    Beautiful truck. Keep it forever. It cannot be replaced by anything being made today.

    I just bought one today. 92. Old fella had it. Very nice shape to, no rust anywhere and 181000km. Same interior too.

    Kudos keeping it stock. So many that have been lifted and riced into oblivion. Beautiful truck

    I have a lifted 92 on 35" tires with dual 4" chrome stacks on the back.
    it was my first ever truck I've had it since I was 14 and she's my baby.
    green and black with the black and green interior.
    ill never sell her.

      @23027  7 років тому

      That is rad!! I had to sell this truck unfortunately. I converted it to 5speed NV4500 and then I took a job working downtown Vancouver.. This thing could not be parked anywhere. Had to get a smaller vehicle. I will own one again some day.

      It was hard! It went to a good owner. The frustration of owning it at the time made it easier to let it go but I look forward to the day I come back to one :)

      Yeah these things are like.. The best of every world. 70's body style and build quality, with 90's technology, diesel Cummins... Damn best truck ever. They don't make them like they used to!

  • @23027
    @23027  11 років тому +1

    Yes I did! Moog 7226S spring! Leveled out really nicely. I tried to have coil spacers stuffed in there for extra lift... But the shop couldn't jam them in there even with 2 extra people helping haha. I'll make a new vid soon, the truck looks much different now. Added aftermarket wheels, bigger tires, HID+Projector lights, LED dash conversion, aftermarket deck + sub, more LED's around the truck. Looks better!

    Beautiful Truck...A twin to mine!! Same everything (at least it was until I had it painted.).
    Most everything but the tires and injectors (and the injection pump of course) on mine is stock too.
    Bought mine brand new and I don’t think I could ever bear to part with mine...LOVE IT!

  • @allen84jr
    @allen84jr 3 роки тому

    Screw in the bolt on the aneroid valve so it gets full fuel at low rpm. You are not actually turning up the fuel so it’s not hurting the motor. It’s just giving it fuel without waiting for boost to open the valve. Black stack without hurting the motor. Message me if you want to know how.

      Wicked thanks!! Not many people are into it but I love the TRON look to it. It's going to be a future restoration project once I spend some time to learn how to fiberglass. From what I've gathered it's not too bad. But for now the bike runs really great!!! And still looks good from a distance ;)

    • @Upthemtn
      @Upthemtn 8 років тому

      23027 that's awesome man, I got an 87 750 that I have to find the time to redo. Going for a slightly stretched look, but not to the point of where it's obnoxious. I haven't tested the motor yet but if it's bad I'm going to look for a newer 1000 motor or something to swap. I love the looks of the old bikes. Plus hats the lightest gsxr they ever made! Keep us updated with your build. I'll sub to you and keep my eye out for it. I might end up doing mine soon.

    I have a 3 inch exhaust and I'd like to put a muffler delete on but can't seem to find one that's 3 inches. Where'd you get your muffler delete or how did you exactly do it?

    • @23027
      @23027  9 років тому +1

      +onlylikenerd I took it to a shop that builds exhaust systems. This wasn't a purchased "muffler delete kit". Just a straight piece of 3" pipe that was measured and cut to fit.

    • @23027
      @23027  8 років тому

      Sounds like a bad switch on the steering column if I were to guess. That or the motor lost its high speed function. Start cheap and dig deeper! Odd that the cluster lights ALL went out... Likely the switch too though. Check fuses first for that one!

      Ángel Romero ah man that engine was worth it back then.. If taken care of a diesel can go 500,000 miles and more.. the only gas engine i have seen go the distance is the straight 6 that engine was in an old Zephyr 250,000 miles..

    Haha odo doesn't matter.. Not with these rigs. I almost bought a w250 with bench seats and power windows, but I couldn't justify the asking price to have a bench seat and manual windows. Got this for thousands cheaper and in ten times the condition.

    • @23027
      @23027  8 років тому

      +missy welch Yeah I don't think this is the factory wheel my truck came with, the cruise control was missing its wiring harness when I was troubleshooting it so at some point it's been taken off/replaced. I believe these trucks have the 3 spoke wheel and pre-91 trucks had these older style chrysler wheels. Not totally certain though. I would like to upgrade to the newer style some day.

      +23027 sounds good man even before we repainted the red door n brown fender took my truck to a car show n still won a trophy it was 4 trophies from the past 3 years now :) so be proud of that truck ur also lucky that the trucks paint isn't rusted or peeling like some of the other trucks like that I've seen :)

      @23027  10 років тому +1

      My brother had an ls400 we did some work on, straight piped it for a while and then had some other exhaust put in. Coilovers for a hot stance and some great looking wheels tucked in really nicely. Really great car, 1UZ is an amazing motor. You can't really compare apples to oranges here though. This is a raw truck, yours is a luxury sedan..

  • @tylerbaker199

    im assuming from the way you talk must of been your first diesel? why dont put the shaved fuel pin in turn the pump up? or do a p pump converson. or anything else. like a million things you could do. you should do 4inch or 5 in back. nice truck

    • @23027
      @23027  8 років тому +1

      +Tyler Baker Thanks! There's plenty of options out there but I don't intend to modify or alter anything on this truck. I feel better leaving the fuel pump untampered and staying very close to stock. If the exhaust is desparately needing replacement then I will probably just go with the MBRP 4" because it's very cheap and works just fine. I'd rather put the money into restoring the paint and getting it ready to convert to 4x4 in the future!
