I have not made these YET but they look fantastic! I have also never heard of that flour brand/blend so I am excited to order it. It has been a long time since eating a GOOD bagel and these look mouthwatering!!!!
Glad you found the channel. The brand I love using is called: Frankie's. There are a few places in Southern Ontario that carry their brand and you can also order directly from their website at: www.glutenfreefrankies.com
Hi. Frankie's breadmix can be purchased online at glutenfreefrankies.com, or Amazon.com or in person at Willowtree Farm Market in Port Perry or Pingles Farm Market in Oshawa or Nature's Emporium in Newmarket.
Love your videos!! Educational, yummy, and wholesome! When you laugh or chuckle, so do I! Fantastic job, Joel. I look forward to trying my hand at bagel making! You're inspirational!!
Hi Chef Joel - I have C4C GF flour that I have been using for a couple of years now. Is it possible to make your bagels recipe using the flour that I already have Instead of buying another one? Please help and thank you so much for responding. Raquel
Hi there Raquel, Thanks for commenting. You can certainly try. Using a general all purpose flour blend you'll need to add yeast, a bit of sugar (to feed the yeast and get it started) and watch your viscosity as when baking gluten-free bread it will need to be much sloppier than a traditional wheat yeasted bread. Use the bagel video as a source of stickiness guideline.
Hey Nick, Yeah, Frankie's is working on getting itself onto Amazon to offer its gluten free all purpose flour onto the market in the US, and further. It should be available in September.

Thanks for watching.
Hi for the bread mix. Do you add yeast on it or not? Thanks
Hi. Thanks for the comment. If it's Frankie's bread mix, then no. The yeast and everything is already added to the mix.
Cool man! My mum thought you get the sheen on bagels by using oil lol
Just a little bit of oil, sometimes, but the sheen comes out when you boil the bagels in the sweetened water. Thanks for watching.

Great recipe. Unfortunately I can't seem to buy the flour in the States.

Vegetable oil is real bad for your heart.
Olive oil is good
Olive oil is great. I love using olive oil.
I find too much of anything can be bad for your health. It's always good to eat things in moderation.
How about cinnamon and raisins
How much ?
