    Coloured staples?....I didn’t know there was such a thing. What fun they would be, I wouldn’t always have to hide them when they don’t match. Another crafty supply I’ll have to look out for. I’ll never reach the end of my list. Thank you for the great ideas. 👏

    This is a really nice idea that I haven’t seen before. After my Mom died & I was going through her things, I found lots of stationery & envelopes. I don’t think she ever through a lone envelope out. There were lots of them in all different styles, sizes & colors & I wasn’t sure what to do with them! There were also lots of random amounts of leftover stationery & wow, Tina, this is the perfect way to use up these things that I didn’t want to throw away, but also couldn’t think of any way of using them. Now every time I make one of these I will be remembering my Mom & passing a little bit of her on to other people!! Thank you sooooo much, what a wonderful but simple way of using up bits of pieces of old stationery!

    You know what's funny? Just a day or two I found a small stack of envelops and I thought, "I need to go back and watch Tina's video on how to make the booklets." but I couldn't remember the exact name of the video. This this morning when I checked into UA-cam there was this video on the suggestion page. Brilliant timing :).

    The movie Downton Abbey hit the theatres two weeks ago and I haven't been able to see it yet. This is one of my favorite shows so I am looking forward to seeing it. My whole family is horror film crazy but they are lost on me. A good thriller or mystery is my thing. A good movie never looses its magic. You name some good ones. My sister is a horror writer and it drives her nuts that I don't like horrors.

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  5 років тому

      Downton Abbey is still showing here, but I still haven’t seen it. I do enjoy horrors, but they do very often end up ridiculous, whereas thrillers are really scary aren’t they? Yes, love a good mystery too. How exciting that your sister is a horror writer, what a shame it’s not a genre that you enjoy as that would be really cool for you both x

    Hi Tina, I love these! I managed to get 12 made, but I struggled. I am still recovering from my near death illness so I am a week behind and I am struggling to focus and my coordination is off. Glad to be crafting again and I look forward to a speedy recovery. Btw, just before I got sick I did purchase a $20 paper pad, used a 40% off coupon on one item, them also a 20% coupon off the entire purchase. The exclusions on using the extra coupon were for clearance items and door buster items. So I ended up with 60% off the papers pad. (Spent $8). The stores accept competitors coupons, so even if they don’t accept 2 of their own, they will accept the competitors coupon with one of therir’s but I have not had any trouble with them accepting 2 of their own.

      @@shabbydabbydoodah I went looking the other day - couldn't find any in that style at all. I will continue to keep my eyes open. I figure the best two times a year to search is now, when new calendars are coming out, and like you said, in Feb when they go on sale! I'm learning to look for things like this that I would never think of using in journaling, but when I see others use them, I think - WHY didn't I think of that!!! LOL Thanks so much for sharing!

    I'm newer to your channel so between everyone's "new offerings" I have a look about in your older videos. I'm a HUGE fan of Horror and Thrillers. My kids grew up watching with me too! he-he But agree with you 100% Horror has taken on an unbelievable something about them. Rob zombies movies are very violent but remind me of the original Texas chainsaw and the hills have eyes And I quite enjoyed his stuff but now I've been seeking out thrillers for more believable scares.
    ANYWAYS... Thank you for your videos I'm really enjoying

    I love the idea of having a variety of things ready when I need them. I would like to see more decorating ideas. I don’t think that it is usually necessary to show assembling all 10 or however many you are making if the only difference is the size. Perhaps once you have demonstrated making 3 or 4 you could spend the rest of the time embellishing. I realize you want to be sure everyone is comfortable with the process, but it is just a thought.

I live in the US and they are cheap; costs around $13 on Amazon -- but the danger is and it should come with a warning: they are so "bloody" much fun -- I got mine on Amazon and we have prime so free 2-day shipping, and when it arrived our house turned into scrap paper mountain -- plus we r memory keepers has the new everything tool, which is kind of expensive -- 50 American dollars, but if you go to Michaels and use their 50 % coupon, it's reasonable and it has the envelope punch -- that tool is at the top of my what I want for Christmas list -- assuming I can hold out that long -- lastly, my large score board has instructions on the back of how to use it to make envelopes -- oops -- lastly No. 2 -- showing how you made the template and also using regular envelopes from stores is great !! Love your channel -- and still am loving the tick tock digi kit -- that was the very first digi kit I ever purchased -- best purchase ever !! Be well, Patricia

      Oh thank you so much Patricia. Yes I saw a video recently on the punch everything board, I am not sure if it’s a bit complicated for me? Lol . Loved your lastly no. 2, that is so like me, I just think of something else at the last minute! Hope you get your Christmas wish of the everything punch board......or maybe before then x

    Love those! Another great project! I doubt you’ve offended anyone talking about the prices you found on paper pads when you were Florida. I live in Florida and we do still have great coupons for the larger craft stores. Also, Micheals often has “Hot Buy Paper Pads” for $5.-$7. Of course the bigger brands do get expensive. Love my coupons, lol! Jo Ann xx

      Oh thank you Jo Ann, you say these things and then you get a comment or two and it just makes you worry that you have offended lots of people. Wow, that’s great that you can still get such amazing bargains on your paper pads........I am soooooooo envious! Lol . Mind you, I can’t imagine how much paper I would have if I was getting the pads at such low prices, so maybe it’s lucky that I don’t!! Just LOVE pretty paper x

    Ooh Tina I really love this idea, I’m thinking book page envelopes on the punch board as a base (so many book pages, so little time to use them all🤦🏼‍♀️) I LOVED Stephen King’s book “IT” and really wasn’t enamoured with either film🤨 Loved what you made today, just beautiful but let’s have no more of that Christmas talk🤫😂 X

      Yes, great idea with the book pages. I haven’t read the book, but I loved the original film. Lol, I have just filmed a couple of Christmas projects (gifts for teachers type ideas), scary how fast it’s looming x

    I don’t have a punch board but I think you should do one for those people who do. I will watch even tho I don’t have one. I will just use a template. Some people have a hard time using them. They look confusing. So go for it.

    I am in Florida! It depends on if they are on sale and what brand they are. On sale they may be 50%off or with the coupon not on sale 40% off. Makes a difference. I like the graphic 45 papers snd they are expensive 🙄but I love them.

    Too bad we can't talk in real time to your videos. I think that would be loads of fun. I could do a live stream because i am always talking to myself. I just love your different topics you talk about during your videos!

      Oh thank you Susan. I have never done a live stream, I’m not sure if I ever will........I think I would struggle with trying to please everyone, if there were two people suggesting things, I would find it hard to just go with one! Lol . I do sometimes think it would be helpful though when I’m struggling to make a decision, also it would be fun to chat to you all, not sure I would get much crafting done though, too much chat! X

    I agree with you, thrillers and far more scary than horror movies. Horror movies with monsters and things like that aren’t realistic so they’re not as scary as those scary things that real people do it’s much more frightening, like stalkers and crazy people. Have you seen I think it’s called Phone Booth and also Pacific Heights.

    • @shabbydabbydoodah

    • @quirkycat2489
      @quirkycat2489 5 років тому +1

      Pam Rugman I am going to look for a doily die. The doilies I have found are more large plate size, going to look on eBay if no luck going to choose a die. Good luck in your search, maybe they will come back into the shops as it nears Christmas party time.

    • @pamrugman8061
      @pamrugman8061 5 років тому +1

      Jacqueline Farrar I have tried dies, ok on thicker paper but don’t really work on the thin, tend to tear and are a really pain to get out of die. Will keep looking, a friend has just sent me some 3-4” ones I will ask where she got them and see if they do a bigger size. Will let you know

    • @quirkycat2489
      @quirkycat2489 5 років тому +1

      Pam Rugman Thank you, that would be very much appreciated. I understand what you mean about the dies, hadn't thought about that, and I should as it happens with intricate dies. oh well, back to the drawing board. I will let you know if I track any down.

    I don’t think you need to apologize for quoting prices on scrapbook paper. One year later, I am paying approximately 10.00 - 21.00 for
    12 x 12 paper collection in the USA. Yes you can get them cheaper at times or more expensive depending on the quality. I definitely will try making these envelope books.
