Random question - how do you get rid of the blank default template for your objects? When you have a template it only shows one tempalte for you, when I have a template it shows two templates - blank and the one I've created. I've set the one I created to be the default, but would be good to be able to hide the blank one as I don't need it. When I click on the three dots in the corner I only see "set as default" and "duplicate"
You probably found this by now (very sorry for the late reply), but YES. You can add objects to collections by 'linking' them from for example the graph view. I right click the collection -> link to object -> choose the existing object and it should appear in your collection. If you do it vice versa, you get the two-way arrow in the graph view.
Hi. So, are these relations you've made for specific collection located in the specific 'root' page (Dashboard) seen in other 'root' pages like Start and/or all its 'childs'? Cause previously it was so. I mean, if I created 'Alien', 'Adult', and 'Kids' for a specific self-made type (relation) for concrete project (here - Dashboard), they then were seen and able to be chosen in all cases of a 'parent' Type. Maybe that was a bug, I don't know, but what about this version of an app?
Wow, I completely missed your question, I'm very sorry. You probably have your answer already, but to be honest, I don't use AnyType in a root/parent/child way. Everything is just an object and I link it to other objects through relations and 'link to object', that way I can quickly navigate my objects. So maybe in that way you could see dashboard as the parent (like Notion or OneNote), but I think the strength of AnyType is to really let that go.

Thank you. Anytype is so much harder to understand than Notion.
Honestly it is, but the fact it's a gazillion times faster and more secure than Notion, I'm willing to learn 😍
