Ji, Imtiaz ji, China waale bahut powerful signal transmit karte hain..SW par bhi FM jaise saaf chalte hain. Khule mein ja kar Radio sun ne ka anand hi kuch aur hai. Shaam ke samay MW par bahut kuch aata hai. Sun ne wala hona chahiye bas. Bahut bahut shukriya.
जी, जब मेरे पास ये मंहगे रेडियो नहीं थे, तब भी मैंने जब भी Xhdata D-808 को दिखाया तब-तब बताया था कि न केवल ये अपनी कीमत के रेडियों का राजा है अपितु अपने से दोगुनी कीमत वाले रेडियों को धूल चटाने का मादा रखता है।
नमस्कार सर बहुत अच्छा वीडियो है और यह सही कह रहे हैं कि भाई इसकी कीमत वीडियो बहुत अच्छा है और यह दो रेडी बड़े महंगे हैं उनकी बराबरी कोई नहीं कर सकता है
Thanks for a nice comparision, but I have one doubt. When all the radios are switched on and placed very near to each others then they may take advantage to receive the R.F. stages of others. Potentiometer of volume control can control only audio signals of amplifier section to reach the signals to the speaker. It can't cut off the power of the whole circuit. So, powerful RF signals of one radio can boost the actual receiving capacity of the other radios in its vicinity.
Thanks so very much. Actually, they can't help or disturb each other. We are not dealing with macro voltages here. If that was so, S-2000 won't have lost to D-808 in previous comparison on SW. Actually, if we go in this much detail, then I can't ever make a comparison video, because someone will say this Radio was in left side and that one in right, why didn't you switch sides. Someone will say make the Antennas of equal height and someone will oppose it. Someone will say maybe reception conditions changed by the time you switched to the second Radio. Someone will ask to add some other circuit to make the bandwidths equal and so on.

And if XHDATA could deal with this device's Soft Muting both in feeble signals and while tuning in their future upgradations, 808 will reign the Portable DXers segment single handedly. 73! 🙏
Harshit ji, namaskar. Yes, indeed D-808 is one of those Radios which will be remembered forever. With time it will attain the status of a cult classic. And that is exactly why when it gets sold in 6400/- INR, and people ask me if they should buy it, I somehow calm myself down and say - yes, of course (while in my heart I am telling myself - what else do you want my friend, this is a loot already 😂😆😂😆)
@@pravindersheoranji, HaHa! Rightly Said Sir. Investment of 6-7k onto a radio for an Indian, it's a mind boggling affair from a first glance. But yet again, one need to understand, you get what you pay for. And XHDATA is already giving more than what's paid. My another personal favs from Tecsun are PL-880 and 330. Highly regarded receivers among westerners. 880 being 1.75x costlier then D-808 and in contrary 330 being 1.45x cheaper. Cannot say 880 justifies the price tag it holds but I have observed 330 competing with their elder brothers neck to neck. One thing I am sure of, Tecsun never let their customers down. And that is something beautifully proved by you too in your review and comparison videos. I have never experienced SSB before. The upcoming comparison video would definitely a must watch. Another small update: Received Station Reception Report Confirmation mail from NHK Japan Officials. Fingers crossed for QSL as no mentions by them in the mail despite of mentioning my residential address previously. 73! 🙏

Xhdata Radios are great in reception but unable to provide that kind of sound. D-109 is an exception though, its sound is great. I wish D-808 had the sound of D-109; it would have become immortal.

I think there will definitely be future upgradations to XHDATA's line up. But, it will all come with a cost. I hope XHDATA's R&D team will do the needful wherever required to keep the prices and QCs at bay. Also Sir, this evening at 17 :30, I was successfully able to hunt down RNZ Pacific at 13755 kHz with PL-380. R-9012 and D219 accompanied alongwith the very next with just in-built whip. Sent the reception report to Officials. The signal was on a weaker side, muffled yet audible. PL-380's Bandwidth at 4 kHz was the total game changer. 73! 🙏
