I don't like feeling vulnerable either so I get that. I usually will write down in a card or text or something my more vulnerable feelings if I need to express them to someone else. I have been dwelling on the lack of permanence in life lately... But the hope of permanence in Heaven makes today worth living. ❤

Did you decide against grad school Taylor? I can't remember. I do remember the videos you posted about it but I don't know what you decided to do. You probably just need a break anyway. I never went to grad school and I don't regret it now. I used to wish I had gone because I would have been able to branch out in my career and make more money but now that I'm retired I don't regret not going. I'm glad you're home safely for the holiday's. Enjoy the time with your family and stay warm and cozy!🎄

Im 23 and just graduated university as well. I’m not feeling sentimental about that because university was not a fun experience for me. I am however feeling quite old (although I know I’m really young). I’m visiting family for the holidays and seeing my “little” cousins 18 and all grown up which only makes me feel older. I’m also feeling like I don’t know what I can expect for next year. I don’t want to start the rat race and work an unsatisfying 9 to 5… Then again I’m kind of depressed right now so I’m pessimistic.
I can understand where you are coming from. The thought of having an unsatisfying 9 to 5 can be really scary and daunting. I can also relate to feeling pessimistic because of depressive symptoms. I care so much for you and relate, and I want you to know that God has a purpose for you! You already glorify Him just by being made in His image- before you could ever "do" anything for Him. Love you my friend

I’m asking this because I’m looking for a counselor, as a 17 year old and it would be great if you could give me some advice and a few tips on finding a counselor and getting started with counseling.
