When I have to head out and hit the road, this song always come to remembrance.
I met someone and we hit every note perfectly life was grate, risky, challenging, relaxing, fun with you. But battled it out & on eachother and it was us two against the world, We both walked different paths in life but i didn't care who seen us together, who said what because i liked the look on everyones face when they seen us together, i knew you had me and i had you, that feeling was the best, that night we sat in the middle of nowhere talking about our futures and it got quite, then when you looked, cooked at me and said "if you aint eating, im not eating, your cold, if i cant warm you up , ill be cold with you, if i got cigs im giving you half because i trust you and this loyalty feeling is strong for you " We knew it would come to an end our age difference him 23 and me 29, but fuk the loyalty and trust hit that we strum that strum smooth. We wrote the best tune and rode that high note loud and like we knew what we was doing!! 😅 But you made me feel safe and protected, if anything we made history together and it ended up just how we knew it would, im glad you are in jail and not dead my boy, imma always have your back good or bad, and ill always be there for you rain or shine!
