  • I noticed that all of the outtake rips on UA-cam showed the reel with the credits scroll. So I thought it would be better to crop the video out and lose the unneeded credits. Sure wish I could monetize it though. Oh well. Enjoy.

    It's nice to think they are ALL laughing together again💗 Burt, Dom, Farrah, Sammy, Dean, Roger ...they made the 80's golden

    How i WISH i could go back and relive my decade the 1980's. 1981 i was a sophomore in high school. Went to go see this movie on a Saturday afternoon. The outtakes are the funniest part of the movie, may the one's that are no longer with us Rest Easy you'll forever stay young in the films you left us with to enjoy.

    Mel Brooks said of DeLuise, "It's hard to think of this world without him... he created so much joy and laughter on the set that you couldn't get your work done. So every time I made a movie with Dom, I would plan another two days on the schedule just for laughter."
    R.I.P Dom.. you are surely missed

    • @TrexsterInNC
      @TrexsterInNC 6 років тому +26

      Agree. It was different because we had real stars, that worked their way to the top instead of being hand picked because of an agenda. On top of that there were script writers that knew how to write amazing scripts and how to put the best cast together. People just don't have that talent today because of who runs Hollywood.

      @Tom Caine: BS. You are either young and ignorant and can't recognize originality or old and in denial pretending to stay hip with the ADHD Millennials with their faces stuck in smart phones on Facebook and Twitter. Which is it? There is NO comparison to today's fake talent in Hollywood compared to years past in original thought and writing. So-called "reality" shows are the popular wave now vs. Sit-Coms like Three's Company or Seinfeld. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???!!! THAT IS TALENT????? A CHEAPASS STAGED DRAMA QUEEN SHOW IS GETTING RATINGS???? Yeah, that's a sore spot with me.
      Anyone can act. That's not the point. There's a reason Hollywood is on the decline at the Box Office as well as why they've run out of talent on new ideas and have depended a lot on remakes and franchises (uhm, Star Wars, Marvel Comics, and so-on). You can say the same about the music industry these days as well for that matter. If you deny this, then keep drinking that Kool-Aid buddy. And I speak as one whose father ran Bob Hope celebrity charity events back in the 1980s and got to meet REAL actors, singers, and directors from Hollywood to Broadway. Oh by the way: trash talking Trump is not helping matters either when it comes to main stream America outside of the faux entertainment Hollywood industry. It's a big fucking nation out there.

      LOL! Poor Dom...... But he didn't seem to mind! Man, usually the end bloopers credits to these films were better than the movies themselves, but I think they're just as good. They did these for Smokey II, Stroker Ace, and the Cannonball films..... as the end of Smokey 3 and Hooper had those same mini-screens, but they just showed pictures, and scenes from the movies. The original Smokey/Bandit was the only one of the 7 car pictures to not do this. Is Hal Needham still alive? I'm still thanking him and all the production crew for these films!

    This was the movie that inspired Jackie Chan to put outtakes on all his later movies during the end credits! Remember seeing this movie back in 1981 with my family, and several my cousins and their parents. Then watching the credits for these outtakes in the cinema. I remember coming home one day from school and my Mother had just seen an ad for the movie and she told me that Dean Martin was going to be in a racing movie. I'm surprised this isn't longer. You get practically every comedic legend of the 60's and 70's,put them all together in one movie, man that's legendary right there.

    I love the movie, and love especially the bloopers of this movie :D i'm laughing so hard when renolds says wrong of "the rosary bleeds" , and look at how serious they are when they know they said the wrong word, and the rest just falls apart in laughing hysteria :D The cannonball run and smokey and the bandit are all favourites of my movie fun collection! Thumbs up!

    These guys were the originals that showed bloopers at the end of films. I remember watching this when I was a kid and it was just so hilarious, especially since it hadn't been done. Still to this day a lot of people have copied this at the end of their movies. RIP to these all time great legends.

    Amazing movie. They can do a remake of it today with the biggest stars like Vin Diesel, Jack Black, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pine, Ben Affleck, Chris Tucker.... oh who am I kidding, if they made this today it would suck.

    • @adamn7516
      @adamn7516 9 років тому +4

      beeroosterm The film wasn't a quality films but it was still a funny ass film with a cast of great stars that had the chemistry to make it work. In the early 90's they did a semi reboot called Speed Zone with John Candy among others and it just didn't work. Todays stars could never pull it off either. The cast of CB and CB2 were legendary close nit actors. Modern Hollywood actors don't have that chemistry and close nit connection. However if someone where to reboot it guys like Jack Black, Chris Tucker, Seth Rogan and even The Rock would be great casting choices. Not sure in what sort of roles they fit though I guess The Rock would be the JJ McClure type and Jack Black the Victor type.
      "Oh who am I kidding" :-D

      Cannonball Run didn't suck. It didn't do well at the box office because of Raiders Of The Lost Ark. I don't know how old you are but it was so much hype to "Indiana Jones" that it was all people could talk about. I know because I went to the movies to see both films in 1981 :-)

    I'm so fortunate to have grown up during such a time of vast comedic talent.
    Where a young kid from the projects could grow up experiencing the likes of Red Skelton, Jackie Gleason, Dom DeLuise, Jonathan Winters, Charlie Callas, Lucille Ball, Redd Foxx, Moms Mabley, Pigmeat Markham, Flip Wilson, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Freddie Prinze, Joan Rivers, Don Rickles, Phyliss Diller, Robert Klein, Groucho Marx, Lenny Bruce, Mel Brooks, Carole Burnett...all in the formative years of age 5 until the end of my teens....Did I miss anyone?
    Oops...forgot Rodney Dangerfield, because he gets no respect, I tell ya...
