What I can’t figure is with the affluence that lives there the public schools are not good. The best towns are usually the best ones because of the schools.
I've heard people say that about the schools before, but I honestly don't know why. All my friends, clients, and coworkers who have put their kids through JCC/WBG schools have had fantastic experiences. The site I use for school ratings, Niche.com, gives them an A- and ranks them as the 10th best school district in the state of Virginia. Do you have kids in the school system there?
@macconstruction9431 man, that is crazy talk. I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience living here, but Williamsburg is a fantastic town, and in many people's opinions, one of the best places to live on the East Coast. Calling it a "whole" [sic] is ridiculous
@movingtohamptonroads I know people whose life did nothing but improve after leaving that place, I have to vist there because my family is there and even the thought of it turns my stomach, I do travel quite a bit, by far Williamsburg is the worst
The drive colonial parkway is prettiest drive in Virginia
Very true, but be careful there are still several unsolved murders that have taken place on this parkway over the years.

Williamsburg is absolutely horrible, born and raised in Williamsburg, only a fool would want to live in that whole
