मीडियम वेव के स्टेशन जो प्रसारण करते थे उनमें स्थानीयता की झलक दिखती थी आज बहुत से लोकल स्टेशन को या तो बंद कर दिया गया या fm मे कंवर्ट कर दिया गया है. बॉलीवुड ज्यादा हावी हो गया है. रेडियो के रिसेप्सन के लिहाज़ से भरी भरकम सेट बेहतर रिसेप्सन देते देखे गए हैं. सुंदर तुलना.

MW में tecsun s2000 ने बाज़ी मार ली। पर इतने कम दाम पर xhdata 808 ने बढ़िया काम किया। कई दूसरे वीडियो में xhdata d808 ने इससे ज्यादा mw चैनल्स पकड़े थें। बहुत ही शानदार प्रस्तुति प्रविंदर भाई।

आज तो दूनिया के सबसे मंहगे रेडियो ने अपनी क्लास दिखा दी। इस रेडियो में जरूर कुछ बात है। मीडियम वेव का अलग से दिया गया एंटीना तो गजब ही ढा रहा है।ढेर कसूता रेडियो है यू। मीडियम वेव पर इस रेडियो का कोई जोड़ नहीं है।
😂आपके पीछे खडी भैंसों ने भी बता दिया कि यह रेडियो उन्हें भी सुना दो।😂😂😂😂

Aaj S-2000 ka din tha apni kabliyat dikhaane ka.
Greetings of the day Sir and quite a performance by all three legendary WB Receivers. PL-660 felt a lil jittery and D-808 tried best to K.O. S-2000. But ultimately, a long ferrite external adjustable antenna paired with good sound took away the deserving spotlight. Even that buffalo down somewhere sealed the deal to go with S-2000 for MW Reception!!
A small update: Received an e-QSL from BBC World Service and Station Reception Confirmation e-mail update from Bangladesh Betar's Senior Engineer, Research and Receiving Centre. Betar's QSL and Letter in transit. 73! 🙏

@@pravindersheoranji, would be waiting for SW Comparison between these beautiful pieces of machinary. And Thank You Sir, you are absolutely right. Station Reception Report, a standard practice is a huge moral boost for shrinking SW Transmissions from distant stations that help them keep going. For sure many other factors including financing plays a huge role to keep SW broadcasts running, but reception reports does give these professionals a gentle nudge that they are being heard miles away in the even midst of QRM and tech. development chaos! 73! 🙏
@@h.joshi_ ji, yes, so very true. A report will certainly boost their confidence and give them a reason to happily broadcast what they are permitted to do in given budget constraints.

Dear Pravinder Ji,
Once again, a very nice, on the spot, side-by-side practical comparison and review of the MW Band on all three top of the line radios, viz S-2000, PL-660 and D-808.
In one of your earlier video review (about 9 days old - Video Titled - "MW comparison of Tecsun S-2000 & Xhdata D-808 Radios | जानकारी से भरा विडियो |") you had compared the MW Band between the S-2000 & D-808 (it was a general comparison). You had then rightly mentioned that the table-top S-2000 radio had a distinct advantage over other portable radios because of its large rotatable MW antenna (which obviously has a bigger and better designed Ferrite Rod). Hence, IMO, I feel that all three radios performed almost equally well on the MW Band.
However, in this review, the PL-660 did lag behind a bit while trying to pull-in couple of weaker stations. But that could PROBABLY be due to the positioning of the Antenna Gain Switch (DX - Normal - Local). This is just an assumption - You would know better. 😊
Nevertheless, overall its a very good review. Thank you so much for your time and untiring efforts in educating us and making us understand the RADIO better. I'm very grateful. Keep up the great work sir! 😊

Thanks very much for appriciation. Today the MW comparison went one step ahead. And I am happy with all 3 Radios. I can assure you, Antenaa attenuation was on Dx mode in PL-660, I am not sure if it affects the MW band, I will try now if it does.

Pravin ji Please Compare Those Radios With the Sihuadon R-108,in terms of Sw,MW And FM reception.
Maybe Sihuadon R108 radio is Small And Compact, But it has a few similar functions to Xhdata D808.
Except FM (where I compared R-108 with D-808 and it lost to D-808), R-108 is equal in MW/SW reception to D-808.
Pravinder ji,mene apka answer pahle pad liya tha jo incomplete tha.Apne kaha tha ki 901 yaha nahi milega jabki mere ko USA se purchase karna hai.Mujhey apke aur apney dono ke samay ki chinta hey.
Rajender ji, aapko usake baad aur bhi answer maine likha tha ki D901 ki jagah D109 kahin jyada better Radio hai. Aur D109 yahan sale mein aapko 3100-3200 ka mil jayega. Agar aap USA ja hi rahe hain to koyi aisa Radio laayein jo yahan nahin milta, jaise ki Tecsun PL330.

Pagaria R-917 hai, Veemax hai. Local market se bhi mil jayega aapko kuch. Xhdata D-219 bhi jabardast hai.

Anurag ji, actually it's a great Radio for SW Band and even for FM, good sound and build. But for MW, I don't recommend it.
