Jab aap kuch din sun lein to fir aap Xhdata D-109 ya R-108 par ja sakte hain. Ye D-808 jitne mahange nahin hain par solid hain. Aap Xhdata D-219 bhi le sakte hain.
Dilip ji, yes, it's a great Radio. S-2000 is also a solid Radio but it's old and Analog that's why it was hard for it to compete with D-808 which is based on latest dsp chip.
Namaskar Sir. What a great presentation of SW Rivalry! S-2000 and D-808 bestowed their finest but XHDATA held that edge from the very first comparison video and didn't let that streak to snap. Your comparisons and the abilities D-808 holds encouraged me to wislist this Receiver asap. But I also heard that new 2023 variant of D-808 got some flaws with missing SW Filters and many Radio Lovers are preferring the old model. Which unfortunately are all out of stock now. I request that if you get a chance, please compare both your and new variant of D-808.This would help many Radio Enthusiasts who wish to upgrade their equipment for DXing. Also, an amazing find with a clear reception of RNZ Pacific. As the information I gathered, they relay to Oceania region solely and hunting that singal down sitting thousands of miles away is in itself an achievement. Keep up the great work. Thanks so very much Harshit ji for liking the video and encouraging my efforts. One aim of this channel is to preserve SW band and to provide quality information to the youngsters about SW band. The new D-808 is equally well or rather superior to the older version on SW band even without those filters because of additional changes in the circuit. In one or two things it could be slightly less capable than older version in some minor fields. But overall, they are both equally great, as far as I know. So no worries.

Dear Joshi Ji, As per my understanding, there are three versions of the D-808 with slight modification to the circuits and charging ports. However as far as the FILTERs are concerned, I believe that the first version had those large size toroid wound coils (L-C circuits), whereas in the next version the coils were replaced with SMD based filter components and hence one can see the difference in the motherboard layout. Hopefully a UA-cam video (Titled - "Is Older XHDATA D808 Better Than Newer XHDATA D808 ? Watch This | Russian Number Station on D808") will clarify most of your doubts on the 3 versions of the D-808. Xhdata D-808. By a narrow margin. In 11 m band, at 25800 kHz, Tecsun S-2000 failed to catch a signal but D-808 caught it mildly. But overall, the sound quality of S-2000 proved to be superior.
They don't have a direct method to know how many listeners are listening, but indirect methods like surveys or the number of emails or messages or letters they get could be used as a tool to guess the number of people listening to them
