seriously Auntie Liz and you make a better couple than with Mr Peanut Allergy Guy... so sorry for him. She even FXXKG wore an orange shirt to be with you!!
Peanut Allergy guy is a great side character in the friendship of Uncle Roger and Auntie Liz, I still remember when they first met and Uncle Roger tried to make him eat a peanut dish.
I didn't watch it, but peanuts can be deadly for those folks. I had a peanut allergy guy as a class mate. He always carried a spray on him for the worst case. (I don't remember the active ingredient.) It's strange, I never had any problem with peanuts, but I used to be allergic to hazelnuts and almonds. I think this was a cross allergy to my primary birch pollen allergy.
I just saw Uncle Roger's video reacting to Anthony Bourdain and he goes on a rant about allergies and Asia, and I knew he was thinking about Peanut Allergy Guy 😂😂😂😂
You two have the best chemistry together, just constantly playing off each other so well. Always a great time when you two are in a video. Also Auntie Liz's wheezing at 9:47 had me cackling.
I know this may sound strange & odd but I actually love eating curry instant noodles with tempoyak (fermented durian) it enhances the flavor & it makes the gravy creamier 😊
Auntie Liz is so incredible... that smile and laugh are amazing and her culinary talent is is the envy of many. Peanut allergy guy is an extremely lucky man. 😅😂❤😍
Chef Auntie Liz... whatever you do, keep doing it, whether cooking, travelling, bringing uncle roger or wearing an awesome orange top that beats uncle´s orange polo, keep on!!! love your channel´s content, varied and interesting.
Classic Auntie Liz and Uncle Roger banter. They really representing Malaysia and Singapore when in terms of roasting each other. But in terms of food, it unites us two nation.
It was clearly one way attacking, from chef to food to a whole nation of people. He does not represent any nation so please don't give the misconception.
I never leave comments but had to on this one, yall are too cute together Not in like a relationship way, but just as a dou feeding off each other. That said i also love your passion and expertise so please keep up the vids of whatever you want cause im a foodie and chef and love your energy towards great food

Uncle Rogers, the Cantonese restaurants in the London Chinatown district are some of the best Chinese restaurants in the area, including L.A. I've yet to try Mei Mei, but from the videos, it looks good.
Idk how much people are getting paid in Malaysia per hour on average, but thats still less than $10 USD. That's not bad for ramen. Especially one that big or original. It could easily cost more in the US. And if it was in Cali...an arm and leg. Theyre being generous.
Never try the ramen durian..but I think the only food that works with durian (fully fresh meat not fermented like tempoyak) is Cendol Durian.. *Chef Kiss
Oh wow that looks great! I would eat that i love durian reminds me of food wars how they did the pineapple egg fried rice how he cooked the ramen inside of the shell of the durain beautiful presentation
Wow you hit all three of my favourites foods: Durian , Ramen, and spiciness a match made in heaven.Too bad I can’t get such a dish here in Montreal,Canada perhaps you can make a cooking show on this recipe?
40rm are actually average price for premium ramen here, the average ramen street and mall here are around 50k idr or 15rm (beef and chicken, pork are usually more expensive).
Oh! mei mei restaurant in LA !!?? When can I book reservations? Would love to see your special preparations in LA. Yes, lots of Asian food in LA - but, no mei mei - so sad.
Tried freeze dried durian for the first time a few days ago. Pleasantly sweet but with an undercurrent of asafoetida. Was eating goat curry while watching this so tried tasting a piece of durian. I could really see it working with say, a Singaporean style pork curry.
In kelantan, (east coast of West Malaysia) we eat durian with white rice, fried kembong fish (Indian mackerel ) and Budu (fish source)... and of course with hands...
Durian is also not allowed in rented cars, hotel rooms, taxis, public transport in Thailand as far as I remember...probably some more that I don't remember right now.
I would try this though I haven't liked any durian I've tried. To me it tastes like onion melon b.o. However, I have not tried it fresh from the country where it grows.
Durian ramen growing on uncle Roger fuiyoh! Thank you auntie Liz

Ah yes Singapore and Malaysia rivalry. I guess we can't run away from that, but in the end we're still brothers.
本是同根生
I am from Singapore and our common enemy is Jamie Oliver's attacks on Asian food 🤣
Who your brother?
No need rivalry… singapore is born from malaysia

When Auntie Liz together with Uncle Roger it always good weejio!
Liz is so kind and gracious despite Roger's madness 🤣🤣

These two are so good together. I love it so much!
To be fair, MYR40 is not expensive at all for ramen. Because normal restaurant standard Japanese Ramen already around MYR28-35
Exactly!
I would say it's even cheap comparing to some countries. In Poland normal ramen is >50 MYR.
So funny when you two get together. I think the two of you should make a tv show of you traveling around trying different foods.
