Such as Ki Adi Mundi being one of the only few Jedi given an exception to form a connection and have children simply because of his species' low birth rate. In comics Ki Adi Mundi ends up with 5 wives and many many children, and after they've grown up he distances himself from in accordance with the Jedi Order. In several audio books written my Lucasfilm themselves, there are many references to Ki Adi Mundi's children dying but Ki Adi Mundi refuses to go home as he had important work to attend to in the temple. The fact I understand this lore/canon shows that I know what canon means. And you clearly don't actually care you just want to be a Disney Apologist. Disgrace!

I mean, if Disney can easily reject legends and say that their movies and tv shows are canon just by saying so, we can easily reject Disney Star Wars canon and accept legends just by saying so.

All Jedi who faced the Sith are dead. The potential apprentice memory wiped. And the one Jedi who learned about the truth through force echoes covered up the story as it was her former Padawan who was behind.
Since everyone is so dead set on using Ki-Adi's Legends age, let's use Legends lore to explain why the timeline hasn't been contradicted yet. There were non-Sith Darksiders who popped up during the 1000 years between Bane and Palpatine. Notably one of Yoda's species fought a Darksider on Dagobah and led to the creation of the Dark Side Cave there. There seems to be a misconception that being a Darksider automatically makes you a Sith. Sith is a philosophical code based in the Dark Side, it is not the Dark Side itself. Ki-Adi has no evidence to suggest that this particular masked Darksider is a follower of Sith Philosophy. As far as the Jedi know, all Sith teachings have either been destroyed or are under lock and key. From an in-universe Jedi perspective, it doesn't make sense for this man to be a Sith. The Acolyte has not been good. There are a lot of issues with the writing and with the direction. But let's not hyperfocus on the lore issues that actually are not issues okay?

The Jedi literally say that they think Mae was trained by a member of their order gone rogue. 2) Being blind to the coming darkness and the existence of the Sith is literally one of the main flaws of the Jedi. In Tales of the Jedi Dooku says "I've been warning about the coming darkness for years". The Jedi don't listen, they think Dooku is jumping to conclusions. By showing Ki Adi Mundi in denial about the Sith, they further emphasize that flaw in the Jedi Order

The writers deliberately put Ki Adi Mundi in this series just to piss us off and get us angry. What other reason why they would put the one character who proclaim the sith were extinct for millennia in the Jedi’s point of view? These writers hate us. They don’t care about the product or the fans, they just want a reaction that they cannot get by simply being human.

That’s true, they don’t jump to the conclusion that it’s a Sith in the episode. The problem with that is that in the end of the episode they literally meet the Sith. There’s no way the writers can escape that plot hole through reason and logic

Sith was never mentioned. They think Mae was possibly trained by a rogue Jedi but even then they don't know. We don't know what happens to the Jedi who run into the Sith - they may all die by the end of the series.
They might all die and it might turn out Darth Smiley isn’t a Sith at all, but just based on what we know so far from the series it conflicts with the existing lore. Hopefully it will all be rectified by the end of the show!

I don’t remember him ever being corrupt, but perhaps it’s something in legends you’re thinking of? He was always portrayed as being a little bit arrogant, but this show in particular is making all the Jedi look overly arrogant, selfish, and corrupt beyond the point that they should even be able to use the force at all.
First, Ki Adi Mundi's age was only confirmed in a Legends story and is not canon so that squashes that complaint. Second we do not know if Qimir is even a Sith.

Not every dark jedi is a Sith. Sith is a rather specific term. In the period of The Acolyte, Siths rather try to stay hidden than try to murder some Jedi
when it comes to a dark side Force-user wielding a red lightsaber who kills Jedi and is training an acolyte, what name they go by is inconsequential. The argument that this scene is at all justified because "they aren't specifically a Sith, sooo..." is like walking into a jungle and being chased by an alligator and screaming "AGH! crocodile!" and then someone correcting you by saying, "well actually, it's an alligator, sooo...". So whether the master identifies as a 'sith' or not doesn't matter when they display all the characteristics of a Sith and therefore ARE a sith in all but name. To the Jedi, it shouldnt be such a big distinction, because even if by the end of the show it turns out that the master ISNT a sith, then his presence, his ability to use the dark side, the fact that he is training an acolyte, and his mysterious appearance all suggest that he is related to the sith in one way or another, or is at least just as bad as one

If you just think about it there would be some explanation as to why. And we got it. All Jedi who faced the Sith are dead. The potential apprentice memory wiped. And the one Jedi who learned about the truth through force echoes covered up the story as it was her former Padawan who was behind.
Since everyone is so dead set on using Ki-Adi's Legends age, let's use Legends lore to explain why the timeline hasn't been contradicted yet. There were non-Sith Darksiders who popped up during the 1000 years between Bane and Palpatine. Notably one of Yoda's species fought a Darksider on Dagobah and led to the creation of the Dark Side Cave there.
There seems to be a misconception that being a Darksider automatically makes you a Sith. Sith is a philosophical code based in the Dark Side, it is not the Dark Side itself. Ki-Adi has no evidence to suggest that this particular masked Darksider is a follower of Sith Philosophy. As far as the Jedi know, all Sith teachings have either been destroyed or are under lock and key. From an in-universe Jedi perspective, it doesn't make sense for this man to be a Sith.
The Acolyte has not been good. There are a lot of issues with the writing and with the direction. But let's not hyperfocus on the lore issues that actually are not issues okay?
There are theories that the master isnt a sith lord, and is simply a dark side user. Or the jedi Will cover up the entire incident featuring him

The Jedi literally say that they think Mae was trained by a member of their order gone rogue. 2) Being blind to the coming darkness and the existence of the Sith is literally one of the main flaws of the Jedi. In Tales of the Jedi Dooku says "I've been warning about the coming darkness for years". The Jedi don't listen, they think Dooku is jumping to conclusions. By showing Ki Adi Mundi in denial about the Sith, they further emphasize that flaw in the Jedi Order

The writers deliberately put Ki Adi Mundi in this series just to piss us off and get us angry. What other reason why they would put the one character who proclaim the sith were extinct for millennia in the Jedi’s point of view? These writers hate us. We don't know what happens to the Jedi who run into the Sith - they may all die by the end of the series.
They might all die and it might turn out Darth Smiley isn’t a Sith at all, but just based on what we know so far from the series it conflicts with the existing lore. Hopefully it will all be rectified by the end of the show!

No surviving jedi will even hear the word sith be uttered. Hell, that's if the sith tell anyone what they are, which I doubt will happen, exactly because that, and olny then, it would break canon. Now, as it stands, it does not.

That seems to be the way they’re going, but that just makes him and the entire Jedi council look like the bad guys. Plus what reason would he have to lie in the prequels if Qui-Gon has already encountered a Sith? Surely he would warn the council and tell them everything he and the other Jedi discovered 100 years prior

Not every dark jedi is a Sith. Sith is a rather specific term. In the period of The Acolyte, Siths rather try to stay hidden than try to murder some Jedi
when it comes to a dark side Force-user wielding a red lightsaber who kills Jedi and is training an acolyte, what name they go by is inconsequential. The argument that this scene is at all justified because "they aren't specifically a Sith, sooo..." is like walking into a jungle and being chased by an alligator and screaming "AGH! crocodile!" and then someone correcting you by saying, "well actually, it's an alligator, sooo...".
So whether the master identifies as a 'sith' or not doesn't matter when they display all the characteristics of a Sith and therefore ARE a sith in all but name. To the Jedi, it shouldnt be such a big distinction, because even if by the end of the show it turns out that the master ISNT a sith, then his presence, his ability to use the dark side, the fact that he is training an acolyte, and his mysterious appearance all suggest that he is related to the sith in one way or another, or is at least just as bad as one

So it makes more sense that they would expect it to be some go rogue Jedi who trained these, then long lost Sith Master resurfacing from nowhere. Plus at this point, it can still end up being like this. We don't know who The Master really is. The sith could be just a mask. ;)

A Sith is someone who learn the ways of the Sith by a Sith Master following the Rule of Two, During TCW Ventress and Asajj where no sith, Maul was a Rival but after is defeat he leave the title Darth and Call himself Maul and is no longer a Sith
It's like a Jedi every Lightside force user who wield a Blue/Green/Yellow/Purple/White Blade is not a Jedi, Ahsoka is no jedi because she left the Order, same for Dooku after he left the order or Ty Yorrick from the book

I get the complaints about this show, but I don't know why people bring this up. At this point there was no confirmation that anyone was a Sith. Just because there's a "bad guy" with the force doesn't mean they're Sith.

And there is plenty of confirmation that they are Sith. For one, Qimir literally says he’s a Sith. Secondly, Darth Plagueis is in the final episode which means that either Qimir is a Sith or he’s at least pretending to be one and caught the attention of the real Sith. Either way it is illogical writing.
