I believe they were the first to introduce this pivot button lock. But reate released theirs before the production of these was finished. I love my truffles.
You always make me giggle; being confined to bed, that means a lot!! Thank you! I do really love this knife! Might have to add to my collection, depending on the steel!😊
I actually was cut by one of the knife makers while at blade show atlanta. Michael gave me on of those bandaids. it was so funny to walk around blade show with a bandaid that said blade show battle scar. Love my Truffles. Great reverse pivot button reverse liner lock.
Nice knife! Check out the Gerber Paul knife from the early eighties (I think the design was later implemented by Lone Wolf Knives). Back then Gerber was a highly respected knife company (in Oregon, prior to Fiskars purchase).
I'll be the guy I guess that says that crkt had the deadbolt lock years ago. It wasn't drop shut smooth like the ones that are coming out now but it was the first push in pivot lock and it was maybe 4-5 years ago 😬
You're all wrong. The Paul lock predates what CRKT did. Take a look at Gerber Paul lock knives. Then about 15 years ago a little knife company in Oregon named Lone Wolf made a run of cool Paul lock knives. Then Benchmade bought Lone Wolf and shelved all the cool autos and Paul locks and killed the brand. Long story short, Paul lock predates all other pivot locks (and is also just cooler and more complex from an engineering stance) and Benchmade sucks (per usual). Honestly surprised I'm the one explaining this, I haven't touched even a fraction of the knives you have.

Wrong, Gerber and Lone Wolf had a much more complex and highly engineered pivot lock over 20 years ago.
Thanks Kole

My pleasure sharing a bed with you 😏🤣
The Truffles is a awesome knife, I was able to get one in the first run. And the different color accents are great to.
Same! Very impressive indeed!
Got mine from the kickstarter and it’s a slicing machine and reversible pocket clip sealed the deal, Thanks Kole 😎

I agree. This knife is legitimately fascinating. And under $200. Fainting as I type.
Thanks so much for the vid man! Melody and I just posted a reaction video on our channel. 🤘🏻🤓

Poopoo button lock
Take notes. It also has a REVERSIBLE pocket clip, and it's way more affordable than yours and it looks way better.
