- This restaurant in KLCC was recommended by one of the subscribers. Besides Nasi Goreng Sea Food, it seems like there are various dishes to enjoy.
The bustling lunchtime atmosphere at Wisma Central was quite amazing...

» SELF-INTRODUCTION
We were just an ordinary Japanese married couple, both working, until my wife suddenly chose to move overseas.
After thinking deeply, I reached a conclusion to leave the company I worked for 12 years, and started my new life as a stay-at-home dad in 2021.
At first, I had rough time with stress and felt conflicted, but now I enjoy my life in Malaysia, taking the household chores over from my wife.
As I changed my lifestyle I changed my hairstyle to Samurai(Man Bun).
I named this channel "Samurai -----" as some people call me "samurai!" since I came to Malaysia.
In this channel, I will be introducing:
1. My daily life and things I noticed as stay-home-dad
2. My Malaysian life
3. Changes we experience upon moving overseas
Hope you enjoy!

I noticed Mr. Samurai Dad was hesitant to answer when the cashier asked where he lived in Malaysia.
Jimmy from iChang channel also didn't understand why Malaysian like to ask where he and iChang live/stay.
It is not really that we want to know exactly where you stay, and show up at your front door. But it's usually the general area, so that we can maybe suggest another restaurant, or say that we know someone who lives in the area - to have some sort of similarity, to connect.
I assume it is a very personal question for the Japanese, but it is culturally normal for Malaysians to ask such question to create familiarity and bond with each other.
Of course we won't. So is it xmas at samurais place then?😅
Ha,,ha..a foreigner watching this at random... interesting take.... coming over to my place for a surprise date???lol....
Imagine answering your door and the stranger you met at the bus stop months ago standing there to drop off his elderly father because he and his wife are off to a holiday in North Korea. 😅😅
That kind of nasi goreng with crispy battered seafood with that price range at the center of Kuala Lumpur itself is pretty nice. Quite affordable
Thank you for your comment😊 Yes, there were many people gathered during lunchtime.
Samurai Dad! I was wondering where you've been. Hope you're doing well and thank you for another great video :D

Hii Samurai Dad,, how are you? waiting for your new video too
i see your face look like a actor at movie mortal kombat(scorpion)..
Ha ha ha.. no worry, Malaysians will ask " where do you stay ? live ?" Not because we wana come or invade, but rather curious if you travel far away to eat at the restaurant, they will appreciate your efforts time spend to have meal ? or you stay nearby so that you can frequent the resto often :)
🤣 Invade... Thank you so much for sharing. It really helps. You noticed that I was kind of unconsciously hesitant to react for a moment right...?! That means I still need more way to go to become a Malaysian👍
@SamuraiStayAtHomeDad imagine if you said I live at xxx road in xxx. The next morning you will wake up to alot of noise and outside all your malaysian fans lol
Its nice to see you try nasi goreng, we usually pair this dish with fried eggs if you wanted to have something extra
Yeah definitely. I actually realized later that I forgot to order the fried egg... I'll make sure not to forget next time😉 Thank you!!
Waiting for your new video
your malay is good...
みんな大丈夫ですか?地震で被害を受けた人や家族はいますか?
Your Bahasa Melayu getting much better. Congratulations
Wow! I never ventured into Wisma Central. I think mostly office workers go there for their meal. Should be cheaper than KLCC
Yeah right, it looked like it's loved by KLCC office workers especially during lunch time👍 I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
@@SamuraiStayAtHomeDad Food in Wisma Central is a lot cheaper than inside KLCC. That's why so many retail & office workers from KLCC go to Wisma Central for food. Walk a little further past Wisma Central to the Chinese Temple where you can eat affordable vegetarian food in the temple's compound. Very crowded during lunch hour on weekdays. This hidden gem serves breakfast & lunch only on weekdays. You get to the vegetarian food section at the side entrance of the temple.
oh man, daging salai. this might be Seremban aka Negeri Sembilan guys. another dangerous malay food, i like the daging salai a a lot... the yellowy sauce and the beef is just.... damn i can't take it. they're too tasty i can't get enough of it

Hi, you can also try restoran ummi at pertama complex next to sogo. They have a variety of nasi goreng and reasonably priced, usually less than RM10
Beautiful restaurant... Nice video bro.. 😁👍👍
In that building you should try the western pick and choose kedai.. Kinda buffet style but you pay what you take only. They selling affordable working class meals, like all sorts of pasta and western fusion food like meatballs, chicken chop, lamb chops, mashed potatoes, coleslaw together with tbeir gravies and etc..
You should ask for chili sauce for the fried squid and shrimp.
How common is English spoken at that area?
Thanks for the great upload. I like how you actually finish the food! No waste 👍

今回は卵(テェロー?)のトッピングは諦めたのですか?
