Thank you so much for another great video… I finally got a delivery date for my Model X LR. I pick up next Friday the 18th…. Your videos have made the wait so much more bearable! I will continue to watch and learn together
Question for you all. I got a estimated delivery date range this morning of March 15-March 31st. Does that happen first? Or does a Vin happen first? Or this this going to be a fake out?
@@brandoncardenas8564 you are in the right order. I got a EDD range of mar 10 - mar 31…. Then about a week later I got the VIN, and later that day my EDD range changed to Mar 16 - Mar 22…. Then about 3 days later I got the text asking me to pick a delivery date and time
@@joelrnyc325 thanks so much!!! I’m cautiously optimistic at this point. This would be the second time I have gone through this for my MXP. But that is great news. Congrats!
@@brandoncardenas8564 Hi Brandon. My experience with the delivery of both my Tesla's has always been with the VIN. My delivery date for the X kept getting pushed back for a little over a year. So that delivery date is just an estimate. When you receive your VIN is when the delivery is getting close. Sorry to be the bad news messenger.
Hopefully, we will get the horn on the center or the yoke pretty soon, as a Telsa announcement stated last week. (unpausing the video to see the rest!) I enjoy so much all of your content!
Thank you so much. I've learned a lot about editing, filming and just being creative. I hope that they move your delivery date up and thanks for the support!
@@teslaownersperspective1968 Highly surpassed in most ways.. I see the shortcomings in a couple others. Overall: Very excited. Will send photos when we don’t have snow ruining them haha
I have been watching your videos before I took delivery of my brand new 2022 Tesla Model X Plaid last week, and I still watch them today. It's my first BEV ever and I love it. (I do have a fully pimped electric golf cart) but I digress! Keep up the good work and I hope to continue to learn from you. Regards.
Hi Randy. Welcome to the Tesla family. Id say welcome to the electrified family but you already the pimped out electric golf cart. 😁 Thanks for supporting the channel. Greatly appreciated!
can you try wedging an apple or orange on the Yoke and see if it tricks the Software into thinking your holding the wheel? They make counterweights for this reason... I would love to know if you can avoid touching the wheel every 30 seconds....
I think that there are videos out there on UA-cam showing that but I honestly don't think I want to try that. Great suggestion but I think I'll pass on that one. 🤷🏼
Great channel! I subscribed last month. Quick question the FWDs. When the car I parked in your garage and you open the FWDs all the way and if you measure from the floor to the maximum height of the FWDs. -- how much ceiling height do you need? I got the garage door motors and rails there and when the garage door is open then even less clearance etc. Thanks!
The doors have sensors so they stop about a foot away from the rails of the garage door opener. If you have a normal size height in your garage you shouldn't have a problem. They're very sensitive. I haven't had a scare yet where I thought that they were going to hit. Im not sure what the max height is but even if your garage is lower in height than a typical garage the doors will still open enough for you to get in. I hope this answers your question if not let me know and I'll take a measuring tape to the garage and measure for you. Thanks for the support and for watching!
@@teslaownersperspective1968. Thanks! I measured and from the floor to the bottom of the garage motor - it's only 7 ft 7 inches in my garage. If you wouldn't mind measuring the max height of the FWDs - it would be much appreciated.
Hi again! This is my second post. Did you consider that your driveway might be sloped slightly toward your driver’s side? That might explain why a few drops of rain dripped under your driver side falcon wing door but not under your passenger side falcon wing door. What do you think? Separate subject: my wife and I are wondering what you do for a living. She noticed all the animation figures around your computer and wonders if you are an animator? :)) Sorry, I don’t mean to pry into your personal life. Thanks.
Hi Flyshacker. You have great point there. I didn't even think about that. When I attempt this again I'll do it while parked on the street and not the driveway. In regards to your second questions Im not an animator but my daughter hopes to be animator when she grows up. Im just a UA-camr. 😎
My wife and I are concerned the FW doors could hurt our 3 year old daughter by shutting down on her. You think that’s a valid concern or has Tesla implemented enough safety software to mitigate this concern?
Hmmmm...When Im done helping my daughter with her homework I'll put myself in the line of fire and I'll have my daughter close the door while Im standing near it and see if it closes on me. Give me a little while and I'll get back to you.
@@teslaownersperspective1968 Thanks. I’m more concerned with the FW door closing on her arm, leg, or fingers. Anyway you could sacrifice a cucumber? Lol. But I’m actually serious. Thanks for all the videos. Your intro clip with the camera falling is the best.
I couldn’t agree more. The yoke makes it fun to drive again. Bah humbug to those who criticize it without actually driving with it. Keep these fun videos coming. I always thought about doing my own Tesla videos, but sincerely you’ve done them better than I would so why bother.
I thought Tesla made a huge mistake when they replaced the "wheel" but I was so wrong. It's the funnest part of the car besides the falcon wing doors and the coolest. Thanks so much for the great compliment and the support!
Hi! I heard that Tesla is supposed to push out a software update that makes the entire center of your Yoke into a horn button! Have you heard that? And I’m sorry, I didn’t look at your other comments. But I hope you didn’t receive 100 other comments exactly like mine. Best wishes.
Hi Flyshacker. I also heard that but it won't pertain to my Model X because the center of the Yoke doesn't have the components for the horn there. I think they're going to add the electric components in the Model X's that will commit out after mine. Thanks for the great question and comments. You're awesome!

Amazing video! Love it, I can't wait to try the Yoke, and it doesn't seem that that rain was hard enough, but the video was very educative, thank you.
I was hoping that it would rain a little harder that all I had to work with. I'll try again when it rains harder.
