AFAIK, PowerDolls plays like XCOM. My guess is that the multi-sensors make this a recon unit for detecting enemies or for finding and disabling traps like, say, land mines.
That is correct, it plays quite similar to the original 1994 X-Com in that you needed to detect enemies before you could start spending action points on shooting at them. Multi-sensors, be it a hand carried one or the shoulder mounted versions, extend the range of the unit's Recon action, thus exposing larger chunks of the surrounding map to ideally catch enemy positions before you have to stumble into them in your default, much shorter visual range (and thus likely not have much AP left to utilize against them).
Nice review, however, It would have been nice to see an actual side by side review of the new 5 inch Power Dolls mecha model and the original/reissue Power Dolls 2 (7.08 inch - 1/35 scale) mecha model for a size and features comparison.
I believe I did that in the previous 5inM review but just in case I can do it again in the next review cause there’s another new 5inM recently released that I’ll be getting soon, along with the weapons and flight pack option sets
@@ZakuAurelius Awesome, I look forward to the upcoming 5inM review, and I will also check for the previous 5inM Power Loader review that I may have missed. 😎👍
Something about the body proportions seems off, and the way the mech holds onto his weapon too seems off. I do like the shoulder pads and how. Round the mecha is though, it’s quite rare to see a clean back.
The 5 inch mechanism angel wings are already available
This has... a lot of potential.
Plus I'm in love with this mecha design.

It is from a PC-98 game. It is also based on more feminine proportions than masculine like a lot of other mecha tend to be.
Thicc
What scale do you think this would be compatible with? 1/12 mecha musume? 1/144 hg?
