- Today AD brings you to the lush hillside neighborhood of Los Feliz in Los Angeles to visit the enchanting home of actress Vanessa Hudgens. Hudgens spent five years searching for the right property before settling upon the Georgian colonial house she now calls home, undertaking renovations both on her own and in tandem with interior designer Jake Arnold. With her work comes many nights on the road (she stars in Lin Manuel Miranda’s upcoming directorial debut, “Tick, Tick...Boom!”) meaning Vanessa’s home has become a place to return to, renew, and reconnect. “It’s nice to know that when I get home, I’ll have a bath waiting for me. I always savor that first soak.”

As an architect, this is one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen. It's romantic, it's vintage, it's cozy.
Edit: english is not my first language! These "basic" words were the only few that I could think of, lol! I believe what I ment is that her home is a perfect mix of modern and old, clean surfaces, materials with a bit of texture.. It's a combination not always easy to achieve. Congrats to her design team.

This is the only house I felt like I would want to movie into. The rooms look so sunlit, spacious and totally liveable. She nailed the interior. The bed and bath are totally her.

This house shows like a very undiscovered side of Vanessa. The house is so beautiful and shake. And I love how she didn’t show her closet and showed all the other parts which were meaningful for for her
Digging the fact she collects things. The "empty" spaces in her home just feel like she's waiting for the right pieces to come along and fit there - there's no rush to buy placeholders or generic items. It all feels pretty intentional, which is really refreshing for a celebrity home. Looking forward to paige wassel to cover this one!

I’ve actually watched a lot of celebrities give a tour of their home & have always noticed most people stick to the same 2 words (example: beautiful/ my favorite) This woman described every inch of her HOME with so much detail / description down to each artist & why she chose it. How you can tell a celeb actually lives in their home...it's has stories and they know where stuff came from. Love how she said she didn't want to show her closet cause it was a mess. That she found a picture of herself on Etsy and bought it because she loved it. That is honestly one of the coolest things. She seems incredibly sweet.

Bruh just because you know the history of the house doesn’t mean you actually live there, a broker might know better, the architect, a historian, shoot, a collector might know better. And if you’re an owner of a beautiful property, you surely liked to know your property, it doesn’t mean you live there or not, you own it... it’s your right to know especially if you have a collector side of you.. she can have another house in Calabasas just because you know the history doesn’t mean you live there 24/7/365 could be 3 months of the year could be less..

I have never seen more beautiful and cozy home - than this. Love so much everything about this house - the french vibe and how Vanessa decorated it with the respect for the history of this house. The art and the whimsical outdoor areas, the lights, the fruit bearing trees and the plumeria plants - which also are my favorite flowers. I had a Polynesian wedding in Cook Islands and had so many of these flowers around at the wedding. Love the ivy covered walls - as well. Great job Vanessa!

An absolutely stunning home and serene haven. I love the Mediterranean feel, the beautiful French doors, and the romantic, old Hollywood glamour and vintage touches throughout. The soft orange and terracotta tones work nicely against the fresh white, and greenery of the plants. Offset by the deeper dramatic tones of the gorgeous powder room and bathroom. Just a delight, start to finish!
She questioned herself on the orange drapes but wow they are incredible. It gives the room a nice glow to it.

This is one of the most gorgeous homes and outdoor spaces I have ever seen! Everything felt very modern and yet had lots of vintage charm. There was so much color and texture and life--I loved everything about it! And Now I want a black bathroom!
What a beautiful home! So often, people who can afford it, have homes that are over-sized, contemporary, sterile mansions that have expensive features but lack warmth, character and imagination. Vanessa's home exudes quality with attention to details. She blended old world French, Italian, English and whimsical fairy-tale aspects with vintage 50's Hollywood and modern-day contemporary design seamlessly. She did an amazing job!

after watching a lot of poorly decorated, tasteless very expensive houses in AD channel, this house looks actually great. and I must say its rare to see the homeowners mentioning the artists' names. so Vanessa 👏one of the best celebrity houses.

This is my favorite celebrity home. So much texture, color, history and originality. I had stopped looking at celebrity homes because they all had that same white minimalist look to them. It was like if you've seen one you've seen them all. But THIS house? 5 stars!!!🤩 Thankful that she is different.

I don’t think I’ve seen a black bathroom like that, before. When she giggles it makes me giggle 😆 I LOVE that she left the green tile in the powder room. Mid-century tile is seriously underrated. And I love that she added the poster as a reminder of the history of the house. The green space was awesome

I had the pale green mid-century tile in the kitchen of my last place. Also paired with red, strangely enough. But, yes, always happy to see in places still!

Ha, yeah she's so "adorable" that she doesn't mention that she lived there with Austin Butler for the three years she owned it. Kind of conspicuous and odd that she doesn't mention him at all. She acts like she loved the house more than him. They broke up and she sold it, and now she lives in a mansion in Studio City.
