    Seeing as how the Atom Pro has a a fixed range of one revolution, how hard do you find it is to dial in a shot of espresso? I am assuming there's enough range, it just seems like it'd be very easy to overshoot in either direction.

      Hi there! I've been happy with the range of the grinder, having the larger knob for adjustments is really helpful to give you more finite control.

    you can adjust the grind time by 5 hundreds but the lowest you can go is 2 tenths 🤔. Im confused

    why would the Atom Pro give you a "more refined flavours of espresso"? they both have the same motor and burrs....
    the Pro variant is also suitable for grinding coffee in bags, which I think wasn't mentioned in the video and is also the reason it has a fan

      They have different burrs. There is a picture of the Atom Pro burrs on the seattle coffee gear site. They look similar to unimodal burrs, which are highly recommended for filter coffee.

    I'd love to see a blind taste test between these two! The 75s burrset is renowned for espresso. I mean, they're mythos burrs. This comparison really seemed to downplay the quality of espresso coming from the standard 75. It would be great if the pro burrs excel over the standard, as they look interchangeable, with the added benefit of grind consistency across brew types.

      In anecdotal testing, I prefer the espresso off of the Atom Pro. Keep an eye on our channel for more info about Eureka's updated burr design!

    Is the Atom 65 okay for espresso or is the more expensive 75 necessary? I don't care so much about speed or if one is more noisy than the other.

    Hi John,
    I hope you are doing well.
    Currently I own Zenith 65 HS and I am thinking to upgrade so should I upgrade to Atom 75 or Helios 65?

    Why tamp on an angle like that? I'd think it would make it easier to mess up the angle ? :D
    That was about 30 seconds from when you started the full pressure to when you stopped the full pressure for the first shot.

    thank you for this video. For those who would like to use the official Eureka Blow Up system with the Atom 75, does it really work well? I mean, does it reduce retention to a very low level? The Atom is a great machine but it has a long chute on the outlet and its retention is originally quite high. thanks for your help.

    Re the 75 not really designed for single-dosing: As on my 60, could the impeller on the 75 be removed, thus making for almost zero 'pop-corning' when single-dosing? Secondly, I would far rather keep my beans stored (in an Airscape container for example) than fill & unload the hopper daily. This strikes me as unnecessarily cumbersome for home use when, as is recommended, a scale can be used to accurately weigh the quantity of beans for a single or a double shot.

    • @DamianSheesh
      @DamianSheesh 3 роки тому +5

      I have the 75 and the hopper only holds about 12oz of beans at the very most. I simply load the hopper with 6oz or so every couple of days. I'm using beans within a couple of weeks of roast date. A day or two in a closed hopper isn't doing much to their quality.

    This grinder is not suitable for espresso at all. I bought it a month ago, on the '0' settings I can't get normal shot, it grinds too coarse for espresso. I tried different beans, light and medium roast - nothing works. I got delicious shots with my Comandante C40 and with Compak E8, but nothing that looks like espresso with Atom Pro. I claimed this issue to Eureka and received the answer - it's a filter grinder!!! They suggested to install burrs from Atom Specialty 75. That's the real story about Eureka advertising and customer support. PS: I bought it not from SCG, but after watching few reviews like this one.
