1. Kill Shadowheart from afar and don't go near her corpse. 2. Trigger the Goblin Camp cutscene without Long Resting (easier being a Drow). Interacting with her corpse or Long Resting after killing her both trigger a cutscene where the artefact flies to you. If you manage to avoid both, the Goblin Camp scene will also be slightly different, but your character passes out because of the Voice and *then* wakes up at camp, forcing you to Long Rest and receive the artefact.
Interesting! I know that if you refuse to add Shadowheart to your party after the Goblin Camp intervention, she eventually disappears from the bridge and you get the artifact appearing in your inventory at camp scene you showed at 0:31 when you go through the Mountain Pass or into the Shadow-Cursed Lands. I wonder if this is what her fate ultimately is and this is the interaction that WOULD happen if you somehow found her corpse after that artifact transition cutscene (which I never did, I looked)-- explaining why you suddenly get the artifact and why she's not around anymore, the artifact burned her to death to escape from her and go to you. I shouldn't be surprised that the developers had yet another interaction programmed for those who somehow get to this point and find her corpse lol. This game never ceases to amaze me!
The fact that the developers would add a scene such as this particular question shows their dedication in creating a great game. Shadowheart never dies if Tav/Durge/Origin playable character changes a location without Shadowheart in the party. I've tried doing it many times and also she can be recruited at a later stage of Act 2.
If the player kills Shadowheart then it is transferred automatically but if she dies while she's shielding you from the voice of the Absolute then the player is transported to the camp along with the artefact. The artefact usually goes to Tav if Shadowheart remains at the camp.
@@kapitainein strange.... I always played with Party Limit Begone before patch 6 and the artifact still came to me. I just thought it always does that eventually.
@@PanEtRosa I thought the artifact only got transferred if you dismiss shadowheart. I have completed act 1 in my new playthrough and the artifact never came to me since I haven't dismiss shadowheart. I remember going to my tav in my last playthrough when I dismiss her
@@walabixha1746 I have no idea what the "rules" for the artifact's transference are anymore. X.x I *did* dismiss SH during Act 1 in my current playthrough (Gale Origin), and it stayed with her. nearly to Act 3 now and it still hasn't come to Gale so.... who the hell knows.

This game has so much possible outcomes for this scene. Boggles the mind 😃.
For the legendary interaction - 1:33

Noo not the bbygirl...
@@ladyselin35 I know right. Shadowheart lived on right after I'd reloaded the save file.
does the artifact no longer transfer automatically to Tav after the vision on the bridge? noticed after patch 6 that it wasn't happening anymore.

1:44 hang on, but can she be recruited or go back to your party if you resurrect her there?
I'm afraid this option ends with the fact the artefact burned her up. Shadowheart cannot be revived at this point 🥲.
@@kapitainein your sacrifice so we don't have to will be remembered.
