@@ChristinaMuscari should she try another flip you ask?!!?!?! she clearly wants to do this my dear... this is incredible!!! nice job assisting her and good work blessings to hands
@@delpicsla65 oh it’s not a bad price but I feel like they got it for a steal. I even showed this to my wife and even she said she’d pay $200-$300. Furniture is pretty expensive now especially something that’s not a cheap knockoff.
now THIS is a furniture flip! its not destroying an antique for a passing modern style, nor is it someone buying it from the thrift store and making none to minimal changes and charging twice the cost online. she not only has the hard work and quality mentality, and skills to refurbish by herself, but she also clearly has a keen eye for design!! she should DEFINITELY do more flips, shes a natural!
This, I hate when resellers raid thrift stores (obviously they don't all do it it's just a few that ruin the bunch). My Facebook marketplace place is full of people reselling dirty antiques they won't even bother to clean, much less restore. As we speak there's a $300 dresser that has visible dirt and broken wood I saw at the thrift for $30.
@@jobivuvuvfvi605 Most resellers DO do that though! There is just so much absurdity in the resale market - furniture, clothing, all genres. The number of times I’ve seen a common, not-special used resale item, priced above the regular, retail price, new - they’re countless! For example, a pair of men’s Dickies pants, a standard cut and color, resale price nearly 2x the regalar retail price, new! But--even more absurd are the people who BUY those egregiously-overpriced resale items!
also, I find that if I see anything with ai, it not only cheapens the image 100%, but I'd have a moment of "so this is fake then, yeah?" definitely not a great way to go. (I mean I'm an artist so of course I hate ai, but still)
that’s actually so cute i would buy that for myself!!! this is such a great skill to have, being generally handy. she will thank you in her adult years
You did a really good job. I love seeing artsy parents help their kids get creative to and letting her sell early and keep the money just shows how much hard work pays off🥰
Letting kids get their hands dirty is the best way to teach them independence. I remember when I took this class in high school where we got to build different projects. We had to use power tools, cut wood with electrical saws, build electric systems, learn how to code... It was genuinely one of the best things I remember from high school. My friend and I built this robot that followed light, so it sort of guided itself, and our teacher entered us into a comp where we won a prize. You don't realize just how positive letting your daughter experiment like this really is. Also, she nailed it!
My friend had a woodshop class in high school he took. He would make wood cutouts people could display in their house using school supplies. He didn't make any to sell but for his family members to have. I paid him $5 to pick a horse one he can cut out for me. I did not have to pay him but I gave him some money for it so he could use the money for the extra stuff you can buy during lunch that week.
Wow! You've got a designer in the making! She did such a beautiful job. I love the color and the decals she chose that work so beautifully with it to create that lovely feminine whimsy. 🎉🎨
work in furniture retail- no english dovetails no ballbearing side linees so the manufacturering is cheap/clunky looking, excellent artist! flip again! she deserves a better canvas.
It always makes me smile (and feel a bit envious) when I see parents actually hanging out with their kids and engaging with them in a fun activity. I'm sure this is going to be a beautiful memory for you guys.
Omg this had me in tears. 1st i miss doing things with my daughter (23 and out living life and im single). This mother-daughter time you're having is precious. 2nd the dresser from 1 daughter to another daughter. The buyers daughter will love it even more after knowing that. ❤❤❤
She not only did an amazing job but congrats to you mom for raising and supporting such a cool chick! This is such a great opportunity to learn a skill that could keep food on her table and a roof over her head and you are the person holding her hand through it all! Congratulations on being so awesome!!
Not only is this bonding time and a valuable lesson for her future, but it creates less waste and upcycles something for someone else to use :)) parents like you give me a lot of faith in the upcoming youngest generation
Your daughter did an amazing job. She had a vision and totally pulled it off. She definitely needs to price her pieces higher in the future. Very talented young lady!!
Wow! I am so proud of her! The look on her face when she finished is priceless! What a talented daughter with a great inspirational mom! A magnificent duo!
It looks beautiful! And I must say an undercharge for how beautiful the piece came out. I definitely think she could make a career one day out of flipping stuff if that's something she wanted to do. Very talented
Shes doing a great job. Having said that, there is ZERO reason to have her on the Internet, exploiting her. Let her do her thing in private and she still makes money. YOU, as a parent, have NO business making money off your daughter. 🚩🚩
She did an amazing job!!! I’m not usually a fan of flipped furniture unless it’s done really really well, and that’s absolutely beautiful! I’m sure she was proud of herself (as she should be) and I’m positive that you were proud of her too!!! 🥰 well done. 💛
To be honest, if she/mom would be okay with it, i would def love this to be a series! This is such a creative way to make money and she's clearly got a talent for it! She enhanced what the piece already was rather than making it something completely different. I LOVE IT♡♡♡♡
Oh yes ma’am!! She should definitely continue with another flip. What a talented young lady and great/supportive mama. She will definitely make bigger sales with her furniture because it is 100% worth more than $95 😉 and it’s great the first one sold so quickly. (Whoever bought knew it was a steal!) A wonderful learning experience in figuring out how to properly price :)
My goodness! Great job little girl. You put so much time ,talent and effort into that. Next sell for a LOT MORE MONEY! You Deserve that! FANTASTIC JOB! VERY BEAUTIFUL!!
She did an amazing job! Even more importantly, she will never forgot how special this time with her mom was and how it felt to earn honest money for a job well done! Good job, Mom and daughter! ❤
This is the best furniture flip Ive ever seen.
Its not dismantling something antique, its very cute and it really looks new!
I cringe every time they redo antiques. I love it when they restore them back to original.
Thank you!
@@ChristinaMuscari should she try another flip you ask?!!?!?! she clearly wants to do this my dear... this is incredible!!! nice job assisting her and good work blessings to hands
Yeah I really admire the ikea etc type flips because it's unique pieces without having to cry about losing beautiful real wood/antique art pieces
I personally like when people flip antiques it’s still antique….. paint comes off….. it’s just like make up ❤
Could’ve easily gotten 150-200 for that. She did a good job.
I’m broke so I probably wouldn’t be able to buy it for any more $$ than she sold it for.
@@emmapariera5210 then you wouldn't be her target customer 🤷♀️
I think the price was fair

I'd pay $100 for something like that.
She’s very talented. The transfers were a GREAT touch.
She did a GREAT job betting them to wrap around the edges and look continuous.
I almost can't believe she chose the placement of the transfers herself, she really has an eye for this stuff!! It looks beautiful!
Kids are so creative. It's nice she found a way to apply it that she loves and other people recognize ❤

The only thing good about antiques is that they're old. It's better to change it to something people will use than letting it rot somewhere.

Condition is so important, too. If it’s been uncared for too long it loses any value it could have had.
Beautiful...she did a great job!

Good for HER!!!!! 😮😊
I love that you are teaching your daughter these skills - what an awesome way to set her up in life
definitely she should flip more furniture!!! she’s so talented and creative
You're teaching your daughter such a valuable life skills. She is very fortunate to have a mother like you
Yup. Kids her age throw a temper tantrum to get the tablet back…

I totally agree!

I absolutely LOVE IT!!! She's got an eye for sure! Transfers were a beautiful touch!

Thank you so much!!
Love the dresser, but AI staging seems like a bad idea. It won't accurately show the size of the dresser.

100%, do not support AI
Ai can also turn customers away if they pick up on it being used. Would make them think the end table is ai as well.
@@wayIess totally agree. honestly if I see any ai stuff in listings I assume it's fake and block it lmao
exactly
She is indeed very talented!!! Can’t wait to see her flip more furniture ❤

Good on you for teaching your daughter a talent she will be able to use for the rest of her life. Very talented young lady.
