put it in the top 20 because he is too pretentious for that
