    Hi seeing these little gnome took me back over 20 years, I made Santa gnomes with gumnuts, the gum nuts I used were big, they originally grow in western Australia and they were just right for the purpose 😊

    I am watching your video and I am excited to make the gnome ornaments. I want to be sure that I am understand the size of the hat pattern. Is one side of the triangle 4.5" and the other 5" and the bottom 3.5"?

    I love these. The white stuff around the hat. I didn’t hear you say what or where you get that. I want to do this with the ladies circle at church and with another group of ladies at the fire Dept

    I know you posted this over a year ago but I’ve only just come across it and want to have a go. Can you tell me please what the white trimming is. I’ve looked on line but can’t find anything similar. I’m in uk but if I have an idea of what it is I can look. Thanks for your help.

      Greetings Lyn. The white trim is a yarn. I know most the major craft retailers here in the states carry the yarn. I use the same yarn for my Santa coat trim. I am sure I show the yarn in that video.

    do you buy the pine cones or gather from outdoors?

      I have seen them for sale at Joann’s and Hobby Lobby but I get mine from outdoors. I actually drove around my area looking for pine trees.

    Love these! I was looking to see if you listed the materials you used as I was curious about the hat trim, but did not see a list. I did read all comments and see that it is a fluffy yarn you got at Hobby Lobby. I definitely want to make some of these to sell at a few craft fairs I have coming up.

      Yes this a yarn from Hobby Lobby. I have sold hundreds of the gnome ornaments. They should go well for you at craft fairs.

      The faux fur for the beards I have gotten from Hobby Lobby, Joann’s, and on line through Etsy. The trim is a yarn from Hobby.
