I loved that Jem did that. It was like finally. The cat finally got to meet the person that saved him/her (I don’t actually remember the gender of the cat). It was a bitter sweet moment for me and one that makes me want to reread TID AND TMI a million times.
My favorite scene was when Alec got drunk and yelled "I'm not your bitch" at Jace. :D

I started crying, and i did not stop until simon started to regain his memories:))))
It's even worse when you remember that a few chapters before that Magnus was talking about shadowhunters being so righteous and whatever and he says something along the lines of "sometimes it comes to a choice between one person and the whole world and I'm selfish enough to want them to chose me" and then Alec says he doesn't want the world he wants Magnus and OH MY HEART😭

I was also really sad when Jordan died because I was really starting to like his character. There was the attack on the werewolves and I thought for a minute that everyone was okay, then Cassandra Clare just hits us all with, oh by the way Jordan is dead. I think that was the first and definitely not the last time I cried in this book!

When Izzy almost died I completely lost it!Sebastian becoming Jonathan and apologising also really got me and I started crying. but Simon losing his memories broke me beyond any hope of redemption - I've never sobbed so hard over a book. 😭😭😭
I started to cry when Simon lost his memories but it really hit me hard when Tessa and Jem were there and that made me sob until the end of the book

My favorite parts were probably Jem stealing Church and ‘Hail Master’ (it was badass). The part that broke me was actually when Sebastian became Jonathan ‘his eyes where green’. I loved pretty much every scene with Jem in it.

I noticed a trend in the Mortal Instruments books - everyone's dad is either dead or not a good dad. Example: Simon's dad is dead. Clary's dad was a shitty father. Jace's dads were either dead (Stephen Herondale) or a terrible father (and also dead) (Valentine Morgenstern). Alec and Isabelle's father is a bad dad who doesn't accept Alec being gay and also cheated on their mother. Magnus's father is evil. The only good father figure we have is Luke XD

Ella Lightwøød-Høwlter I know that, but my point is that Robert is as much of a dick about that as the other shadowhunters are. I mean he gets to express those views more in the series because he's Alec's father, but most of the older shadowhunters have a mutual following of the old ways and therefore don't accept it.
All I'm saying is that yeah, homophobes are dicks, but Robert's opinion on that was no different to most other older shadowhunters.

The scene that broke me was the whole scene with Asmodeous. Magnus is a character for me that seems to lure me in and capture my attention. He's always so strong. So to see Asmodeous mock him about his mother, his past, the fact that he has friends, that just killed me, okay? 😭😭

When that thing that happened to Simon happened I was sitting and reading in my family room with my brother and mum watching TV. Slowly dying and trying to hide my other brother walks into the room drinking from my drink bottle. No I have this pet hate of people drinking from my drink bottle. No idea why just do. And so I start having a go at him for drinking from my bottle and tears just start rolling from my eyes. The worse moment of my reading history. :(
My favourite moments in this book was whenever characters from TID were mentioned 😊
I loved the World Inverted chapter 😊
I listened to the the audiobook so I personally found it enjoyable and didn't really notice the slowness of the book (hence why I decided to use the audiobook) but I expected more epic fight scenes and actions :/
When you binge read the mortal instruments in one month so you read City of Heavenly Fires without reading the infernal devices :/

I read those books about ten years ago, but it was surprisingly easy to find this scene - it was one of my favorite of this book.
Well I guess, I love every scene like this one, where Alec shows how annoyed he is. He being annoyed makes him extremely sarcastic. And this side of Alec is one of the funniest;)

I finished this series in 3 months ,I'm not joking. Whenever I broke down I just kept reminding myself that 'Will would want me to keep reading'. It was absolutely amazing and I'm so glad you finished it.When the sex scene happened I was like 'wtf would you bring condoms?!?!?' ,Then again , there were a lot of ' WTF' moments throughout the book.

My favorite moment was the Jace meditation scene, specifically when Jace broke Alec's phone.
I read the whole series without any major spoilers and I am so lucky I was able to get through all the twists and turns in the amazing books.
I finished this book a week ago and i know the feeling! It was so sad to let go of these characters cause they all grew on me very easily, such a bittersweet book. Over all it was a fantastic wrap up to this series and i can't wait to get my hands on Lady Midnight! Have a great day, love your videos Jesse! :D
I love his book sooo much!!!My favorite moments were when Clary walked through the fire to get to Jace and the cave scene.Most hear breaking would be Simon losing his memories and Luke seeing his sister as a member of the Dark army and Julian having to kill his Dad.

Throwing shade at the Shadowhunters TV show
I finished this book the day it came out in less than 11 hours. It's on my list of proud accomplishments. But seriously, the Simon thing broke me. I remember bawling and just being like whyyyyyyyyyy
I finished CoHF the other day. I really enjoyed it and the best parts have to be when there is Jem(favorite character). The feels at the end for Simon's memory loss broke me (even though I know he will regain them again), I was crying sooo much!!! I just started Lady midnight, so far soo good :)
WHEN CLARY AND JACE FINALLY GOT SOME SEXY TIME I WAS SCREAMING CAUSE THEY WERE GETTING SO EMOTIONAL RIGHT BEFORE AND POURING THEIR HEARTS AND JUST UGH MY CLACE HEART. THAT SCENE WAS SO WELL WRITTEN.
"DTR" Was used all the time when I was in University. There was a DTR bench outside the boys freshmen/sophomore dorm that if you were on that side of the building you could ether watch people break up or get engaged.

Actually my favorite scene (basicly the one that broke me) is one that a lot of people just read and played no attention. It was when one battle was ending and they were burning all the shadowhunters who didn‘t deserved to be in the City of Bones and Brother Zackariah asked where was the body of the man who killed his parabatai and then he said “It is the worst thing I can imagine ever having to do. I would not have been brave enough. Since there is someone who was, I wish to pay my respects to him”... Like I CAN’T imagine how that would be like, knowing that your parabatai became a dark shadowhunter and kill him/her... I wish to pay my respect to him as well.

Favorites! The scene when Simon loses his memories and also the scene when Jem and Tessa show up at the wedding brought on the most emotions. I love all the Brother Zachariah scenes basically. But, now about you sir! I enjoy your reviews so much! You are so much fun to watch and you always make me smile!
