    I love these mass making videos. They are so helpful even if they may not be “interesting.” I always learn something new or at least a variation, plus get inspired for quick creation & prep. Thanks for doing them!

    Love the bulk making idea. There are a lot of newbies to this craft and it"s nice to have basic videos for all the supplies you can put into a jj. I crafted along with you and made twenty for various journals. Will be waiting for more bulk making videos.

    I am in California and while there are some parking garages that charge they are more commonly found in the larger cities or special events. Most shopping malls, and grocery shops in my area supply free parking. Oh and for the record- while everything does have an organized place in my craft area, more often than not, it is all atop my desk in a glorious mess! Love it!

    As a newbie I find it extremely time consuming to make one item at a time when you need it. It also disrupts the work flow. I enjoy crafting while watching videos/ listening and these are a good reminder to add to my stash while you are too. Thanks for coming up with these workshops.💕

    As a newb this is great for me, I love all the ideas on what to make as I really am struggling getting started, I've purchased some supplies, scrounged around the op shops and $2 shops but I go into my craft room intending on starting and just go blank and watch videos instead but whilst watching at the moment I'm cutting out the pieces from your secret garden kit :D

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  5 років тому +1

      Thank you Leslie, I so hope these videos help to get you started. Just try and think “go with the flow”, there are no rules with junk journals, so whatever you fancy is fine. Also, whatever you make, if you don’t like it, you can normally just alter it a bit to make it work 😊 x

    Hi, another great video for my Embellishments and Ephemera playlist! I love these bulk making projects, they are so useful. I don't decorate them in advance but I do ink them where appropriate as I find that saves a LOT of time. I did smile at your description of your desk, my workroom is so tiny I continually have to tidy things away, it's like the tide coming in sometimes...

      Thank you Carol, I am thrilled that you are enjoying the mass making workshops. I agree, making and inking saves a lot of time, and the fun part for when you come to use them. Yes, very,very, very messy desk! I just can’t keep it tidy, I cleared it (a long time ago now), but it very quickly returned to it’s current state! Yes tidal wave is a good description 😉 x

    These are realiy easy to make and still a great way to use up your scraps to decorate. I finally will be able to reink my distress ink after like you using water to the pad. I printed the whole secret garden and printed them smaller for paperclips and clusters. My desk is all cleared ready to go. I have alot of plants on my desk that I take off when I craft. Most of them are on a metal tray. It is the same tray that I use to coffee dye 8 x 14 papers. I dry them in the backyard because it is really hot here. I liked how you talked about parking, we don't have to pay exept downtown and some places have free 2 hour parking. Very interesting... :)

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  5 років тому

      Thank you Laura, I hope you enjoy your kit 😊, great idea to print it smaller as well for the paperclips and clusters. Wow, I can’t imagine having room in amongst my desk ephemera for plants! Lol . You are very lucky not having to pay for parking, it becomes very off putting, some places the fee is extortionate, Brighton, which is around 50 minutes from us can be about £12 for over 5 hours parking, which can happen if you go there for the day shopping and looking around. X

      Linda C I might have mislead everyone, but usually I print digital-kits from my computer, not my iPad. Yet what I’ve been able to do is print via iPad some recipes I found online. So, I will try to print an image using my iPad and see if it works. It is set up using WiFi at the moment. I will report back ASAP.

    Love what you create in these sessions. I love to create with you too. This helps me. Btw in Florida still no parking fees. Most shops in out door mall strips that have free space to park. If you come to New York..that is another story ..enormous fees to park to shop. But then they have mass transit that can get you all over the state and city. Great video Tina thank you again. Xx💞😍

    Funny, my husband was saying the other day about high streets dying. Where I live, I have a high street, has a wide range of shops, including Waitrose, their car park is free for a couple of hours which helps. Don’t get me started on council tax, ours is just under 3k per year. 💕 💕 the series.

    Hi Tina! I am feeling so much freedom because you have been sharing how to and why to make things in bulk! I am crafting with you each time!! So, yeah for us!!! I had a couple questions about two things you are using in your crafting. Firstly, I was wondering where I could get the K Craft clear rose stamp you are using! I have searched endlessly to try to find!!!! I love it so!! Secondly, what type of scissors are you using? They seem so straight cutting and long!! In need of some quality scissors now and love yours! So, thank you for sharing with me/us about this subject-so needed!!! Ay help you can give would be so appreciated!!! Keep them coming - please!!!

      Hi Diane, thank you for your lovely comment, it is wonderful to hear that you are enjoying the process of bulk making, and I love that we are crafting along together 😊 . The kaisercraft stamp set is called Treasured Moments, it’s a lovely set, although I love all Kaisercraft stamps. My scissors are just the large pair from the 3 pack that you can buy from Ikea. They are the scissors that I always use, whenever I go to Ikea, I just grab a few sets (they are literally only about £1 for the set), I don’t tend to use the other smaller scissors that come in the pack for crafting, I just use them in the kitchen etc. X

    Oh yes, a quick share also: with sheet music...I have found that I love to cut out the words/instructions of how to play a piece, i.e. Largo, pianissimo, etc...as little pieces of ephemera additions...I am a classical trained singer with a degree in music....so I guess I am favoring those music pages...

      Oh thank you Jenn, that’s wonderful to hear that you look forward to these workshops 😊 . Yes you could easily make these into little booklets or glue little pads from scraps in them. When I get a chance, we can do some projects using some of the things we’ve made x

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  5 років тому

      Thank you Suzanne for your question, these are for inserting in your journal and can be used on their own, or you could include extra pages inside them, there are several options and of course, anything goes really, so just have a play and decide what works best for you. I have made a note to do some videos of using the things that we have been making x

    I like the mass-making series but I wish you'd show the end use of the things you're making. Those of us new to your channel are left scratching our heads a bit. The title says it's a book. Will it have pages? Where do you put them? How do you attach them? I'm sure you do something super to complete them but what is it? Can you link us to a previous video that explains? Thanks.

    Ti Assuming the stamps you are using to create the collages are not stolen or illegal reproductions, you are free to use those stamps any way you wish, including making a collage out of them. This is the first sale doctrine, which states that once a patent or copyright owner sells a tangible good embodying the work (for copyrights) or the invention (for patents), the owner has exhausted its rights in that tangible good sold, and the purchaser is free to do anything he wants with it (with a few exceptions that aren't relevant here).
    Tina, was it you talking about stamps being under copyright?
    I was looking into it and this is what i came up with!
    This seems to me that you can collage with stamps and not be violating the copyright laws??
    What say you?
    ❤️🥰🇨🇦❤️
    So, if you were to sell the collage itself, you would be selling the actual physical goods - the stamps - that were previously sold by the copyright owner, or by someone who themselves bought from the copyright owner, not a copy, and thus would not be violating the copyright. That is not to say that you have to sell them for the same price you bought them for - you can charge whatever the market will bear for turning them into art.

      Thank you so much Maggie, I really appreciate your informative comment. It seems to be really tricky, and people seem to have different views as to policies. I think it’s safest to just give a bit of a wide berth, you know, if in doubt leave it out 😉 x
