Last time I got arrested for modifying lens I got out on a small bail, as I offered to film the judge's daughter's wedding with them 😂
I got death by electrocution but I managed to get a retrial and only got 5 years
I got sent straight to hell with no bathroom breaks on the trip down for making these bad boys.
Screw the justice system. I skipped out on bail and am now an elemental fugitive.

That Kodaflex mod is wild.
The anamorphic mod looks like fun, too, though you don't need much more than a line strung across your lens to fake that.
I think it merely mimics lens flare, instead of changing the aspect ratio? I guess that should be obvious, but I know nothing about anamorphic lenses.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 yes. The squeeze is the primary purpose of the anamorphic lens, the flares are just a side effect.
Accidentally achieved the same on a recent photoshoot, left a fingerprint on a lens, and didn't have a cleaning wipe.
Cleaned it as much I could, but there was still a very thin film of oil on the lens. By wiping down very carefully, it created perfect horizontal streaks emanating from light sources!
The red oval is supposed to mimic the "squeezed" look of the bokeh from an anamorphic lens and the fishing line to get that flare.
I honestly don't know why it was coloured red, other videos show removing the black from the edges of the internal lens elements and repainting them red instead, then re-assembling.
My best guess is to get red-coloured circular lens flares, along with the blue horizontal flares.
...but I kind-of expect that a screw-in filter on the front of this particular lens* (Jupiter 9) with a black cardboard oval with blue fishing line would produce the same (or better?) result, plus if you don't like it, simply unscrew it.
*Because the front element is right up close to the filter ring, not at the bottom of a conical hole, like a lot of other lenses.
My cousin Leon did 3 years in Chino for lens moding. Would’ve only been 9 months, but the FBI found a stash of like 20 more modified lenses when they searched his house, so…Popped with intent to distribute too.

Also just reversing Helios-44 back lens has a nice dreamy effect, and more sharp bokeh circles. The cons: it becomes kind of macro-mid distance lens

The globular and rubber tube look very similar, approaching angular magnification from different methods. I'd like to see a tilt/shift on each element. I would love to see the bokeh masks out in nature, evening or night in the city, yeah? Maybe a double slit mask if you like new wave. Have you tried enlarger lenses? Good German glass-50mm to 75 would work (Schneider or Omega) with a short extension tube, no other lens needed, fuzzy almost dreamy edges and a crisp center

Probably nowhere, disposable cameras have back focal distance much smaller than Nikon F (don't ask me why I know it)

@@MathieuStern Je m'en suis rendu compte, il faudrait que je recule la lentille de 1.7cm... J'ai déjà un design qui est à quelques millimètres du miroir mais je n'ai pas encore pris le temps de l'imprimer !
Avec un peu de chance je serais à la limite de la Flange mais sinon je pensais essayer de pousser le système avec deux lentilles bien positionnées... A suivre...

The correct name of the lens is not Mir 1 “B”, but the Mir 1 “V” lens. (The lens is signed in Russian) this is the Russian letter V ->В, not the English letter B ->Б. they are similar, but differ in meaning and sound. (I don’t know why, but Google Translate doesn’t translate correctly either)

Lens police had a sharp eye on my for quite some aperture of time and even published a mug shot.
When they at last triggered to freezing my doing, it struck me like a flash and they shut me away in a dark room.
Judge said, the claims were a bit unsharp at the first curtain, but once they filtered the fog, they had a clear image of my guilt.
They charged me for forgery of digital effects, focal length fraud, forcing bokeh and doing a lot of other things in the shadows!
The process developed for quite some days until they stopped it and projected the full display.
I threw in objective arguments, focussing on the fact, no ones image had been damaged, but things stayed gray for me.
As this wasn't my first proof of crime, the jury considered me a serial modder, so no chance to soften the verdict.
Guess i will swap lenses^h^h^h^hlentils for beans for at least 4000000s and see the world through F0.6 at 100 lumen.
