a friend had one. hard to describe how it made me feel. it looked so badass, sharp and sophisticated. I miss sega so much. I miss elaborately designed consoles. dreamcast was a banger too.
Shining force 3 Shining the holy ark Dark savior Dragón force Panzer dragoon 2 Panzer dragoon saga Guardian heroes King of fighters 95 Street fighter alpha 2 X men vs street fighter Legend of oasis Shinobi legions Fighter megamix Albert odyssey What memories I have from that gem of console
Sega's internal conflict between their Japanese and American HQs was the Direct Cause of their Downfall. They have got no one else to blame but themselves. The Stuck Up and Completely Out of Touch Japanese Executives completely destroyed whatever chances they had. I'm surprised they didn't commit Seppuku publicly for the Absolute Shame and Failure they brought to Sega. 🙂
Still seems odd to me how Sega was one of the leaders of breakthrough 3D graphics in the early 90's arcades. While always boasting about "bringing the arcade home".. They even had a decent port of the 3D Virtua Racing on the Genesis! Yet, they designed their mid-to late 90's "next gen" console, to be 2D.. Only tacking on some 3D capability after learning that the PS1 was going to be a 3D beast.. Such a monumental mistake, possibly what started Sega's console manufacturing downfall..
