- Omar Marmoush is the most-wanted attacker in football at the moment given his unbelievable start to the season with Eintracht Frankfurt. Marmoush is second only to his countrymen Mohamed Salah when it comes to goal contributions in the top five leagues, and naturally, is drawing comparisons to the Liverpool ace. But, does Omar Marmoush really play like Mo Salah? Let’s go over Omar Marmoush’s strengths, his goals, and his playing style in this player profile and scouting report.

City and Bundesliga. Great combo
Match made in heaven
Man city dont miss when it comes to Bundesliga signings so i hope he does well
What makes you feel he'll sign for City? He'll be another Grealish. 😂

I signed him at the start of the year for my west ham career mode save. Glad to see him doing great for Frankfurt 😂
You’re a real manager 🔥😂🙌🏾
It's funny how we (Egypt) are leading Europe top 5 leagues scoring charts with Salah and Marmoush while the rest of our squad is less than average
We always had the talent even before salah & marmoush. The problem was a lot of players in egypt didn't have any ambitions or discipline. The system in egypt doesn't help either.
Thats because football in Egypt is now for the rich kids only, The talented poor ones can only play in the streets where nobody sees them
الأغنياء ليس لهم علاقه بالكوره في مصر
بل أبناء الاعبين هم من يلعبون علي حساب الموهوبين@@amrjihad
Never would of have though Omar Marmoush would get a Rabona video since the first time I have watched him when he made his Egypt debuet
This is the first time in a long time that I'm hyped up about a player that my club Manchester city might sign, he's amazing, having relatives from Frankfurt i often went to matches for the team and omar always impressed me, god i hope he actually joins city otherwise i would be really gutted
Yes bro after Sane and Mahrez this guy looks like a gem of a player worth watching. I hope we get this signing done in January. This one player can turn our season around as opponents will start to fear our attack once again with Savinho and Marmoush in 2 wings with Haaland in the middle. 😊
😂😂😂
Give us ur oil money and shut up. Buy this guy and see him flop 😂😂😂
@@Rickpotato123all you haters are the same😂
@@emperor2068 u laugh we take ur money and than laugh 😉
@Rickpotato123 so you skipped english and grammar class eh?
All you can do is hope omar will flop
Welcome to City
cant wait for him to turn into a passing back machine in city
Being the next Salah is going to be a burden just like kids being called the next Messi is
I don't think the "next salah" Name has caught on like that
It's only a few people
Plus Bundesliga players don't flop at city
That's why he should stay out of the Premier league. In Germany, nobody calls him the next Salah, whilst fans of the PL will always have the obvious comparison right in front of their noses, since they have watched Salah play so many great seasons for Liverpool by now
He's more Suarez than Salah
@@BiggestBirdonMars That's probably because the talent pool coming out of Egypt is nothing in comparison to Argentina, but when someone is labelled the next Salah that does mean something.
Honestly he can't be the next Salah. No-one knew this guy last season or the season before. It's only when he started scoring goals THIS SEASON that people were like "Huh, he could be the next Salah or WE NEED HIM". When Pep bought Haaland he was doing A MADNESS season in, season out in Bundesliga. Honestly in my opinion he may not live up to the hype when he join City. He'll improve them, but I see him becoming another Grealish.
Kompany, Akanji, De Jong, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Dzeko
City's Bundesliga scouting is quite good...
And Sane
Haaland too
Sane, Haaland, Ortega
Our best scouting areas seem to be Portugal, Germany, South America.
Gvardiol, Haaland too, Bondesliga is our favourite market 😇😘🇩🇪
2:03 never thought id hear my hometown team get mentioned in one of his videos lol
Sabah
Never heard of him, his c v sounds quite impressive.Good for City and their scouts.Hopefully that he will thrive at City
Man city got a gem
Looks like a fantastic player, hope he can also adjust to play in a possession heavy team cause hes best numbers have been at Frankfurt(a transition based team)
What a beautiful shirt. Shoutout from Brasil, I'm a great fan of Cruzeiro. This tem it's my life! Been following you for some years now, great fan of your content. Keep the hustle brother
GREAT TALENT.
Darwin Nunez catching strays😭
As a Benfica fan, and since we were speaking of his Liverpool teammate, he was the first to come to mind.😅Can't help but love the guys still!
@@RabonaTV bruh its 85% confirm he moves to city
Meanwhile Darwin will win the league this season.

WELCOME TO CITY MARMOUSH !!!
This is some crazy glazing right here.
(loved the vid lol)
As an Egyptian I'm so happy to see 2 humble players represent our country. Couldn't imagine that 2 Egyptians would be 1 and 2 in goals and contributions.
My only worry is the bundesliga, always been a hit or miss but if it goes through I hope he quickly becomes a crowd favorite
City signed KDB Kompany Sane Dzeko Haaland from the Bundesliga, they have a good record.
please break down why egypt is struggling relative to the pool of talent they have
salah, marmoush, mostafa Mohamed, sam morsy
we keep bottling afcon and WC qualifiers
Marmoush is amazing at Frankfurt right now, but i am really concerned a move would be too early and could be problematic. Frankfurt has a track record to get the best out of their strikers, selling them on for insane money, just for them to never come close to their output at the next level. Andre Silva, Sebastian Haller, Nikola Jovic, Kolo Muani all had similar seasons to the one Marmoush is having and all of them were an absolute desaster after the transfer.
And now city nearly have him. Maybe selling Alvarez was smart.
The only players to score 3 freekicks goals in a row are Lionel Messi, Omar Marmoush and CLAUDIO AQUINO. Respect.
Is there any way to support this channel, like buying merch or something? You’re my favorite football channel
Good work👍🏾.... he chose the right team city🎉
OMAR MARMOUSH EGYPTIAN KING 👑
GREAT Cruzeiro shirt!!! 💙💙
i like him as a Nunez replacement playing next to Salah down the middle as a Kane-esque #9
He is coming to city
deal agreed man city have there man lets see what happens next
great video
6:28
Fun Fact: Messi has the highest free kick conversion rate (9.00%) in football history, with over 200 attempted direct free kick shots. Consistency is his middle name.
Could you make a video on Khunasov please.
Egyptian prince is going to rule England with the Egyptian kind Mo salah
Welcome to Man City 💙
Media says man City and marmoush have an agreement, and they accepted 80 mio
I hope see Marmoush with Salah in Liverpool
I'm so afraid of him becoming a one hit wonder like Luka Jovic ended up being after leaving Frankfurt.
I showed the record departures from Eintracht Frankfurt in the intro, and all of them seemed to choose poorly/had a really hard time at their next destination. Marmoush seems to be more technically gifted than at least two of them though, so hopefully he can continue with his great play!
@RabonaTV Well I hope you're right with that optimism. He seems to be a really good player and I want to see him have a long fruitful career in the long run.
Or Kolo Muani. Eintracht strikers don't have the best track record after leaving
And choosing Manchester City, a club that destroy individuality like they did to Grealish is another bad move
@@12thMandalorian It's funny how you guys always mention Grealish but never mention Savio, Doku, Bernardo Silva, Sane, Sterling and Mahrez. You are defining Pep's success with wingers based on one overpriced flop. Come on man.
Watched for the content as a city fan...subbed for another Canadian eh! Cheers.
Nice Cruzeiro kit, were did you buy it?
He’s chosen city over Liverpool!!! I don’t blame him… at city he will win more
Liverpool ain't a serious club..no winners mentality
It's ok for them to win the league once every 5-6 years and It's ok for them to not compete in the champions league every season.
The only way they did what they did is klopp with relying on science but FSG just don't care if it didn't work as soon as it brings them money
He's not an insane player, he's just an average player having a good season.......y'all should stop overhyping players😊
Can we please get a forest video man. Theyre doing so good this season and everyone is ignoring them 😔
If people pay attention they will go down the table stay unnoticed if I were u
Maybe I was too focused on my team but never heard of this guy until he was connected to MC 1-2mo ago 😂
Good on City for moving to sign this guy - proper big club & ambitious energy. The likes of Arsenal on the other hand.....
C I T Y 🔥
This needs to studied carefully. We had situations like this in the past and they resemble nothing that people thought they would be. For example, João Félix, Kai Havertz and Cristopher Nkunku are a few examples in the most recent past. Players that turned out to be number 11's or different types of number 10's (raumdauter for Kai Havertz, specially) and were thought to be playing as a number 9.
the only person who is flat out not what anyone thought was havertz, nkunku also never was a 9 is still 50/50 as Chelsea system doesnt fit him
Felix was never a 9 he is a 10 the thing is no one wants the risk of felix trying a nutmeg when he drops deep as a 10 too much pressure on the defence,
+ this is Pep here..... He rarely misses on this typa stuff.... Alvarez was a super sub player & he hit double G/A in his first season & 2nd... & Marmoush is a better player than Julian... Once he syncs with the team you'll see Pep unleashing a Hybrid false 9 with him something we haven't seen Pep do in a long while for lack of player of quality in that role.... City have another weapon in their case.... We'll see how it pans out...
Give me a heart Rabona TV
Every year a player from bundesliga is highlighted as the next big thing only for him to vanish a year after. Rinse and repeat
I know he's in bundesliga but if we don't consider that he is the best player in the world this season
If you squint, you could be forgiven for thinking you're watching Luis Suarez. Not saying he's as good but the way he moves, turns on the ball, shoots, etc, stylistically, it's very Suarez
many people have also compared his style to peak alexander pato
1:14 come on leave it for us jajajajaj
Wow I didn't know that he's Canadian too
Just imagine Marmoush playing with Salah and for Liverpool. 🙂
No not imagining
sorry he is gonna be your noghtmare
Ur owners are cheap af 😂 not gonna happen mate
Seems like fate created a new Salah, for Liverpool
Citys new signing
Xactly bruv
Flavoured of the month..😂😂😂
Can you make a content about Abdukodir Khusanov!
Coming to city
Here we go
Cruzeiro t-shirt ???? LETSGOOO
Plot twist: Rabona TV is Egyptian.
In all seriousness though, I think if pep is to continue at man city, Marmoush won't shine under him. I think Salah success in his first season has a lot to do with the fact that he was playing under Klopp
1:13 Soon to be the state of Canada, lol #ijoke
Top player but City need to move the ball quicker for any striker to capitalize. The leagues defences have caught up with City.
Disagree that they caught up. I think Rodri's a big miss and the quality of the backups don't cut it. Better deep lying playmakers or getting Rodri back will change a lor
He’s made a good choice with city. People are writing them off. I wouldn’t……
Frankfurt have been producing amazing talent at ST and then after flipping them for a ridiculous fee they don’t produce as well at their new clubs, kinda weird. I feel like Marmoush will do well at city though
No Nunez was harmed in this video😪
0:44 seeing that record board doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
All these forwards have miserably failed their big money moves!
He speaks accent-free German. As a German myself I am very impressed 😮. Unless it was AI…
I think he'll become another robot and would be forced to stop taking on players just like Jack Grealish
That's actually Grealish's fault because when you see Savinho, Doku and even foden on the wing they are more aggressive and take their men on. Even Bernardo Silva who is best in the midfield.
I just think Grealish is washed
What happened to grealish has nothing to do with city
Grealish is just washed, savinho is fine, doku is fine
Grealish isn't just that good
Savinho has the 3rd most dribbles in the Premier League and Doku had the 2nd most dribbles in the Premier league behind Kudus so what happened to grealish has nothing to do with city
Marmoush would represent more of a Julian Alvarez/Gabriel Jesus(at City) type player than a winger
Damn
He is like Seth Rollins, he is more like the freak in football
❤
Is that a retro Cruzeiro jersey?
Yes! A remake, not an original of course. One of my favourites!
So, what's his composure like in front of the goal? Is he pulling off a classic Nunez, where the mere sight of the goalie turns him into a deer caught in headlights, unleashing a blast that makes the ball more interested in the corner flag than the net? Or is he channeling Messi, cool as a cucumber in Antarctica, weaving past defenders like a wizard, nonchalantly chipping over the goalie or caressing the ball into the net with sublime finesse? Because in the world of goal-scoring, if you’re not composing symphonies with your feet and flexing a football IQ that could solve a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded, you’re just there to give the goalpost a workout.
Poetic
Coty have haaland, he doesn't really need t score
❤❤
Is it just me or you two look alike?
Omar Marmoush + Hasan Piker = RabonaTV
Harbiden mı?
Egyptian 🇪🇬
Jovic, Silva, Haller, Kolo Muani. List of strikers that excelled ar eintracht, moved to bigger club and failed. I hope this trend continues if this guy moves to city
You're have a cold heart 💔
@DezzRSA. thank you... I do!
Gundo, Sane, Gvardiol, De Bruyne, Ortega, Haaland, Akanji, and more have been signed and have been good to world class for City from Bundesliga. I don't think they've signed any misses in the last decade from there. Hope the trend continues
@metacommentary6791 well one of the trends will continue i guess... I don't hate Marmoush. In fact I think he is actually very exciting... but i hope city will fail with him in it. Or without him...
Omar marmoush to man city
Marmush is not Salah 😒
Just sayin’
no way you are canadian, I firmly believed you were portuguese because of the way you pronounce some portuguese names and words 😭
Probably portuguese parents. His pronunciation is very portuguese other than that vamos at the beginning of the video
Omar Marmoush or Viktor Gyokeres..... who is better? ...specaially for Barcelona.
Victor
He’s the next kolo Muani. I’m sure this is a purple patch rather than the real thing. Another good example but outside the Bundesliga is vlahovic at fiorentina. He’s 25, if he was actually a player he would have shown something before the age of 25. Gyokeres is on the list as well of strikers I’m unsure of. but he did good in the championship so he might be a player.
Bro man city will cook
Imo similar to Julian Alvarez
11:11
I don't think eye test wise they are very similar at all. Due to both a difference in physique their playing styles are completely different. This is a bad and lazy comparison imo.
I didn't say they look the same stylistically. But I guess my bad for not articulating properly. What I meant was similarity in their impact, as well as what you get out of them: someone who is quick, dangerous through the middle or in wide areas (though Marmoush plays through the middle far, far more of course), fantastic when it comes to take-ons, can both score and set up their teammates in equal measure. Their analytics are quite similar, which I showed toward the end as it brought up direct comparisons to Salah's previous seasons.
