Kid got his first tom just cutting randomly in long sequences, wasn't responding to yelps but the cuts were driving a couple toms nuts. Crazy birds!
The only UA-cam turkey hunter I watch these days. All good advice from a regular ole turkey hunter.
I took my buddy to the ooen season show in Columbus, he challenged every turkey call maker to a session.
I brought my lil sly and left it in the truck.
Had no idea spring fever had a booth or Matt Dale was going to be there.
I came around the corner and saw the display and note I had my lil sly, then a voice like sausage gravy and a delivery like butter hitting a hot biscuit said; I'll sign it for you;.
Needless to say I went back to my truck.
I hammered a boss Tom in Virginia this morning, using your advice about not yelping in the same rhythm. Maybe he woulda walked by if I had made no sound, maybe not. This is my third year turkey hunting. Either way I had confidence in what I was doing. Thanks for making the videos.

I’m hunting North Fauquier county. I found this property doing electrical work for deer hunting permission. Turns out it’s an awesome turkey hunting property, I live an hour away from it so it keeps me from hunting it every day which is a blessing. Or else I’d be studying dales videos on pressures gobblers 😂. Good luck this year

I like to mix mine up a little bit. Starting off real soft and quiet. Then increasing in volume and intensity if I get no response. Then I back down if the gobbler starts moving closer

Ordered my lil sly Friday got it in this morning! I can tell just by playing around with it today it is going to be a turkey killing call! I loved it so much I went to order the ole sly and now there sold out! I’m gonna keep checking though! If you haven’t ordered the lil sly yet you better get on it! Me and my cousin went to join the local part of the NWTF here and they didn’t act like they wanted us to join oh well. It was a bunch of people with a little money is why.

Hey Dale when your making those 3 note yelps or your assembly yelps,what kind of mouth call are you using? One with straight reeds or some sort of bat wing cut ?
Youre al over it dale. To many youtube, cell camera, no woodsmanship, foodplot(baiters) hunters.
