Thanks, Bob. Can't get enough Dillards.
Me too
Nope🎵🎶🎇🇺🇲🎆. 🤓😎✌🏼🇺🇲
Currently reading a book by Mitch Jayne of The Dillards entitled, "Home Grown Stories & Home Spun Lies". The stories are hilarious. Like you Bob, I can listen to a bit of bluegrass. But i can listen to The Dillards all day. Their song lyrics tend to tell great stories and are backed up by tremendously talented instrumentalists.
Always a fun time when The Darlings came to town. 😁
Some of my favorite episodes
Always fun seeing The Dillards(the Darlings). 🙋♂️🙏
Some of my favorite episodes
Loveeeee the Dillards, more of these on the Dillards/The Darlings.
Will do my best...could you share this out on your social media? (Please)
@@theandygriffithshowfactsan3585 Absolutely my friend.
@@FrankensteinLover thanks so much
GOLDEN...as usual. I find the c.d. from Brother Where Art Thou very good. Hot Dang!!! It's the Soggy Bottom Boys.
I actually went to school with George Clooney who lip synced their music very well lol
Love them
The Dillards nothing but great music 🎼🎶 thanks so much for this video 📸😊❤
I'll always have a crush on Maggie Peterson ❤️
❤️❤️
Loved the Dillard's. I press the like button right at first because I know it will be good
Great Info! Tks.
Thnx
I've always loved the Dillards/Darlings! Kind of a precursor to the characters on the Bob Newhart's second series with Larry, his brother Darryl and his other brother Darryl! I always thought of the Darling brothers when I saw that.
You almost SNAPPED off
Ha ha he he 😂
God bless you and your family Brother 😊
Keep it up....!!
The episodes I enjoy most are those that feature performances by the Dillards.
Some AWESOME episodes for sure!
Thanks Bob for this F & T !
I love the Darling's / Dillard's. Just the best music 💜
I saw the Dillard's w/ Dan Hicks and his Hot licks in Los Gatos Old Town Theater in 1971 they did an encore with the licks.
The dillards.played good music on the Andy Griffith show as the darlings vickie napa california
Rodney was a really nice down to earth guy
They were perfect for the part of the Darlings😂
I agree Pamela
I have a CD of their best hits. They sing good bluegrass.
They do
This is perfect presentation and example of how to get right into the title of the video and not tell us when the andy show started and ended and all the such youve done in other videos.
I wish The Dillards and Maggie Peterson had recorded "There is a Time". Great harmonizing.
The Dillard's were such a musical group, there talent was unbelievable. One of the songs we square dance to is Dooly.
The last band that i was in put dooley in a medley..was foggy mountain breakdown, rocky top, dooley and fox on the run
I love the Darling Dillards. Their music, and on shows where they speak...hilarious!
Doug wrote “There is a time” which was performed on the show.

The book Mayberry 101 covers some of the Darling episodes. It mentioned their comments about the jug playing. Barney and the Choir was in Season Two. The Darlings made their debut in Season Three. Ironically, Don Knotts wasn't in that first episode. Too bad the Darlings didn't appear in any of the choir episodes. Besides being good singers, their music could have drowned out Barney.
In his hotel job, John Masters couldn't allow the music to go on. Briscoe only paid for a room with single occupancy. The other guests might have complained about the noise. Some other time John might have recruited them for the choir. We still don't know if it was just a coincidence that every Darling episode focused on marriage.
