I love terracotta pots but recently I moved a peace lily into one and now I can’t keep up with the watering! Maybe I’ll try one of those terracotta water bulbs to help. Never seen them before. Very cool!
Yes ! That’s always something to consider with terracotta, we will have to water more often for sure! And yes, the watering globes have been super helpful with that :-) let me know how it goes 🤗
Terracotta might seam to be more sustainable on the surface, but because of the heaviness of the material it uses a lot more energy then plastic to move long distances. Great vid
Hi! It all depends on you. Terracotta is my favourite :-) and snake plants like the soil to go dry before watering, so it may be a good option for it. Just make sure to check the soil and your plant of course
I like Terra cotta because I’m an over waterer. The problem is I can’t find Terra cotta in in between sizes. But I CAN find clay pots in sizes I need. Would a clay pot work as well as terra cotta? And if yes, would it still absorb water if it is glazed on the outside? I’m assuming pots glazed on inside won’t absorb water
