Using a cheap 8-50mm 3MP 1/2 Manual Aperture C-Mount Security lens

It's $40 off Aliexpress and it has an 8-50mm adjustable zoom. It's not a bad hobby lens for the price but it can be difficult to get the focus right. I'm using a GoPro Hero 8 which has been modified to fit C-Mount lenses.

how is the modification made? Do you use the square rim of another lens (ie macro) to put the adapter to C lens? Thanks

Nah, no stabilisation after this mod. It wobbles like me after two beers unfortunately.
