    I enjoy your mass making projects. I find I am more productive this way versus making a random pocket or envelope with no instruction or real plan. Please continue with these MM projects. TFS 😊

    Cutting into the fold! That makes so much sense.... I've always struggled with my cutting. Game changer. You are full of wise nuggets! Thanks so much!

    I think your method of “measuring” makes perfect sense. It gives a visual of the actual size you want rather than looking at the numbers on a ruler. I am quite impressed with your cutting skills. Maybe it is the long blade on your scissors that helps, but whatever it is I envy it.

    I just love the Pocket Foldouts! I can't wait to make some. Here's a hint for the circle punch: turn it upside down when you make the thumb hole. You will be able to see where you are placing it!

    • @406annie
      @406annie 5 років тому

      Yes, Tina, if you turn the punch upside-down, you can see exactly where your punch circle is and how much paper you’ll be removing. Easy as pie. 😊

    I am for the first time crafting with you. I have decided to use my printer paper scraps and making a copy of what you are making. This way I don't just watch you I end up with a sample of what to do, and write down directions right on the sample. I love doing it this way because if I mess up, no problem. Again thanks for sharing.

    Thank you for these mass making video's. I was feeling overwhelmed with my papers and didn't know what to I wanted to do until I started watching your channel - now I'm making items and I'm feeling more creative.

    I can't remember 💩 so when I started learning how to make pockets and stuff, I made a little book just for all the things I've learned to make. Each pocket has a little tab with the name of the person I learned it from and any notes are written on the pocket, things like MY ideas or bits I had to guess at etc. If it's a easy item to figure out it gets glued in, but if it's more difficult I just paperclip it to a page in the book. I'm getting quite a collection of ideas from you now hahaha.

    Great timing to find these "Mass Making" videos as I am new to journaling. I can't say I have any scraps yet, but I do have some 12x12 papers that I just bought and can use some of them. I just labeled a clear box in my craft room as "Make Aheads" and will make some of these to put in there. Thank you for the wonderful videos and great ideas. I'm off to make a few of these now. ☺♥

    I certainly like all the tips you give us from your experience. My cutting is often disastrous and probably because of the way I cut! I know I’ve said this to you, but I’m actually getting more items done each time. It’s pretty amazing.

    I love these. I always love your methods because I am the same way. I measure and I goof up. I also agree on the ‘this is how “I” do it... I never mention how I do things in comments. If I was that good I would have my own channel. As always Thank You for sharing!!!!!!!

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  5 років тому

      Yay, a fellow non-measurer!!! Well I always like to point out that it's how "I" like to do because everyone has their own way don't they? Just because it suits me, it won't suit everyone...…...same with the measuring I guess. Lol x

    I really like making these, it's great fun! I like that I can use my scrapes and make them in all sizes. Thanks for the share on this. I too have a hard time with mass making, but since watching you and crafting with you, I find that I don't dislike mass making as much.🙂 So, yes please, keep going with these.

    Hi , Gail here I am new to junk journaling. Long time collecting supplies and watching videos but now finally in the making stage ! Lol Anyway I really enjoying your last few videos I watched were of yours and can’t wait to see more ! One tip I know for sure works for a thumb hole is to turn the punch upside down so you are viewing the blades . If your punch has a clear cover on bottom to collect scraps use it open or cover completely slide off . You can see exactly where you punching if you do it before you glue . Hope that helps

    Your video just popped up today on my UA-cam suggested videos page--so glad it did! I subscribed after you had made this video, so I had missed it before. This is such a great idea, so I made one along with you. Now I can make a bunch more for upcoming journals! Love the variations you showed. I have a rather healthy supply of offcuts and largish scraps so all I need now is some more tea dyed papers. That's next on my agenda for the day. TFS!

    Love these mass makes🥰 I’ve misplaced (almost certainly buried on my desk) my circle punch, so I’ve resorted to using a wee scalloped square punch (some people have square fingers🤔) and it’s working, I couldn’t cut a thumb hole free hand to save myself😂 Okay so the spinning class threw me there for a minute, I had a lovely picture in my head of you sitting at a beautiful antique spinning wheel surrounded by fabulous fibres😂 no seriously I did, I felt a little jealous and then totally deflated when I realised we were talking exercise not old school craft😆 Brilliant tutorial today, loved it🥰 X

    when using your hole punch turn it upside down and take off the tray and you can see where you are placing your paper and cut it out the depth you want.

    A little trick using your punch....turn it upside down and you can see where your are punching...I use a circle punch and put a little tick in the middle and on each side of the circle on the punch so I know it is even before I punch...seems to help a lot to make it even and in the right spot! Have a great day everyone!

    Yesterday I was tee and coffeedying like crazy because of the last good day here in Switzerland.
    And as usual I thought: why not in summer when the papers dry in notime> Why always waiting till the last minute :)
    The whole garden was fulllll yesterday and I was happy, untill........suddenly the wind came up.
    My neighbors already think I am crazy with my papers and now I had to run around like crazy to get my papers in :) :)

    Now if you look at that page and not art on that page it looks like there's a creepy Voodoo guy staring at you or is it just me it's almost like a mask and where you put the circle for the thumb that's right between his eyes I'd say I'm just kidding but I really mean it
