More in the style of the studio version whereas the Tourfilm version has louder drums. Joey is using brushes here. Always loved the inclusion of backing vocals which do not appear on Murmur's version. Very pretty. Thank you HG.
I have this bootleg concert CD. Great to see the video. Written so many years ago and yet its still a beautiful song. Amazing how REM are able to extract such emotion with their music. Thank you for uploading this video and all the other amazing videos you have shared with REM fans all over the world. We GREATLY appreciate it.
just wanted to join all the thankyou's. It's been a pleasure to watch all these gems from R.E.M. especially from the monster tour, which hold a special place in my heart. Hope to see you again in the future when you'll have more time.
Ken Byrne playing this album on repeat circa '92 - completely transported back to those times. REM blaring through the weekend, complaints plentiful from the rave on peers. Yo, tune to that station!
Never knew Bill Berry wrote this. Beautiful. I miss REM, especially the IRS days. It's almost as if it was a different band back then.
One of their greatest in my opinion.
Whats not to love? What a wonderful, wistful and evocative song.

Hope you're well
It's crazy to think there was a time when Stipe was shy and uncomfortable "up front"! seems pretty comfortable at the Mic here! lol
Wow...what a performance. Love the song, but the performance takes it to another level
It's like Mr Stipe spoonfeeds you morsels of his soul. Or, maybe you feed yourself your own while you listen.
Apparently, at least one person on earth has no soul.
Quelle merveilleuse voix et quel artiste.trop beau 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
this is probably the best version of Perfect Circle I've heard.
R.E.M. are the best!! Very nice video. Are you going on holidays? I`ll miss your videos. Don`t stop upload.
yeah
one of those songs that I think I might want at my funeral
This is better than the original version on Murmur imo
thank you CrazyCat. I stop upload because I have not any free time. In future I again may upload. But for time being I must stop uploading videos :)
Best performance of best song ever

こんな曲、詞も含めてR.E.M.にしか書けない。30年近くたっても新しく決定的に唯一的。
