This card is stunning! It is time consuming but there are times when you just want to go for it!!! Yes a little hinge attached to cardstock for back would be an option.
So lovely. Thank you for sharing! This technique is time-consuming however. Not sure I have the patience for anything with great detail. I haven't read all the comments but perhaps someone has already asked if using a brayer is another option rather than hand painting?
@@SusanRodesky thank you for watching! I’m not sure if anyone tried using a brayer and I’m not quite sure how that would work with acrylic paint on acetate but let me know if you try it!
Stunning! I think if you’re going to cover/sandwich the back acetate flap with cardstock you could probably just cut it down so that you can run it through with the embossing folder. I’m giving this a try this weekend!
Just came across your video 😊. These two cards are amazingly Beautiful 😍. Both cards are are equally Beautiful! But I love love the first card design and the multi-color backgrounds just fits right in with that Gold Acetate. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT TUTORIAL 👍 ❤❤
Great idea, it would hide the adhesive. ! I have also used sheets of acetate. I have scored and folded acetate to make cards and also just made a card front and attached it with Distress Collage Medium to a card.
I think it was Jennifer McGuire who showed a way to make a hinge so that you can run a single piece of acetate through with an embossing folders and still make a full acetate card.

@@Dotalina33 -I can't find the link but as I remember it, you measure 1/4" more of the acetate and then score along that line. Either top or side as you prefer. Press firmly with a bone folder and adhere to the other piece of acetate with double-sided tape. You can hide the overlap if you wish.
That's very clever, Susan. So easy and interesting.
Thank you! That’s so very nice of you to comment.

Thank you Sherri, I’m so glad!
I bought sheets of acetate so I think I would leave a tab at the top and bottom that would fold over the front of a card.

I’ll have to look for that, thanks for the info!
