Hey @InfimaGames I don't understand how can i use the addon you said to put my skeleton. Do i need to do this if i want a custom character in ue5? I have a character in UE5 retargeted to ue5 mannequin btw
Hey mate, I believe if your character is using the UE5 Manny skeleton then this rig should work, since it's UE5 manny rig. You may have to do some skeleton switching or animation retargeting in Unreal but it should work "relatively easily". But I am not 100% sure. I will test that :)
Hi i got a problem, every moment i enter in the folder "Collection" to look for RIG UE5 Manny... Nothing appears, just another folder named "Collection" no manny no meshes, no nothing... What did i do wrong?
hi infima games, when I want to import animations into unreal engineye I get the following error ' Mesh contains CB_root bone as root but animation doesn't contain the root track ' I can't solve this problem. I wonder where I'm going wrong.
Make sure that you checked the "Only Deform Bones" option under "Armature" in the fbx export settings, otherwise it will export the entire rig including the controller bones which are not needed inside of Unreal Engine, and that will cause issues since the UE5 mannequin doesn't have them by default.

We can perform all the actions you did in this video series for different weapons and tools, right? For example, things like an axe, hammer, camera, tablet, case, laptop, or camera. In other words, if we follow these steps to make something a usable tool, will I be successful?
I have found a workaround, however your model must be based on the UE5 Mannequin. Simply remove the arms that included iun the series. import your arms then on object mode select the armature and then the arms, thenb press CTRL+P -> Armature Deform, and its done. hope this helps anyone

I got my own arm model now, and i know how to rig this(because I learned another tutorial from David,appreciated that too! 👍Amazing tutorial!). But I can’t create the bone ‘metacarpal’ like you did.I try I to create these metacarpal bone , it’s not smooth when I moving the hand.I bought this addon just when u introduced in this video😂, but it’s a little complex and seems I can’t find where’s the specific function to create/convert rig like this. Can you make a video about how to use / or without this addon to rig the same mannequin fps hand?Very appreciate!
