Your embossed card panel is perfect! 1st the distressed panel was so right on! Then panel embossed in folder and with the roller to hit the raised flower…it is perfect! Love it! Thank you for demonstrating to enlighten me!
Really pretty card - can't wait to try your technique. Your brayer resembles mine and you should be able to take the roller out and thoroughly clean it and the handle. Distress Oxides are mostly pigment so they're probably binding the roller action. Loved your color combination too!
Love everything about your technique. I will definitely try it. Thank you for sharing such an awesome idea. I love the texture on your brayer,I wouldn’t wash it off either. I had no issues watching your video. Great job!
This turned out beautiful. I love this technique. I realized I am not lifting the brayer after rolling it. Same with loading the ink on the brayer. Thanks!
So glad I “found” your video. This is a simple and lovely way to create a background and/or use the embossing folder with it! Really beauty and super easy. Thanks for sharing. I subscribed and liked
Hello again Jo! I sent you a comment yesterday, and noted that it has disappeared today. My question was whether you could tell me the name of the pink item that you keep your distress ink pad is on, or whether you could even tell me where I can find one. I could really use it. I hope you can reply if possible Jo. I so loved the card that you made. It is so elegant and lovely. I will look forward to your response to my question. Thank you dearly. Sincerely, Patricia in New Zealand.😊
Yes Altenew do the most amazing folders. Gosh I thought they would be easy to find where you are. Being all over here in Australia sometimes we struggle to get craft supplies
Hi Jo. I stumbled onto your video, stayed, watched, learned and loved and have become your newest subscriber. Thanks so much. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊 ... BTW, your video was NOT unwatchable, loved every minute. ❤
thank you. Enjoy the process. The rubber mat is actually just an old mat that I used for hot pots in the kitchen or for helping get the lids off jars :)
Hi there the gun I use is an E-Z Runner Grand. If you are in Australia here is a link for you. www.craftedwithloveandroses.com.au/product/adhesive-e-z-runner-grand-permanent-strips-dispenser-45m/. Or alternatively you could try Scrapbook.Com :)
Embossing folders are so pretty. I use the "marquis" by diamond press, but unfortunately they won't take 3D embossing folders---they're too thick. But, otherwise the marquis is great.
How long does the tape stay stuck on the cards? I have read tapes just last a short-time and then everything comes loose and falls off. I always use a good glue. Nothings loosened in any of my books in three years. Just wanting to know before making a purchase of the tape.
Yes glue is much stronger than tape. Tho I havent found too much of my work coming apart. I make sure that I burnish or really press the tape down so that it has a good hold. It really is a personal preference. I don't like how my papers slightly buckle with glue and it gets a bit to messy for me. Having said that lots of people like to use glue :)
I love that you said, “let’s not over think things,” which is something I do way too much!
Oh my goodness, me too! I have to keep telling myself that it is just paper and I am just having a little bit of fun.

Very nice

Thank you! If our brayer is clean, how can we get the distressed look? So pretty!!
You will find that the brayer won't completely cover it with ink and will still leave some texture. It will build up over time and use x
@@josimons9765 Thank you!
Amazing
thank you x
I could tell that was an Altenew embossing folder from the thumbnail - they have the most gorgeous florals! I wish they were easier to find here...
Yes Altenew do the most amazing folders. Gosh I thought they would be easy to find where you are. Being all over here in Australia sometimes we struggle to get craft supplies

Beautiful card. I’ve not very good at this technique but I’ll try again. What’s the name of your rubber mat?
thank you. Enjoy the process. The rubber mat is actually just an old mat that I used for hot pots in the kitchen or for helping get the lids off jars :)
Do u think using @ soft brayer would be better? Lovely result though. 😍
A soft brayer like a sponge one? I think the soft one would be to soft then it doesnt kind of like glide over the top of the paper. Worth a shot tho!
Thanks for sharing! May I ask what make is your tape gun? I haven’t seen one like that before
Hi there the gun I use is an E-Z Runner Grand. If you are in Australia here is a link for you.

Where did you get the thanks sentiment?
it is a PinkFresh stamp from a set called Just a Hello
Embossing folders are so pretty. I use the "marquis" by diamond press, but unfortunately they won't take 3D embossing folders---they're too thick. But, otherwise the marquis is great.
that's a shame. I'm sure you would get a similar look using regular embossing folders too. Give it a shot. I haven't heard the marquis.
nice! didn’t notice anything wrong with video.
thankyou and thanks for your kind words x

Ya, distress oxides are SOOOO dry, as all mine are, even from day of purchase!
I know you can get a bottle or hydrator that might help a little bit. It is a Tim Holtz product too.
PS I didn’t notice an issue with the video .I enjoyed watching. Thank you
thank you for your kind words x
Audio is too low.
Please take your camera/tripod table off your work table. The camera is very sensitive to movement. It makes your video unwatchable.
Beautiful
Gorgeous!!
Beautiful card
thank you x
