Whoooah! I think this is one of the Craziest Build I've ever seen Bro. And I'm pretty Much sure that this YZ250X conversion engine will scream and will be a Great Woods bike. Man I'm excited!
You cannot make a wrong step with a yz250 very nice work just a little bit jealous awesome build with all the trick bits cant wait for the complete bike video 👍👍👍
Right on Rado!! I really like those rear brake return springs built into the MC. It's one of the first things I fit to my own dirt bikes. What a nice off road weapon you are building. And fitting parts out of sequence always happens when assembling a bike.
Dirt N Iron I racked my brain trying to figure out where to mount my hr meter on yz. I kinda wish I would have seen this video because I didn’t even think of doing that🙌🙌
Absolutely amazing. Your build is incredible. Can't wait to see her running and how she is going to perform in the woods. Also eager to see the Comparison with an original 250x.
Cool build, gonna be another beautiful bike. I'm sure it'll perform as good as it looks. BTW, I recently came across a perch mounted kill switch. I'm sure they've been out for a while but I really like the fact that it doesn't take up any bar space and gives you a little more room to position your clutch just where you want it and still have the kill switch in easy reach from the grip if needed. Several companies making them.
I love to watch these builds ive done a few myself and its fun to se what misstakes are made in the assembly like you mentiond puting things on in the wrong order "been there done that" =)
Can you try out a set of the Mako 360 bar mounts by XC Gear would really like a good review on it before I pull the trigger on a set, riding a 17’ 250X and absolutely love it 😍
@@dirtniron Im Danish but live and work in Thailand, we have a lot of good riding areas, but all about the bikes are taxed a lot and takes a long time to get
2005 with fox racing suspension gold valves in front an a fox shock in the back 2010 swingarm also 250 f or 450f so different suspension than a regular yz250
Your builds are some of my favorite videos to watch. I think this is going to be your best bike yet! Metal to classical, I liked the journey 😎. How did you not saw your thumb off? That made me cringe haha. Awesome job, thanks for all the work 🤙✌️
@@dirtniron can you explain why.not that familiar with 2 stroke stuff or ride a bike my guess it has something to do with compression and back pressure efficiency.
I am not sure I can fit wr tranny in these cases, I think you need to grind something off for 1st gear.. I decided to get wide ratio gearbox from 250X which comes with 3rd, 4th and 5th different ratio
The wr400 and 426 gearbox drops straight in. I've installed it in my 250. The 3rd, 4th and 5th gear ratios are the same as 250x. The case grinding required is less than the thickness of a sheet of paper and only in a small area. There are tons of people that do it and even a South African race team did it to race the 'Roof of Africa' Enduro race. It's totally worth it as you don't have to slip the clutch as much in technical terrain in 1st gear.
Nice bike but put some effort into your videos instead of playing music over you fixing up your bike... why not do walk throughs and show people how to do stuff... talk use your voice. No one wants to listen to shitty dubstep over you putting a bike together might as well leave it silent and let them play their own music
Fantastic music from 12 minutes, onward. Watching a build, was equally therapeutic.
thanks Deon, glad you like it!
This build is incredible! For sure one of my favorites! GJ man!
Glad you like it! thanks Matteo
Look nice with all the cerakote and the nice blues, you putting a long range tank on
thanks! yes, I am using IMS over-sized tank.

thanks Christoper, learning as I go.. on my own mistakes, thats part of a fun. ;)
My favorite part was the hour meter mount behind the number plate. I had never thought of that.
ktm and husky have the hour meter there stock, I got little inspiration ;)

Bike is looking awesome man! Really interested in how the smart carb performs. Keep up the great work my friend.
thank you Scott, glad you like it! I am so curious how she's gonna ride, I never heard her running before.
God dang this yz is coming up so nice its definitely give me inspiration for building my 07 yz
Thanks Robert, glad you can get little inspiration here 👍

Thank you very much Rodolfo! I am eager too!
14:26 i just use a flat head screwdriver to smack out the ends of lock-on grips, that way it looks much nicer and not as rough

Why are you gonna do the old style plastic ?
I am using ufo restyle kit. Fork guards look little boring but everything else is new design
@@dirtniron youll regret it lol. The 15 plus stuff looks so much better
I don’t know man, I think they look good.
I really like those foot pegs I might have to pick some up. The color on the clip part almost matches a 05 crf 250r color
scar titanium pegs, really good grip!
Excelente video, tenia una duda es mejor una yamaha 250 2T, que una 250 4T
thanks Jordy
Every video you make is cool mate how I wish I have that bike

Thanks Hannes, glad you like it! Appreciate you mentioned the music, this time i spent hours looking for good songs. 👍
Would you mind sharing the soundtrack/songs? I’m always looking for new music and you’ve nailed every song on this video!
Nice bike I have a custom wr300yz in parts sad to say hopefully some day it will be together if not at least I got my ktm250xc
good luck Gordon! what year is that 300?
2005 with fox racing suspension gold valves in front an a fox shock in the back 2010 swingarm also 250 f or 450f so different suspension than a regular yz250
Where do you get all your aftermarket parts?? Love all the blue, would like to order some myself!
you can get it all online, direct from the company or on some big sites
The rear brake master cylinder, is that stock or aftermarket components added?
the return spring and the clevis are aftermarket from Fasst Company. the spring allows you to adjust your brake tension, really nice feature.

Hi I am looking for a YZ125 how much does like a 2001 YZ125 cost
@@japhethgraber2605 Depends on on condition of the bike usually they are like $1300 to $2000
Im from Finland and i gonna rip the kx tomorrow on the track.

Such a rad build! (Get rid of that tusk brake rear brake tho, the shifter is good but the tip on that rear brake sucks, hammerhead makes a good one)
thanks for the tip Devin, glad you like the build!
Someone plz explain the deal the deal with the huge kidney bladder looking exhaust.
thats a 2 stroke engine.. they need this pipe to run their best

All that effort to make an enduro bike and you didn't put the WR 1st and 2nd gears in. Why?

I puked when you hacksaw’d the grips.........
Razor blade for the win eh!?
I wanted to use razor blade, but these are odi lock-on grips with plastic tube inside.. so I butchered it with the saw 🙂
