This video really helped me a lot more than you may know. I’m actually fighting back tears because I’m about to graduate college and have been at such a crossroads as to what to do. I’m so fearful of making the wrong decision because I just want to glorify God in what I pick, but hearing you say it’s not the end of the world if I mess up and I’ll never know unless I try has been so reassuring to me. Sometimes I get so stuck in my head and it’s nice to hear it from someone else. I really feel like a friend has just helped me. Thank-you, Taylor! 💕 PS: I’m graduating with a biology degree and I can say that having a talent and genuine interest in the sciences is a HUGE gift. And there will always be a need for medical staffing (just look at the world now). But, wouldn’t it feel so much better if God Himself just came down and told us what to do? 😂
It's crazy how similar our school experience has been, Taylor! I also applied to a diagnostic imaging program and got wait listed and thought I'd have to wait a year but a spot opened up for me. When I sought the Lord for guidance I felt peace with accepting the position in the program. Now I have been in it since January and I absolutely love it and know this God's plan for my life. Nothing compares to walking in God's will and favor. Praying for you ! 💕

I had a really hard time figuring out where to go to school when it come time. I was hoping a door would close, so only one would be left open- turns out both doors were left open. It. Was. A. STRUGGLE. I prayed and I prayed about what to do. I lived my days and nights with anxiety and fear of the future. God worked everything out at just the right timing. It was amazing to watch how everything fell into place! I also got rejected at the last minute from a nursing program I was trying to get into. I was wanted to go for a Bachelor’s track, but I didn’t make the cut. Therefore, I tried to get into the Associate’s program at my school and got in. In the end, it turned out for the best too. I’m praying that God will give you comfort and direction about this big decision. Hang in there girl! ❤️

Hey! I really like your videos. Regarding the new options with school for you, it seems to me that by making you wait, God tested you and gave you the opportunity to trust in him. You were able to keep strong in faith and he delivered to you want you were desiring. Maybe I'm totally off lol, but I hope that this might've helped a little bit. Taylor, I have the gift of discernment and just listening to you talk about both schools and reading your pros and cons, I believe God is leading you towards Moody. Know that you are incredibly young still and have a lot of time to complete your degree. Also, just because Medical Missions might boot work out now, doesn’t mean the door will be closed forever. God just shows you the next step, not the entire path. I’m almost 31 and I’m not where I wanted to be when I first left high school, but I honestly love my life right now and wouldn’t change anything, even though some of my dreams didn’t come true.
Could you both do kind of "what I eat in a day" vlog? Those are always interesting. :) Love ya'll!
Taylor! Totally admire and appreciate you being open and vulnerable with sharing your "rejection" to a program/school you were hoping to get into. I, too wasn't accepted into the program and school I was hoping to get into to start in Sept. I admire yours and your sister's faith and just how consistent you both seem with posting content on your UA-cam. I recently discovered you guys have a blog and am inspired. I'm just kind of on a writer's block/have some type of fear to be "real" with my viewers/followers, despite the fact that I post on my IG nearly everyday.
Also! I love that you recorded your pros and cons process :) I LOVE doing that when making a decision/weighing out reality and emotions, etc... my blog post from November last year actually has some steps in being ok with making decisions. *sigh* praying for God to continue leading you sis! Keep up the good work! And hopefully within this next month... I'll have a vlog or video up to share! My friends are always telling me that I should have a UA-cam channel.. I mean I do, I just struggle to get stuff out! Any advice/wisdom would be appreciated

Hey Taylor! I've been talking to my mom about this hard decision you are making. My mom actually went to Moody too. When she was deciding she was really unsure of herself, she wasn't the best at math or science, but she also wanted to serve people through the healthcare field. She didn't have confidence in herself, and she didn't have a encouraging push from her parents. She ended up going to Moody and loved it. She got married and had 4 kids. She is a stay at home mom/homemaker which she loves too. Now that we are all growing up, in college and high school, she doesn't really feel like she has a purpose in growing God's kingdom, she works a part-time job during the school day. She kind of regrets not going into the health field. She definitely wants to be helping and serving in the name of Jesus.
I could see you loving medical missions, and the great thing about that is you can learn a skill that will provide for you, as well as serve people in God's glory. When you settle down and have a family, it is possible for you to work at a hospital or clinic. You can live anywhere and there will be a job for you.
I want to be a L&D nurse, and I love the flexibility it offers. When I have a family (God willing) I can take time off. When my kids are in school I can always go back. I would love to be a traveling nurse too.
Sonography is such a cool field, and you would get to experience the miracle of life! Through your work you can lead women to Jesus in their times of joy and hardship.
I also think your experience with sonogram and medical missions would bring something totally new to CBT. I would love to hear about your experiences, because I am interested in being a missionary nurse.
I will be praying for you and your decision. Both schools are AMAZING and I know God has such a great plan for you. I can't wait to hear your decision. Lean into Jesus, and He will guide you. ❤️

yes girl!! congrats! super special to have such a decision to make! when I was making my college decision, I spent one day pretending I picked one school, and then the next pretending I chose the other. Pay attention to your mood, excitement, and/or worries each day. I’m glad you have more days to think about it,, don’t get too stressed out - this is a good problem to have :))

Hey gal! Funny, I'm currently studying for my Sonography exams to finish off this semester and decided to take a break and saw this video! If you have any questions about sonography please feel free to let me know and we can set up a way to chat! I know what you mean, when you have 2 opportunities and you're trying to figure out God's will for your life because that's what you want to follow! I pray for peace for your decision making and I can't wait to hear what you choose! I'm in love with Sonography, im not totally sure why, but there's something about it! It might be the mix of many of my passions such as photography (literally taking pictures of the human body), technology, human interaction/patient care and more! I feel like I am able to bring Gods joy and peace to people who are usually in very worrisome times (trying to figure out what is wrong with them) and in the happy times (pregnancy results). It does come with its challenges, such as being a secular career and dealing with patients who may have different beliefs or wishes to what you have. If you want to chat about it please don't hesitate to let me know, for reference I'm just finishing year 3 of 4 of my program and have done one full semester of clinical placement (I go to school in Canada so I had the option to do a 4 year Bachelor degree vs 2 year college degree)

Hi! I normally don't comment but recently I have been more and I really like it. It makes me feel like I'm talking to some close friends. I think u guys should do a livestream on youtube and or Instagram and just talking with us in real-time. I think u guys should do an update Q&A vid so we can hear about your lives. Also, I would love something to do with guys and how to find the right Christian guy. I have found it very hard myself because there's not a huge Christian population around me and I don't go to a Christian college. I do hope to in the future when I'm done my program. Thanks ladies! I like vlogs but I enjoy them better when they are more 'real', raw, and relatable. Also, I hope that you will choose the 'right' or 'best' decision for you. You wrote down a lot of pros and cons; all we're good and strong point. I'm a student nurse and as someone studying in this field I'd like to encourage you to get into sonography especially knowing that you got in, you seem to like it, and you already have some credits toward it (a&p, medical terminology...). You can still be light in the darkness in that area and also it's only two years.
I'm in a similar situation as you in regards to picking college programs. I have a lot of interests but I want to do something that I will enjoy, be successful in, and be able to serve the Lord in. It's hard to see where I'm supposed to be to achieve all that. I hope God will guide you and me and anyone else with this issue so we can all be exactly where He wants us to be 😊💛

My first degree didn't end up being my life long career path and that's OK! If I hadn't done it I wouldn't be where I am today! And I'm actually thinking about going back to school for a degree in Theology or Catholic Art Studies! I will be praying for you! Just remember, God is in control and if your first degree isn't what you want, don't be afraid to get back into school and do something else! 💖

I sort of know what you mean. I was weight listed to OSU for Winter quarter, this was back when they had the quarter systems. I really wanted in BYU, but I was a convert, and my GPA wasn't good enough. Finally I was like, forget this, I'm just going to go to the community college, which worked out because I needed remedial math. I started in fall of 98, and got married in 2000. Do not get married if you want to finish school, my number one TIP!!!! And now with this situation, I don't know how to access my records, I hope they are still there at the community college.

I love the vlog Taylor💜 You play the piano beautifully 💕 I prayed for you that you would be safe and God Jesus would help you choose. You might be a little lactose intolerant. I am. I drink lactose free milk (real milk, they just take out the lactose sugar that is hard for some bodies to break down) and also tou can take lactaid which is a supplement that helps break down the lactose sugar so you can still have stuff like real cheese on pizza. Just thought I would tell you, I found out I was lactose intolerant when I was young the hard way so I wanted to let you know. 🙂
